I didn't get to change na anything from my menu but buti na lang everyone liked the food naman. The bbq spareribs and the salmon could be considered na rin pala as dry dishes coz they weren't saucy. Whew!

By the way, I'd just like to share din that I just had my baby baptized last sunday and we got verleo to cater for the reception. Our menu was steamed rice, baked beef lasagna, bbq spareribs, brocolli with crabmeat and asparagues, ox tongue in mushroom sauce, baked salmon with spinach cream sauce, buko lychee and a halo-halo station. The guests loved the food and kept going back for the baked salmon especially. The sauce was separated from it so it didn't overpower the fish. The halo-halo was a hit too coz super dami nyang ingredients. As in complete sya with the leche flan and ube. The only dish which i think they should improve is the ox tongue coz it was pretty bland for me, so I don't think I'll be including that the next time I plan for my baby's 1st birthday party. I'll definitely be getting verleo again!

how much yung package ng Verleo na nakuha mo?

;D Hi sisses, let me just remind you that all catering suppliers and other party suppliers has ups and down, may good and bad reviews yan. Hindi ibig sabihin kung nangyari ang maganda or bad experience sa isang client is lagi ng ganon ang mga services nila. I personally don't believe masyado sa reviews thou ginagawa ko itong guide, kasi tingin ko we all have different taste in everything, Pwedeng masarap sa akin and hindi masarap sa iba or pwedeng maganda sa paningin ko ang hindi maganda sa iba. Sa tingin ko ganito lang yan, cheaper supplier(P125-P220) means good food, good supplies, but not high standard in service and equipments = kung hinde ka pasosyal ok na ito, at least mura ka na, san ka?! don ka sa practical. And kung pasosyal ka naman get high end supplier(P280-P700), at don ka sa mahal, ang tanong sa karamihan kung kaya nyong magbayad ng mahal, kung kaya why not?! go ahead divah?! Lolsss. ;D

I had a food tasting with Merca's Food Services yesterday (may actual event). Was with my friend, she's looking for a cheaper catering service. They have a kiddie package worth 22k for 70adults and 30kids.

Food is okay napadami ang kain namin hehe. Ms. Loi the owner madaling kausap.

Kahapon, may potato and leak soup yung food sa passion cooks.

We will also have passion cooks as our caterer in May for my daughter's first birthday and baptism. It is a PM snack menu since 3 - 6 [textspeak!] party.

Our Menu:
Bacon and mushroom Quiche
Beef Tortilla Wraps
Chicken and Ham Crepe
Three mushroom Pasta

Desserts:
Choco Lazy Cake
Panna Cotta
Choco Marble Cake

Tropical fruit juice

Ok ba yung menu hindi ba kulang? I mean mabubusog kaya ang guest ko since ang foodcart lang na kinuha ko is yung FIC and Nachos ng sweet services?
Thanks in advance sa mag reply :)

@ystine, mas gusto ko ang quiche than the crepe.

Masarap iyan for merienda cena.

^ It's really up to you.   :)

The quiche kasi has bacon and mushroom, while the crepe has chicken and ham.  Medyo similar ang taste nila.  If your guests are meat lovers, go for it.  I prefer talaga the quiche kasi the crepe tends to lose its crispness after some time.

I think lang mas balanced if one dish will be replaced by the fish wraps kasi fish ito and puro may meat ang nasa menu mo except for the pasta.

And yes, filling na ang food choices mo. :)

Hi sis marose,

My husband insisted not to change the menu sabi nya he is a meat lover daw and gusto nya daw yun hahahaha .. so i guess i have no choice but to stick on it... I just hope my guest would love it too .

we had verleo at my son's party last sunday. we had fish fillet with asparagus, birthday noodles, ox tongue with mushroom sauce and buco pandan.  the fish fillet with asparagus got the most raves. here's my feedback:

:D
> flexible, they'll work with your budget
> affordable, they give discounts and freebies
> staff/servers are very, very nice, professional and well-trained
> generous servings
> for the drinks, they set up a drinks station and then they provided different kinds of softdrinks (coke, coke zero, sprite and royal). usually sa mga napupuntahan kong parties either coke and/or iced tea lang ang sine-serve tapos 1-2 glasses lang per guest. natuwa ako kasi i brought iced tea and juice that they served at the drinks station as well so lumabas na parang nagkaron kami ng open bar. nakita ko yung guests natuwang magpabalik-balik sa drinks station and masipag din yung waiters to ask guests if they wanted refills sa drinks nila.

:(
> some not-so-nice linens with small holes and stains. they did their best to make everything presentable and actually wala namang nakapansin, ako lang yata because i was there while they were setting up and i inspected everything maigi
> some guests said the food was really good and pinag-agawan pa nga yung mga leftovers but my family (most important feedback for me) thought na okay lang yung food, nothing spectacular
