My hubby will file for our baby's report of birth so we are currently fixing his papers. When you brought evidences with you during the interview, how many did you bring.. like ilang sets ng pictures?

Congratulations sis!!! Finally!! Haha. Check mo sa ceac.state.gov if issued na yung status ng visa mo kapag issued usually 3to5days or 7 to 10days marereceive muna. Im so happy for you!!!:)))

Rhamneroj16: hi sis, bakit after magka green card dapat magpakasal? Thanks. Sabi kasi ng employer ko eh pakasal na agad hanggat dipa ako naiinterview ng us embassy kasi current na yung priority date ko... Andito pa ako sa pinas.
12 yrs na kami ni bf, pero ngayon lang namin naisipan magpakasal sa civil kasi medyo nag on the rocks ang relationship namin ng mid 2014 pero naayos naman na namin kaya nagdecide na kami na magpakasal this november kasi ayoko na na magkahiwalay pa kami. Hehe
Btw ako yung magkaka green card, sya yung magiging dependent ko pag nakasal na kami.

Wrong.  Pakasalan mo na sha kung gusto mo sha kasabay umalis. Or else u will wait 5 years to get him.

Kung husband mo na sha by the time of your interview,  magkaka green card din sha.

Thanks mga sis, yun din advised sa akin ng employer ko pakasalan ko na daw NOW na para makasama na. Kakasal lang namin last nov 18. Ipapasa ko na requirement nya. Employment based nga pala yung akin mga sis, nag start ako magkaron ng priority date last 2011, and now current na priority date ko. Kung alam ko labg na ganon eh dati pa kami nagpakasal, kasi 12 yrs na kaming bf-gf. Natatakot akong magpakasal kasi baka nga magka problema. Hehe eh yun pala eh pwede naman. Kelangan ko pa tuloy mag produce ng evidence na totoong matagal na kami ni hubby ko. Baka by next year eh mainterview na rin kami siguro.

Jazzlawyer, yung spousal visa mo how long valid?

Balak na namin to finally finally fix my petition. We'll most likely pass it together with my baby's report of birth abroad. We'll be filing directly at the US embassy manila kasi hubby lives here and i read that it gets approve in matter of days ( a month would be too long of a wait na daw). Okay na din as the report of birth and I-130 have similar evidences to be passed. I'll let you guys know how fast it would go. If my husband doesnt change his mind lol

Sayang nga eh, kasi expiration ng visa ko is April 20 2015. wedding namin April 27 2013.. kung nag reschedule pala ako, IR1 na ako agad pala. so conditional lang immigrant visa ko now and magiging permanent daw after 2 years... kung pumasok yung expiration ng visa ko sa 2 year anniv namin, permanent resident na sana dapat ako

Thanks sis! Sayang nga, its just a matter of a few months. Hassle din mag removal of conditional status. IR1 category na ako since hubby and I have been married for 2 years already. Hay ewan just thinking about the papers i have to fill up and gather makes me dizzy. All the best to you and your hubby.

Update ko lang mga sis. Just went to Manila US Embassy for my Visa Interview on Feb 3, 2015 and it was approved

But now still waiting for my VISA. just called 2go hindi pa daw narerelease ng embassy sa kanila yung VISA ko although sa CEAC site "ISSUED" na sya. But still on the faith na tomorrow marereceive ko na rin

BTW dati ako F2A na upgrade lang to CR1 since hubby got his citizenship. so need din pala namin mag file ng removal of conditional status.

Sis matanung ko lang regarding saan ito? Kasi kame ng husband ko we waited for almost 12yrs bgo nagpakasal para antayin yung petition nya. Last dec yung greencard nya nakuha. Uwe sya for the wedding last feb tapus back to US llast april. Need pa nya kuha work bago ma file ang ang petition ko. Kaya nagulat ako dto e. [textspeak!] ba to sis. Pls tnx

Yun sa husband mo F2B ang category kaya 12-14yrs waiting. Meaning unmarried sons/daughter of green card holder. Yun magiging category mo pag umuwi sya at nagpakasal is F2A spouse and minor kids of Greencard holder.

My cousin's BF recently got his visa for F2B ata yun unmarried sons/daughters of a greencard holder.. they went to the US and got married in vegas then went back here (i think tourist visa yung pinsan ko).. para daw ma process yung papers ng pinsan ko.. pero andito nakabase yung guy at nagwork.. parang ang balak is pabalik balik na lang muna sila..

hindi ba hahanapan ng financial docs yung guy?? kasi lalabas na F2A yung pinsan ko..

A team of about 100 computer experts is working to resolve a hardware failure which emerged at a State Department facility in the US on June 9, but State Department officials have acknowledged that full service will not be resumed this week.
About 50,000 applications for a US visa are received daily by American embassies and consulates around the world.

And while the summer vacation time is busy, the system cranks up into overload towards August when tens of thousands of students begin to flood to US shores.
“We don’t expect that the system will be online before next week. I can’t give you any more specific detail with respect to timing on that,” State Department spokesman John Kirby said on Wednesday.
“This is a global issue and we’re working around the clock to fix it.”
The hardware failure is preventing the “processing and transmitting the mandatory security-related biometric data checks,” Kirby added.
While the US regretted the inconvenience “this is very much a security issue and that’s why we’re taking it so seriously.”
Some solutions are being worked on and on Wednesday about 250 Mexican workers “urgently needed to help with the harvests” and who had already been given visas in the past were issued with the right permits to enter the country, a senior State Department official told AFP.
“We anticipate that several hundred more will receive visas this week,” he added.
Last summer a different technical glitch related to a software patch also hit the US visa processing system.

New journey for me and my kid. F2A, November 2013 Priority Date. Interview last Aug 06 and we fly here last Aug 17.

My bf is an F2B with priority date march 2005.  We received na his NVC Welcome letter from US.    I have questions mga sis and need your help para alam namin next steps namin.

1  If he submits his documents this december ilang days processing and when siya makakaalis
2  If ever, I plan to join him sa US as tourist ilang months wait time sa greencard para we would know ilang months kame mag leave sa office
3  Do we need to wait for his greencard bago kame pwede pakasal
4  San mas advisable pakasal para makuha nya ko agad dito or sa US
5  fiance visa ba or spouse visa which is mas madali

^From experience, mas mabilis ang K1 visa (Fiance) rather than Spouse.  But research on it first. Ano ba ang visa ng boyfriend mo? Greencard holder na ba sya kaagad?  Am not sure kung pwedi magpetition ng K1 Visa ang greencard holder. Plus, kailangan may work na din sya. Kasi kailangan ang ITR pag magpetition, that is for both fiancee visa and spouse. Although pwedi pa din naman sya humingi ng joint sponsor. But just to be sure check the USCIS website.

My husband petitioned me from K1 but he's a US Citizen naman.
