this is my biggest problem.

oily skin.
i really hate it when i look so shiny in pictures.
when you're oily, it's hard to keep acne, pimples, white heads and black heads away.
so i've had bad skin from high school to college.
now am 28, i've learned how to take care of my skin, with the help of my dermatologist.
facial wash: i've tried high end (shu uemura, shiseido, clinique, etc.) low end (ponds, dove, etc.)
i find that the 100 peso glycolic soap from my dermatologist is the best.
toner: my skin is good with sekkisei, got this from rustan's but it's a bit expensive. my skin is okay with etude house, well it was, till i developed an allergic reaction to it. am trying our celeteque now, and for 80 pesos, am really happy with it. not as good as sekkisei but for the price, this is really good stuff!
moisturizer: have tried a lot too. sekkisei, again, is the best for my skin, but again too expensive. am trying the oil free moisturizer from celeteque, i feel i become oilier if i use this 2 times a day. so i have cut back to just using it at night.
eye cream/serum: nothing beats elizabeth arden
since am oily, primers are a must.
eye primer: urban decay. expensive but you just need a little, so a tube lasts a long time.
face primer: am still looking for a better one. i've tried face shop's green primer. gave me a lot of pimples. and keeps me oily.
smashbox, no oil control at all. so no point.
mac's prep and prime is the best for now. no pimples. and some oil control.
foundation: mac's studio fix. no other powder foundation for me. this helps with controlling oil. and no blemishes.
banana ben nye to set my makeup. i use this for retouches too.
i always have blotting sheets, of course.
with all this, i still am oily sometimes, but at least no more pimples. plus am not as oily as before.
