granting that everything is moving forward, and no retrogression,

Please check your receipt number and try again. Mali ba mga sis ang ginagawa ko?Pasensya na mga sis i'm still reading your previous posts about the process.

Naka-petition ang Mommy ko ng Grandparents ko, kasama kame sa list (Spouse and Kids). Now, I'm 24 y/o and may Baby na ako. Makakasama pa ba ako (kame ng Baby ko) doon?

Dito kase sa petition na 'to naka-base ang pagpa-kasal namen ng partner ko. Hindi namen alam kung icoconsider pa namen yun or hindi na.

Nope. Pag over 21 hindi na makakasama. Pag na approve ang petition ng mom mo, si mother na ang mag fifile ng petition mo.

Hi! I finally have my interview date - October 16! 

Sa dami ng binabasa ko about sa preparations for the documents na kelangan dalhin sa interview, lalo ata ako naguguluhan sa kung ano lang ba talaga ang dapat dalhin.

Sa mga tapos na sa interview, anong specific documents lang ba ang dinala nyo?
Kasi pag nagbabasa ako sa ibang forum, ang dami nila sinasuggest na dalhin pero di naman kelangan.
Feeling ko nai stress ako sa preparations for this interview.
IR1 visa po ako.

hi!  Im not sure if Im on the right thread pardon me if mali.  Ask ko lang balak ko sana magpapetition sa brother ko once he gets his citizenship in US. Will it take 20 years para makuha nya ako?  Im married and with a son.  And if true na 20years by that time e more than 18 na yung anak ko so paano yun does it mean hindi ko siya maisasama and I should wait for my citizenship and ako pa mismo ang magfifile ng visa niya?  Thanks!

-- Your info is correct. If your son turns 18 when your petition is granted, you have to petition your son yourself but not until you become a citizen (once you've stayed in the U.S. for 5 years)

Ask ko lang bakit hinahanap yung chickenpox scars? Paano pag never pa nagkachickenpox? Napansin ko kasi lahat ng ngsshare ng medical experience hinanap sa kanila yung scar.. Saka paano pag walang immunization records anong hahanapin sayo?tia 😊

^AFAIK sis, kasi may vaccine na para don. and if nagkaroon ka na nito, no need na. (pls correct me if I'm wrong mga sis)

ako wala ding immunization records kasi na-Ondoy sa house ng mother ko. I just told them the truth na yun nga wala na dahil sa Ondoy flooding. then they asked me to show my arms for vaccine scars and after non they administered na yung 4 na vaccines for me. I think standard na nila yun na bigyan ka ng 4 na vaccines na yon even if meron ka na before nung baby ka pa in case wala na nga yung records mo. I asked the one na nag-inject sakin pano if magka-doble kasi hindi ko na sure if meron na nga ako non. sabi naman niya no need to worry naman daw except na lang kung buntis ako.

Ah ok thanks sis! Never pa kasi ako nagka chicken pox kaya kinabahan ako na wala akong mapapakitang scar sa kanila.saka palipat lipat kami ng house dati kaya wala na yung immunization record ko. Ipa-file pa lang naman ni hubby ( finally, after 8 long years! ) yung samin kaya basa basa muna ako.

kami din dati sis, nung tinanong kami if nagkachicken pox na kami sabi namin oo... kaso wala kaming proof, to think n 3yrs ago lang yun nung time ng paalis kami. si madir kasi sobrang takot magkapeklat kami kaya may anti itch n pinainom samin

FYI. US Congress considering changes on Family based visas. Some proposed changes are:
- limit number of visas for family based to make room for employment based visas.
- setting age limit (31) and capping the number for married sons and daughters of U.S. citizens seeking green cards
- eliminating the sibling category

Hello Girltalkers,

Can anyone help me if gaano katagal ang approval from USCIS. My hubby filed a petition i-130 form to USCIS and they received last january 3, 2014. My hubby received a text from them last January 8, 2014 that they have already received our application. Same day, he received an email  subject: "USCIS Acceptance Confirmation" stating that "Your case has been accepted and routed to the USCIS California Service Center for processing. Within 7-10 days by standard mail you will receive your official Receipt Notice (Form I-797) with your Receipt Number ********" . under F2A category din ako. diba NOA1 palang to then kapag may NOA2 ka na dun malalaman kung approved or not.

Let's wait for the NOA2 sis! USC na ba ang husband mo? kasi husband ko LPR palang then mag file na sya ng citizenship nya on april para ma upgrade yung petition sa akin.

I wish mapabilis ang process natin! cheers!!

yup sis US cit na siya.. we just got married april 2013.  hubby became a US cit 2013 then we got married months after here in the PH. naalala ko tinulungan ko pa siya sa exam niya over Skype by asking him questions based sa sample exam na inaral niya.
