wow sis, ang tatag nyo :) The fact that you are still alive and you have a new baby. It's really a blessing from God! :)

Thanks sis, grabe talaga pinagdaanan ko nung preggy ako, my ob warned me pa na my 10%chance na magkaroon ng Congenital Anomaly si baby, pero with faith in GOD. Healthy and Pretty baby si Louisse ko ;D. MIRACLE DO HAPPEN talaga ;)

@ sis meimei

Parang same vision na tayo that by June 2014 may utang akong matatapos. It's okay to clear all out your debt before saving kasi nga mas mataas pa interest natin sa utang kaysa savings. But make sure pa rin sis to save a little amount even paying kasi di mo rin alam pag may emergency. I think one of the reasons then in QLC is in terms of financial aspect kasi nga dami mo iisipin. Ika nga to defeat it, we must take it one at a time baka mapano pa tayo pagpalagi natin ito iisipin neglecting that God gave us so many blessings which sometimes we didn't appreciate.

Quarter Life Crisis Symptoms:

1. Feeling left behind
2. Regrets
3. Identity Crisis

Balik QLC na naman ako. The last time it happened on 2011. I think mas worst ata ngayon. Nag-sisisi kung bakit Nursing pa iyong kinuha ko, parang I want to switch career kasi kaya lang pera din ang problema. I feel so lost, di ko alam kung saan ba ako papunta.

I keep on thinking for my future, for my family's future.

So I decided to search for an online job. I keep on praying for it. :)

Thanks! :)

Parang ako nakaka experience din.

Going 26 next month. Pero naboboring-an sa life. I have work naman but not that high paying job.
:/ though
kinda happy pa naman sa work. Few friends. Shy type. Struggling to look and feel better. Hindi
naman pangit pero my insecurities. takot ma reject. haha lol

I like to take over with the family business pero parang ang hirap mag move kapag walang support.

^hindi ka nag-iisa, sis. i just turned 28 and i am nowhere near where i planned to be at this point of my life. baon pa nga ako sa utang eh. i'm just trying to survive and thinking na makakabangon din ako, that i can start over. no savings, no boyfriend, nothing. i'm just holding on, unti-unting inaayos ang buhay ko, looking forward to the day that i can get out of this mess i'm in.
you have my respect sis for keep moving forward. :) I know it's not easy but God will give you the strength you need. This too shall pass sis.

i think im experiencing this right now.
its been a month already since i resigned in my last job. parang yung feeling na hindi ko na alam yung gagawin ko sa buhay ko. malayo kasi yung boyfriend ko and nalulungkot talga ako.
26 years old na ako at sobra talaga ako nalulungkot although nag-aaral naman ako ngayon and im planning to have a job next year. siguro naiinip lang ako at nagiisip isip na kung ano ba ang dapat kong gawin sa buhay ko. =(

You're taking masters?

I'm all for continuing education.  I used to work for my dad and I did not know what to do with my life either.  I felt like there was no honour in working for my family because I did not earn my position.

^ hi nicoletta!
yup, i continued my masters. :) i only have 15 units left including my thesis, one year na lang at tapos na rin ako.

sa totoo lang, hindi pa rin nawala sakin itong quarter life crisis, right now, wala pa rin akong work. naka attend na ako ng job interviews, may mga offers, but i declined, hindi sa maarte ako. madami ako reasons. di ko feel yung workplace, di ko feel yung magiging boss, or siguro, ayoko lang magwork.
actually, gusto ko magtayo ng sarili kong bookstore and school supplies. pero natatakot pa kasi ako magbusiness. gusto ko muna mag-aral ang pagpaconsult sa mga prof ko. syempre, hanggat wala akong work, di ako makakaipon. sa totoo lang, wala akong ipon. pero hindi naman ako nagsisisi, kasi alam ko nagastos ko yun sa pagtravel ko at tuition fee ko sa school. im just so thankful na ang supportive ng parents ko na willing pa sila magbigay ng allowance sakin kahit turning 27 na ako this year. kakalungkot lang minsan kasi gusto ko ako naman tumulong sa kanila. at makapagbigay ng pera sa kanila. pero its the other way around. hayy. eto na naman ako. daming iniisip.

After 5 years (I'm 26), I'm finally out of this QLC madness. So happy that all the years of being a lost soul is now over. I'm happy with my career and work now but sadly, I'm entering a new crisis in life and it's called LOVE LIFE CRISIS. HAY. HAHAHA ;D

My girls and I were just talking about this the other day kasi isa isa na kaming magtetwenteen six, and although okay naman yung current situations namin, yun nga, the stuff we planned when we graduated in college haven't materialized yet. Nakakadepress, pero boyfie's telling me to take everything as it is and move forward.

If it wasn't for these damn hormones. :'(

Aww  :(

So this is what I am feeling right now. I don't know what happened but it was like I lost track. I don't know what to do, what I want or even where to go. I feel so alone, incomplete and recently I am always whining. And b*tching around the people pissing me off. I get irritated easily which is so unlikely of me. I'm starting to care less. I know that something is wrong with me. Having hard time to sleep and if I do, I feel like I don't want to wake up anymore. This is not soooo me.

I have gone through this, and I believe most of us did.  Lalo na years after graduation and parang wala namang improvement career-wise.  Pero it is important to note that happiness, contentment, and fulfillment sa career or sa life in general is a choice.

I wish what happened to me this year and the last was already my quarter life crisis. Not going into detail but the keyword is extreme restlessness, confusion and a bad mixture of different emotions. But things have pacified now, or i am juat a tad bit too busy to have time to dwell on it.

I've just turned 25 a week ago . kung iisipin matanda na ako but i dont feel like it. Feeling ko i'm still a child with minor responsibilities. I am a med student doing my junior internship so aside from my hospital slaving wala naman akong other responsibilities as i still dont earn money. So ewan.

Re: QLC

If you want to get out of QLC, scrap all your long-term plans and do not think of it too much. You'll eventually feel more depressed if you do not achieve it or you will end up living in your future world while doing nothing at the present.

Do you want a relationship?
Signup in dating sites or apps. Get out of your house and talk to strangers and mingle.

Do you want to be rich and have a great career?
Open an excel file. List your salary. Deduct half of it (or at least a third) towards savings which you will never touch unless there is an emergency. From there, deduct all your fixed expenses for the month. After that, use the remaining to pay for food, groceries, or whatever variable costs you have. After a year, use it to open your new business or invest. If you hate your job, send out your resumes to potential jobs that you like. Sometimes, a change of scenery is all you need.

Do you want to get out of your shell?
Get the hell out of your parent's house and live on your own whether it be in another city or country. The experience you gain when you become independent is priceless.

Do you want to be happy?
Stop whatever you are doing and tell your parents you love them. Bond with your whole family at least once a week. Find a hobby that you will enjoy doing during free time. And lastly, don't drive in EDSA. ;)

^ good to hear that you're out of it. And oh that's why your on OKC pala.. :P

Who are you there? Haha
