Oily Skin-Solutions, Makeup and Beauty Regimens (Thread 2)

I've used the high end products (MAC Blot Powder,  MAC Studio Fix, Ben Nye, RCMA Powder, Nars Translucent Powders, etc.) Tried pressed powders and loose powders that will help me control my super oily skin! I must say I have the most extreme oiliest skin! Kakatouch up ko lang less than an hour I look like a greaseball! I tried the "TINY BUDS RICE POWDER" and my God it worked! Di ako nging oily, dewy lang. Before I can use 6-8 blotting sheets in 1 day pero ngayon 1-2 sheets na lang. Amazing right? Try nyo

Sis is the tiny buds rice powder okay for acne-prone skin girls like me? And saan siya mabibili?

I think I have the worst oily-est skin ever. Tried a lot of products, but at the end of the day my skin gets shine galore. I'm using Tiny Buds too, as a finishing powder.. but I still get oilies

As for the iWhite moisturizing cream, I vouch for that. It's the best moisturizer I've tried so far.

My current skin care regimen:

Morning
Pond's Charcoal facial wash(small tube P85) + Dickinson's oil control astringent (P360 237ml) + Celeteque hydration gel moisturizer (small tube (P77) + Biore face milk Protect and Shine control Spf50 (P380 30ml)


Evening
Everything the same except for the sunscreen and alternate toner ko yung PSCF na rejuvenating variant.

Every other day,I use yung St Ive's Green tea scrub for exfoliation.


It took me a loooong time before I found yung perfect combination ng products for my skin. Super oily kasi. Every two hours dapat ako blot (Gatsby black film) ng oil,I'd use to sheets at a time. First sheet,every cm ng film oil,second sheet mga 3/4 siguro may oil. Ganon ka-oily. Tapos yung white na pressed powder ng Careline. Di ako pwede sa colored kasi may pimple pits ako sa face.

I read that some girls have had bad reaction sa Celeteque gel moisturizer,that's too bad. Buti na lang hiyanh ako,I like it kasi non-greasy and fast absorb. Not to mention,super affordable nya. But I'm still looking for an alternative na gel moisturizer,madali kasi ma-immune ang skin ko. Saka yung multiple benefits sana. I'm planninh to buy Laneige Balancing Emulsion. Nung tinest ko kasi sa store nila,parang gel type din sya and non-greasy.


Another product that I'be recently purchased, TFS oil clear compact with spf30. Namamahalan lang ako for everyday use,its P395 at 9g. Kaya hahanapin ko rin yung sinasabi nyo na Tiny Buds rice powder. 😊 Pero in fairness,nung ginamit ko sya last weekend,dewy lang ang face ko the whole night. Nag-stay din ang kilay ko. I applied my products ng 3pm. Nag-oily lang ako around midnight or 1am siguro. Pero di ko pa nata-try uli. But I hope, ganon talaga effect sa kin.

Sis, natry mo na ba i-apply yung Tiny Buds before putting foundie? Kasi para sakin mas effective sya in controlling my oilies compared sa gagamitin as finishing powder.

Welcome sis! Basta apply mo lang si Tiny Buds then foundie tapos Tiny Buds ulit. Sana effective din sayo Isa pang suggestion ko gumamit ng sponge instead of a brush. Ang gamit ko yung sa Maybelline Clear Smooth pero kahit anong sponge pede na. Nagging oily padin ako in a few hours pero di na kagaya ng dati na halos every hour naglalangis fez ko.

^Well actually I use my hands lang.. Haha!! Kaya no choice ako but to retouch after class (I'm a teacher kasi and my class begins at 7 and ends at 1:10pm) para nakapaglinis na ng kamay. Haha. Makabili na nga ng lalagyan ng loose powder with sponge!

Anyways, sisters may maissuggest ba kayong toner good for day use and for controlling oilies?

Woah 6 hrs bago ka nakakapgretouch sis? Di ko ata keri yun. For sure pede na magprito ng itlog sa muka ko nun. Dati 1 hour palang kelangan ko na mag-blot tapos nakaka-tatlong oil control films pa ako. Ngayon 1 to 2 films nalang after 2 to 3 hours then apply ulit ng Tiny Buds paminsan minsan.

