has anyone tried SMEJ catering services? Isa kasi sila sa mga accredited na caterers ng Museo Pambata and they have very afforadable packages. Meron pang additional 10% discount pag Museo event. Kaso wala ako nababasa na feedback so I don't know kung masarap ba food nila and kung ok ba sila. help please mga sis. TIA!

^ Sis, check the birthday stories thread.  I recall having read about a party held at Museo Pambata.

Here's the menu for the house party we are having in a few weeks' time:

Lasagna
Fish fingers with tartar sauce
Grilled boneless chicken
Clubhouse sandwich triangles
Assorted pastries - yema balls, lemon squares, espresso brownies
Orange juice/Soda

Sweet Inspirations will cater the merienda cena.  I purposely did not choose a full-course menu because I think it's too heavy for merienda and wala naman program or anything.  Just a balloon show, a craft activity and perhaps, a few parlor games for the kids.

I am kampante with Sweet Inspirations.  They have catered our parties since I was in college.  This is the third time this year that they will be catering a party at our house.  Their food tastes well and their service is impeccable.

We will be getting garden of eat'n cuisine as caterer for my MIL 70th birthday. I just saw ms teresita go sa multiply, since she can sponsor venue, no choice but to get her. At first i was
Hesitant kasi nga di naman sikat sa gt hehe, ok sya kausap and last night we had food tasting sa mismong house nya sa qc, birthday din kasi husband nya,she prepared those na napili ko para sa party, halos lahat masarap.

Heres our menu for mil party:
Nido soup
Chicken spring roll appetizer
Garden fresh salad
Roastbeef in mushroom sauce
Grilled bbq chicken
Grilled tanique in lemon butter sauce with caper
Carbonarra or pesto
Rice
2 desserts buco pandan un isa i forgot hehe
Bottomless ice tea.

80 pax lang get ko she gave at 35k, at first parang namahalan talaga ako kasi
300 per head lang budget ko, then she said she will
Prepare good for 100 pax na yun so payag nako
Since kasama na set up.adult party naman kaya di nako request for
Balloon kasi add on cost lang.2 parties kasi kami this july.

July 1 pa naman yung party so i just told
Her na sana ok yung food at set up nya. Ill
Be getting a diffrent caterer kasi for
July 23 ist birthday son ko,friend naman ni hubby so will update this thread if okay yung food at service both caterers. :-)

i just booked blue petals yung 240/head nila.. i explored queensland and kubiertos pero personal choice, i wanted to try blue petals.

got lola mamang's for the 1st bday party of my daughter 2 weeks ago. ok naman food , masarap naman. nagkaproblem lang ako w/ the drinks and nalaman ko lang from relatives after the party na. 1 round lang kc ang drink. the problem is, they did not serve the ice tea. nakastation lang sila sa isang area. so there are some na nagdoble siguro. and there were some who were asking for water, naubusan nadin even the glass. during the party, di ko na naicip na, baka meron di makakuha ng ice tea. but since 1 round lang cya, dpat sinerve nalang.  and ang gamit nila na baso for the water , di cya parang cocktail glass. ang gamit nila is parang sa pang canteen. di ko naman din naicip [textspeak!] detail na un. pero pag naiisip ko lang, had i known na ganun ang gamit nila na baso nagchange ako ng caterer. although , super mura tlaga nila sa price and ok naman food. maganda rin feedback sa knila dito, thats why i got them. pero cympre overall, [textspeak!] dating, parang canteen lang ang ganda pa naman ng venue namen.

i gave my feedback to the owner and ok naman cya kausap, pero d ko na nmention about the glass that they used. pro in case kuhain k ulit sila, sgro kung tipong sa house lang ang party. pero kung magrent ako ng venue, ill get another caterer, kahit mas mahal. mahirap talaga pag sobra affordable, di mo maexpect na ganun din kaganda ang mga amenities.. pero overall success naman party ng baby namen

try Angel's and a Chef catering service ..we got them during our son's dedication..highly recommended ang food and set up nila and nasunod naman mga napagusapan namin in terms of colors and table centerpiece...

I posted last june 19 that we had this food tasting sa garden of eat'n cuisine,gardencatering.muliply.com (queens catering).yan ang mga name nya.
Sya kasi may sponsor para sa venue ng anak ko (belleve qc) para sa july 23, if not, di talaga sya kukunin ko..

Eto na.. Last night, 70th birthday mom in law ko, 530 call time namin, we were there 5pm. wala pa food. set up sabi sya masurprise daw ako... talagang nasurprise ako..kasi wala ribon chair, simple table linens, no swags, buti nalang magnolia place itself maganda na..630...730..tsaka lang dumating food..naku, kulang pa!..no choice, gutom na guests so pinastart na food..8pm..830..9pm...dumating yung kulang , beef at chike..so yung guests na late dumating, nakakain, tapos i told guest bumalik nalang sa buffet.

food, matabang daw at kinulang! i paid 35k for 80 pax,sabi nya 90-100 kasya. my guests were only 90 i think, chairs nya exactly 80..grabe talaga, i paid in full week before..wrong move talaga at naiyak talaga ako. super sorry yung caterer, teresita lopez go name nya..kaso ano pa magagawa ng sorry nya..may mga unavoidable circumstances daw.

buti nalang okay yung program ni momy parang debut kasi.

We should only get reliable suppliers at kung di masyado kilala sa thread, dont pay in full. Para in case na ganito..may habol pa tayo. lagi kami nagpaparty, now lang talaga ako nagkaprob nga ganito, ok lang sana kung sa ibang bagay..kaso...food kasi..important detail sa party.

Problem ko lang, since sya yung may kakilala na sponsor sa party ng baby ko july 23, baka mamaya eh icancel nya yun, eh bayad na kami, at nabigay na mga invites.hays...

sisses, any idea how much passion cooks for kiddie party? ano po price range nila per head? i saw their multiply site kasi may theme dun na UP yun sana theme namin i emailed them already wala pa response

If you're from Rizal like me, I recommend Edron's Catering. Malapit sila sa lumang palengke ng Taytay.

I love their cakes (may filling na yema) and masarap naman silang magluto. You can search for their FB.

Sa kanila nagpa cater tita ko recently ulit, at 250/head, eto ang menu:

-Rice and Juice
-Fruit salad
-Baked Macaroni
-Roast Beef
-Chicken Cordon Blue
-Hamonado


Pag nagdagdag ka ng isa pang viand, 290/head. Plus, may libreng cake. =)  Kaya I am planning na sa
7th birthday ng anak ko, sa kanila ako papa cater.

for my baby'S binyag last april, we got angels delights catering services. 250/pax minimum of 100, plus 10% na service charge. masarap yung food, kahit yung mga guests na bata binalik balikan yung buffet table for the roast beef and cordon bleu. pero for my son's 1st birthday, try namin yung lola mamang's kasi good yung feedback plus mas mura siya ng di hamak.

SkyG, may package sila na 145 pesos plus bayad for the tables and chairs per person, yun lang yung kukunin ko, kasi meryenda time yung party, unlike sa binyag ng baby ko na lunchtime. i can forward the email from lola mamang's to you if you want. di pa ako nakakatawag kay ms judy, aayusin ko muna yung sa venue na gusto namin, baka maunahan kami eh.
