I have super oily skin, and guess what, I now stay away from "mattifying" skincare products. I have learned to embrace and looove my oily skin! :) I never thought the day would come I'd be using a highlighter on a daily basis, coz I used to think it would just further make me look like a grease ball. But lo, it gives me a healthy glow pala! :-*

Of course it helps that my skin has improved so much recently, and that I have a sensible skincare regimen now, on top of quality make-ups for my skin type (na inuna kong ibuild up yung stash bago yung decent skincare products, hehe tsk tsk).

My sensible nighttime skincare regimen recently:
- cleanse with pure, cold pressed argan oil
- deep pore cleanser (I use something from Kiehl's)
- acid toner (I use Biologique Recherche Lotion P50 and rave about it!)
- low-dosage tretinoin (2-3x a week lang)
- Estee Lauder ANR serum
- glycolic acid-based night cream (3-4x a week)

I still have a lot of facial oils and maybe I can incorporate them again in the near future.

I'm sticking to this regimen coz it's working wonders on my oily skin. In the morning, I just use a gentle cleanser and moisturize a lot. Oh, of course I use sunblock din pala. I should still use a gentle toner in the morning, but I'm often in a hurry. Pero moisturize galore talaga ako. Moisturize upon stepping out of the shower, moisturize while driving when stuck on the red light. LOL. If I'm only staying at home, I moisturize around 3x I think. And it's doing me good! :) I don't remember the last time I had to use blotting film or reapply loose powder/blotting powder before the day ends. Parang sobrang tagal na.

I think it works better if we do not suppress our oily skin from being, well, oily. For all we know, it's just dehydrated and needs to be moisturized, napapagkamalan lang na oily but skin is really thirsty in reality. :) A well-moisturized skin is healthy! And beautiful!  ;)

I also have oily and pimple-prone skin. Ive tried a lot of doctors and even tried laser treatments but lagi lang short term ang effect and its really expensive. So now, Ive decided i better use organic locally made products. Im trying now the phina little factory products.  Ive got the following products:
Rose Water Toner, Detox Soap (they also have Cure Soap if madami daw pimples), Healing Serum, Conditioning Serum and Perfectionist Kit (i never tried yet kasi may preparation pa).
Anyway, ive been using it for two weeks now except the Perfectionist Kit and so far its good. Im planning to continue it and so hopefully mahiyang na ko dito.

After years of trying a lot of skincare products for my oily and super sensitive skin, nakita ko rin mga products that work for me.
HHN SBO - moisturizer
Cleanser - Shulammite carrot soap
Cleansing oil- HHN Sunflower Cleansing Oil
Sunblock- Dermstrata Total Block Gel SPF 35
Toner- VMV Hypoallergenics Mattifying Toner
Clindamycin solution- for pimples only
Centella Gel - for pimples only, worked wonders, dry agad with no marks

So far, with these, di nako nagpopowder and di nako nag ooily. Allergic kasi ako sa talc...

My derma says to always moisturize my face kahit na oily yung skin ko. Pero use a moisturizer that fits your skin type. Kase if we use harsh things on our face, it dries it and ang counter effect ng skin natin is to moisturize ang dryness which is to produce oil.

Nung una ginamit ko is yung myra e vitawhite na face lotion then I switched to HHN Night Moisturizer tapos sa day nalang yung Myra e. OK naman skin ko now, no breakouts. Di kagaya ng skin ko dati, pimply.  :(

Kaya always choose a product na match sa skin type nyo.

Sis meron sa Glorietta, Chronicles Salon. Its at the cinema level beside starbucks and debenhams entrance.  You can also order via FB sa Phinas Little Factory, but there is delivery fee.

Maybelline ClearSmooth Shine-Free Pressed Powder
HHN Mineral Pressed Powder

Siguro nga wag magexpect sa coverage since baby powder lang siya:) How about oil controlling power sis, okay ba? I'm using Tiny Buds Rice Baby Powder kasi, and minsan hassle magapply kasi loose powder.
