sino nag take ng bevitrin? safe ba magtake ng malunggay supplements?

Hi! Just want to share the vitamins I took.
1st Check up at 7weeks preggy : Folart (Folate), and Mosvit  (multivitamins) plus Anmum every night.
4 mnths preggy: Folart, Mosvit, Trihemic (Iron) plus Anmum once a day
6 mnths preggy : Mosvit, Trihemic plus Anmum
8 mnths preggy : Trihemic and Anmum (still once a day)
I'm now on my 36th wk and wala naman problem sa pregnancy ko. Low blood lang yun nakita sa tests ko. When I was given iron sinabi ko kay dra na problem ko ang constipation kaya yun Trihemic yun nirecommend nya sa akin. Hindi na nya ako niresetahan ng calcium supplements kasi nagtatake naman daw ako ng Anmum. Once a day lang take ko kasi yun mom nung nabuntis sa bunsong kapatid ko nag Anmum 2x a day, ang laki naman ng weight gain nya. So once a day lang take ko. Anyway feeling ko naman healthy naman ang kain ko kasi palagi kami veggies, chicken at fish sa house.

I'm 5 months preggy now .. here's my vitamins:

1st - Folart & Natalwiz + Anmum
2nd - Iberet & Caltrate Plus

Stop na ni OB anmum kc para d daw ganong kalaki si baby. Sis ask ko lang, Constipated ako. as in sobra. Any suggestion mga sis kung ano pwede i take or gawin?

Ako yun iron vitamins ko under observation for 7 days malakas kasi maka-constipate kasi kapag daw super constipated ako change daw ni ob ng brand

Sis, I guess we dont need to be scared. I was prescribed obimin overseas and when I had my check up sa Pinas my ob asked me all the pre natal vitamins that I was prescribed to take throughout my pregnancy I mentioned Im taking obimin and my ob said, that I can just continue taking it and add iron vitamins. So I guess that's just safe, if not she could have just stopped and prescribed another brand. What she did ask me to stop is the dha supplements..

Really? Mabuti naman I'm still researching though, why did you stop the DHA supplements?

^ hi sis,  she didn't explain further during my check up why I need to stop taking it but she said it was unnecessary.
I for myself wanted to continue but the thing is I couldn't find an alternative in Pinas for my dha supplements that was prescribed to me (dhaxtra). I even asked my brother-in-law who is a licensed pharmacist and even his wife who is a doctor (pedia) but they could not give me a name of an alternative supplement to take oh well..

sabi ng OB ko malunggay supplements ok daw mga 6 months onwards. lalo pag nagbbreastfeed kasi nakakatulong daw makapagpagatas.

DHa and EPa are fir brain development right in short pampatalino ng baby? pls correct me if im wrong. binigyan kasi ako ni OB specific for pregnant.

dhaxtra softgel sis pricey nga lang 50 pesos per softgel kasi 1500 yung entire box eh. sa clinic ako ni ob bumili

that's my dha supplements! na-excite ako wala akong nahanap na kapalit nyan sa Pinas overseas kasi nireseta sa akin yan, sino ob mo sis at san ang clinic nya? thanks!

I am using DHAxtra too! Wala pa yan sa kahit anong drugstore. I buy it in our clinic in Neomedica, though 1800 ang selling price nila. Ang mahal so I drink it every other day, pasaway lang! Haha! I also take Sorbifer durules as my iron supplement & Natalie pregnancy vits. =)

sis ang layo pala ng clinic ng Neomedica..grabe kahit ang laki ng gel capsules ng dhaxtra e okay lang sa akin kaso naubos ko na wala na akong pamalit. Once a day ko yan tine-take e talagang ramdam na ramdam mo pag inimom mo sya sa lalamunan sa laki ng gel capsule...

ob ko sis sa alabang asian hospital, baka meron naman sa big hospitals near you ask the med reps or secretaries mga ob kasi may kinikita din mga secretary dun they will gladly assist you

hi sisses.. i'm 18 weeks preggy pero wala pa din ako tinetake na vitamins. I had two OBs and madami na din sila naprescribe na vitamins and binibili ko naman, kaya lang parati tinAatamad akong inumin kase puro may iron eh super constipated na ako as in umaabot ng 1 week. hindi rin ako umiinom ng Anmum, Hay what time ba usually dapat inumin [textspeak!] vitamins?