Matagal narin akong naghahanap ng toner na pede gamitin bago mag-makeup. Ang dami ko narin nasubukan from alcohol to alcohol-free toners pero lagkit parin eh pero eto this week sis ginamit ko yung BN Acne Toner hindi sya malagkit. Parang nagiging matte yung face after iapply so parang primer ang effect sakin. This week napansin ko di ko na masyado kelangan mag-reapply ng Tiny Buds, blot blot nalang. Malapit ko na syang maging HG. Try mo din sis ibang suggestions here like Dickinson's and Celeteque kaso di ko pa sila nattry.

Sa facial wash din sis may mga gumagamit ng facial wash for men at effective sa knila. Di ko lang magawa kasi whitening soap ginagamit ko sa face ko ngayon dahil hindi pantay sa chest area ko.

Sis,ano yung BN Acne Toner?

I'm currently using Dickinson's Oil Control Astringent,may one week na rin. Together with the other prods,meduo nabawasan ang oiliness. Kaso parang di masyadong nakakalinis yung toner. Baka ubusin ko lang to tapos move on to the next.

Hi sis! Bianca Naranjo Acne Toner. Alcohol-free sya. May thread tayo dito ng Bianca Naranjo's Products para makita mo rin ibang feedbacks tska may FB and IG accounts si BN. Favorite toner ko yan so far kahit 1 week ko palang gamit. Nakakarelax yung minty feeling tapos matte ang fez pag natuyo. Ang ayoko lang dito may kamahalan siya. Nakalimutan ko na yung exact price pero parang nsa P300+ ata for 60 mL e maliit lang yun.

My face was very oily since high school and I often get breakouts.  I have been using OCM (Oil cleansing method) from Michelle phan since last month and now I got rid of my kiehl's ultra facial moisturizer and hada labo milk and lotion because i have switched to organic extra virgin olive oil. 

Now, my regimen is
AM:   Wash face using Kiehl's calendula facial wash
        3 drops of Organic extra olive oil on my face
        Hada Labo SPF 50+++
        BB power perfection by face shop.

In fairness, my face is dewy looking throughout the day.  No need for moisturizer and it also helped balanced my acne.  I have read somewhere that olive oil mimics the oil on our face so technically, my skin does not over produce oil so it actually helped balance the oily skin part.

PM: Oil cleansing method using Organic extra virgin olive oil and Etude house facial cotton (embossed)
       Wash face using Kiehl's ultra facial cleanser (with clarisonic)
       3 drops of Organic extra virgin olive oil on my face and neck. 

When I wake up, my skin became super soft and not oily.  Above regimen actually helped in reducing the oiliness of my face.  I also don't do touch ups anymore.  Just avoid the squeeky clean feeling as it means the skin will by dry and it will over produce oil (thus the oily skin).  Just try with single drop if you're not sure then gradually increase the dose. 

I just love the effect of organic extra olive oil on my skin.  I should have discovered it long time ago.

Sa mga naghahanap pala ng Tiny Buds rice powder,meron din pala sa SM Aura grocery store. P109 ata. Like ko yung scent saka ang pino nya,para nganh Eshiko. Sana maging hiyang ako sa kanya.

Korek sis nakakairita lang kasi ang mahal nya para sa toner tapos 2 weeks lang ang itatagal kung gagamitin mo twice a day eh sa mga prevous commercial toners ko as in halos ihilamos ko na kaya dito todo tipid talaga ko kay BN Acne Toner. Pero, love na love ko padin siya kasi gumaganda texture ng face ko and most of all hindi sticky underneath my moisturizer and foundie. I'll still repurchase padin hanggang sa makakita ako ng cheaper alternative. Sana mahiyang ka din sis sa Tiny Buds kasi effective talaga siya to control oily skin.

Super thank you sa mga nagrecommend ng tiny buds rice powder. Talagang hinanap ko to sa Landmark at Rustans para matry and effective nga talaga sya. Before every hour ako nagreretouch, pero since ginamit ko to, nabawasan talaga oiliness ng face ko. Thank you mga sisses! Sana makarecommend din kayo ng affordable na toner na effective din for oily skin, I tried yung celeteque toner, kaso walang effect eh.

^I still swear by BN Acne Toner. You might also want to try sis yung TBS Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner. Ginagamit yan ng ate ko recently. Matte ang effect sa face nya kasi may powdery substance na ingredient. Rave na rave nya yan kaso di ko pa nattry dahil in love pa ko sa BN Acne Toner.
