the only solution para sa mga nagmamake up na may oily skin is to PREP your face. First dapat freash form hilamos muna ,then eskinol cleanser(let it sit for 3mins), then toner (let it soak for 3mins) and lastly is moisturizer(let it dry for 5mins) then pwede kana mag lagay ng make up. i swear magtatagal ang make up nyo at di maghuhulas. for me it last for almost 8hrs.

Sis Bakit nung nag eskinol ako before eh parang my skin got oilier. I'm not sure if you guys had the same experience.  I also used regular soap on my face like safeguard before because  I thought nakaka dry yung safeguard but it got oiler pa lalo. No good.

^ minsan yata when you use a product that's too drying or matapang sa oily skin ang tendency magpproduce lalo ng oil kasi na-strip yung oil.. parang ganun nabasa ko dati

I already asked a derma regarding what soap to use for oily face.  My derma said to only use a mild soap like cetaphil or mild skin cleanser twice a day just to get rid of the oil and dirt.  Then she also said to use clindamycin and tretinoin if you have an acne prone skin.

Products that can lessen oiliness yet, still not that drying.

Problem ko eto dati. Years ago. I've used Clean and Clear, Ponds, Eskinol facial washes pero ganun. Kaya tuloy pimply ako dati. Then nagswitch ako sa Celeteque. Super effective sya saken. Nawala na rin pimple ko. Tapos my friend introduced me to organic products so nagswitch ako ng brand. Human Nature line na yung gamit ko. Gamit ko sa face is yung HN facial wash and toner na balancing, elemi and orange. Effective for me. Di na ako masyadong oily pero hindi rin super dry. But I'm thinking of swithching to another variant kasi makinis na face ko and I don't like the beads anymore. I want to try Nourishing Facial Wash and Nourishing Face Toner yung with tomato pero kinda hesitant kasi hiyang na ako sa balancing...

interested ako sa celeteque oil control, kaso may alcohol content. Not sure kung oil control toner or yung alcohol free nalang bibilhin ko :-) Wala naman akong pimples pero oily talaga skin ko. ano kaya mas okay, celetequ or hhn? magkano nga pala yun? :-P

this is my biggest problem. :( oily skin.
i really hate it when i look so shiny in pictures.

when you're oily, it's hard to keep acne, pimples, white heads and black heads away.
so i've had bad skin from high school to college.

now am 28, i've learned how to take care of my skin, with the help of my dermatologist.

facial wash: i've tried high end (shu uemura, shiseido, clinique, etc.) low end (ponds, dove, etc.)
i find that the 100 peso glycolic soap from my dermatologist is the best.

toner: my skin is good with sekkisei, got this from rustan's but it's a bit expensive. my skin is okay with etude house, well it was, till i developed an allergic reaction to it. am trying our celeteque now, and for 80 pesos, am really happy with it. not as good as sekkisei but for the price, this is really good stuff!

moisturizer: have tried a lot too. sekkisei, again, is the best for my skin, but again too expensive. am trying the oil free moisturizer from celeteque, i feel i become oilier if i use this 2 times a day. so i have cut back to just using it at night.

eye cream/serum: nothing beats elizabeth arden

since am oily, primers are a must.

eye primer: urban decay. expensive but you just need a little, so a tube lasts a long time.

face primer: am still looking for a better one. i've tried face shop's green primer. gave me a  lot of pimples. and keeps me oily.
smashbox, no oil control at all. so no point.
mac's prep and prime is the best for now. no pimples. and some oil control.

foundation: mac's studio fix. no other powder foundation for me. this helps with controlling oil. and no blemishes.

banana ben nye to set my makeup. i use this for retouches too.

i always have blotting sheets, of course.

with all this, i still am oily sometimes, but at least no more pimples. plus am not as oily as before.

:)

I have really oily skin though hindi naman ako talaga ma-pimples. My derma gave me oil control toner in the morning before I put my matte sunblock on. Ok naman, hindi ako humuhulas sa daytime and the sunblock doesn't make me oilier since matte finish nga sya. At night naman, she recommended pore refining toner to further tighten my pores. She also recommended that I avoid too much fried and spicy food, nuts, sweets and high carbohydrate foods since they worsen oiliness of the skin. Nakatulong naman lahat; my friends tell me that hindi na ako oily which makes me happy. :)

JDizon: pag harsh ang product sa face and makes your face drier or makes it feel dry
your skin will produce more oil kasi ang akala ng skin mo dry siya so produces more oil and
you get oilier

We need to avoid alcohol, and creams. Stick sa water based products, loose powders. Yun palang ang naaalala ko :p Nabasa ko na maganda daw Etude house goodbye pore ever primer stick. Nakkacontrol daw ng oiliness, may katry na ba neto? Is it effective?

I am sticking with Eshiko nano powder. Super oily at acne prone ako tipong wala pang 1hr nagooil na ako lalo pag mainit tas open pores talaga. With eshiko kahit after 3-4 hours wala kang makakapang oil. Medyo shiny oo lalo pagka-comute mo pero iba siyempre pag oil ang makapa ng mga daliri mo noh. Tas moisturizer ko skinb5 na oil-free.
