^^ Natatandaan ko na nagustuhan ko ang roast chicken nila, it's Mediterranean style kasi may olives and capers.  Yung panna cotta okay din.

I'll update you next week ha.  We ordered again from Red Chef for the boss's party this coming Friday.  Iba namang dishes in-order namin.  So far, nasasarapan ako sa food nila at ang styling maganda at classy.  Pati waiters mukhang malinis at maayos mag-handle ng food.  Mas mura sila compared to PC.  You can order party trays if you want to try out their food muna.  Somewhere in Timog ang commissary nila.

I also like the food of CVJ Catering.  Friend ko one of the daughters of the owners.  Classy din ang set-up from the linens to the skirting of the buffet table to the chafing dishes and utensils.  Faves ko from CVJ are lengua with mushroom sauce, roast beef, beef teriyaki, chicken cordon bleu, lasagna a la mexicana, baked salmon, baked macaroni.  CVJ catered the baptism and first birthday of my sons.

^nung wedding namin yes.. kasi we dont need recipt naman. i dunno now...

^^^ thanks so much sis marose for your inputs! so consistent pa rin ang red chef... my cousin also recommended cvj catering but i didn't request for their menu proposal. since i was declined by pc, i'm choosing from red chef, center table, madel's cuisine and lastly, uncle cheffy. baka naman may feedbacks kayo on these caterers, would love to hear it!

priority ko yung masarap na food para naman happy yung guests ko sa baptism celebration ng baby ko. secondary na yung good styling. nakakatuwa kasi pag nakita mong natransform yung venue from dreary to fabulous at pag naexecute ng maayos the theme you have in mind! lastly, good service also really counts a lot!

^ Hindi ako nasasarapan sa Uncle Cheffy.  I have not tried the food of Center Table (may punctuality issue ito based on old threads) and Madel's.

Edited to add: Masarap ang parmesan-crusted salmon steak and beef caldereta
ng Red Chef.  Yung Hickory bbq ribs medyo matigas nakuha ko.
Parang forte nila ang beef and fish dishes.

Helping my soon to be sis in law plan for her daughters baptism. purpledish kiddie birthday/baptismal package Looks promising! Even rivaling that from PC At a fraction of PC's cost! The electronic roll top chafing dish sounds interesting!!

I'm gonna super insist my sis in law na Kunin nila PDISH... So I can scrutinize more for my wedding LOL

@m_lim, I agree with you.  Consider having a tomato-based dish.  I suggest changing your pasta to a tomato-based one such as lasagna or change your chicken crepe
to the Hungarian chicken dish alam ko tomato-based yun.

sa package nila, kasama na talaga setup ng tables and chairs, buffet table, etc. doon?

do they charge out of town fee or service fee kung sa Quezon CIty ang venue?

Sis m_lim, you're planning for your baby's 1st bday na? Ako, sa binyag palang... Hehe...i got passion cooks several times na for my work-related events and they've never failed me. Medyo pricey nga lang compared sa ibang caterers pero sarap naman and ganda presentation.   Pati sa food tasting, bongga rin presentation nila when they went to my office tapos yung food tasting na good for 5 lang dapat, kinaya 10 pax kaya super happy officemates ko, hehe. Ill try to recall the sets of menu i got from them.
Na-try ko na rin verleo before and di rin ako happy.  Parang nothing special.
Sa christmas party naman namin for the past 2-3 years, k by cunanan kinukuha dahil sila accredited sa venue.  Set-up and presentation were really nice but the food was bland.

^^ di ba dapat mag-oopen sila ng cafe tapos feature nila yung ibang nasa catering menu nila? hindi ba natuloy?

^^  For lunch/dinner menu, cheapest is Php360++ and highest is Php650++.  The children's party menu (kiddie meal) starts at Php280, minimum of 50 pax.  This is based on the menu they sent in November 2012.
