Correction to my earlier posts, I got Bistro109 as our caterer (don't know why I kept referring to Bistro101!)

Food was fabulous! My in laws and aunts enjoyed the food, and they don't like any food that is non-Chinese. Our guests kept raving and asked who for our caterer. Everyone was really full and their staff was very attentive, they had a total of 13 people for our party (160 guests).

Our final menu consisted of:

Dinner rolls
Pumpkin Soup
Salad with sundried tomatoes, candied walnut and edam cheese in balsamic vinaigrette
Carbonara Pasta
Steamed Rice
Maple crusted pork w/ apples and dijon mustard
Roast Beef w/ mashed potatoes
Rosemary chicken w/ jus
Parmesan crusted dory
Buttered shrimps
Panna Cotta topped with fresh fruit
Eclairs
Cream Puffs
Fresh Fruit in mini dishes

Hello everyone,

Here is my list of caterers na interested kami:
* Verleo
* Center Table
* Purple Dish
* Bistro 109
* Passion Cooks

Nacontact ko na lahat ng caterers listed above; nagreply na yung Verleo, Center Table, and Passion Cooks. Dun sa tatlo, I like Passion Cooks kasi more good reviews. And sabi nila, pwedeng icustomize yung menu, so if yung budget namin is Php250/head lang, pwede daw nilang icustomize to fit that budget. And mas gusto ko yung set-up ng Passion Cooks. Mas mura din yung price nila sa pagset up compared sa Center Table.

I'm still waiting for Bistro 109 and Purple Dish. May nakakaalam po ba dito kung how much yung pinakamurang rates nila?

And sa mga nakapagtry na nung mga nasa list above, pwede pong magbigay kayo ng comparison? Better po kasi than different personal reviews.

Also, I need help sa paggawa ng menu. Since our budget is Php250-300 lang, ano bang pwedeng food? As in simpleng beef/chicken/seafood meal lang, then rice or pasta? Lunch buffet or afternoon party yung event.

Ilan pax, sis? Nag inquire kasi ako sa passion cooks late last year. Told them my budget was 350 for 50 pax. Sabi nila pwede ko raw ba taasan budget ko to 450 tapos 60 pax.  They sent me menu for 450 and nakontian ako.  di ko na rin tinuloy.  Pero masarap talaga passion cooks and ok service.

^Bistro109's lowest set is 300/head but they can also customize. I think I saw one that was 250/head. Bka you can ask all of them what kind of menu they can provide you at your budget so you can compare and choose the best?

I had Bistro109 as my caterer and we are very happy with the service and food! I don't think there's a cost for setup anymore, it's part of their per head rate.

^^^sis I agree with funky f hindi yata possible na may pork/chicken/beef pasta sa 250-300/head sa passion cooks.

Kakabasa ko lang sa post sa kabilang thread ni sis aleng_maganda 330/head yun sa caterer nya verleo.

Mga nababasa ko dati na may 250/head na may pork/beef/chicken pasta sa blue petals, queensland, lola mamangs.

I cross out na Lola Mamang from my shortlist, kasi they don't have daw tables and chairs for guests, I will need to get another supplier pa for those. And on the attachment Judy sent the address is in Las Pinas but she said in text their office is in QC, they'll transfer na daw kasi, they will pa la bakit di pa din ina-update, oh well small thing lang naman yun.
I'm having third thougths naman with Verleo, kasi magtataas daw sila sa April 2013, e my event is on May, even if mag DP ako before sila magtaas still covered pa din ng pagtataas yung event ko, e binu-budget ko na nga pera ko now e para alam ko ano pa pwede ko makuha na mga nice-to-haves.

Thank you! I'll confirm with PC para makapaghanap ng iba. Pero I think ok na din 300/head. I don't want to try blue petals or queensland or verleo. Masarap din ba dun? Nagpapa-taste test ba mga caterers kahit not for wedding?

When i saw queensland's menu/packages, super sulit. At 235 pwede na tempura, salmon and may cooked on the spot pa. Sila kinuha ng bro in law ko sa wedding nya in 2011 and ok sya. Comment ko lang is di ganun ka-warm yung food but then again, understandable naman kasi beach wedding so mahangin and gabi pa

Wow I love salmon! Di pa sila nagrereply sakin eh. And I can't view their website here sa office. I'll take khriseeee's suggestion: wait ko yung reply nilang lahat and compare ko kung ano yung mabibigay nila for Php250 or Php300 per head. Pero ok yung tempura and salmon ha. Napangiti ako.

Thanks! As in 50-50 yung hit and miss nila? Di man lang 70-30 or 60-40? Anyway, let's see kung worth it na itake ang 50-50 risk nila. Sana talaga may taste test.

 Gor verleo for the second time na, package that we got is at 330per head with:

   -baby back ribs
   - prawn thermidore
   - chicken gordon blue
   - lengua estofada pala yung beef ko not roast beef
   - chami
   - plain rice

  No dessert kasi i got dessert buffet sa ibang supplier.

I know Anne of Bistro109 personally  They will be the caterer of my daughter's 7th birthday but I haven't decided on the menu 

Highly recommended by my cousin and her relatives kasi masarap and affordable. Nice set-up pa lagi.
