Thanks sis for sharing! Kahit little kwento about charges and experience is already a big help. I only have check ups every sat and our ob's clinic during that day isnt at cardinal. But we finally had time to go there earlier today after check up. Should have asked my ob kasi kailangan pala ng letter for tour from the dr. Then to top it off admitting letter has to indicate that we're availing of the hosp package. Since im already scheduled for cs on nov 4 I need to get the admit letter revised..buti na lang we went there kanina...

Hindi kasi lahat ng ob nag-ooffer ng package. You need to ask your ob about it. We have nsd-local package (no anesthesia given) nsd-epidural package (painless) and cs-spinal package. Only moms that is carrying a full term baby without any complications can avail this package. Im currently working at cardinal delivery room so if you have any questions, feel free to ask me

I just want to inform u guys that we room in all of our well babies.  Yun na kasi ang gusto ng DOH. So, even if you gave birth nsd or cs, once matransfer na kayo sa room from delivery room, kasama niyo na si baby.  The only exception is if your baby is under observation or sick si baby.

^Is rooming-in automatic? Kasi my baby was put in the nursery. They did ask me if I wanted to her to room-in but we had so many guests that I declined and walked to the nursery for feedings.

HI!!I was supposed to give birth at MMC this January 2. Kaso I think their small private and large private packages are very expensive that's why I opted to transfer to cardinal santos or Lourdes. My OB quoted 100-110k for small private and 140-160k for large private. With my first baby kasi I availed the semi-private room pero I really had an awful experience (and spent 80k+ for it). I realized that I could find a better hospital with a large private room and spend the same amount that I can spend using a semi-private room in Cardinal Santos.

But I badly need your help sis. I need a highly recommended OB sana. Yung maalaga. Magaling sana yung OB ko ngayon sa MMC eh but I really need to be practical as well. Sayang naman yung masasave namen na 80k+.

If you could also send me her room details and schedule I would really appreciate it.

Try Dra Carmela Madrigal-Dy, she was my OB, and I'll definitely get her again for my next baby in the future. She's pro-normal delivery, I was able to deliver via lamaze with her as my OB. And I can say na may malasakit sya and hindi mukhang pera. Just not sure though how many years she's been practicing. But I think she's in her middle or late forties.

I was also in my 30th week when i transferred to her.

My OB is Dra. Patricia Luna-Sun, she is so nice. I felt at ease the moment I met her. She gave me her mobile number and I could text her anytime if I felt anything was wrong. I delivered via NSD with her even though my baby had a cord coil around her neck. She stayed by my side nearly the entire time of my labor, as in she was the one monitoring my contractions.

I will definitely go back to her for my second baby.

^sis, I'm not comfortable sharing her rates as I don't know if she has changed them. Best to discuss with her nalang. What time did you call? Her secretary is there all the time (unless it's lunch break). Try again nalang when you can.

I can share with you total cost - it was more or less 110K. But we stayed in a large private room for 4 days. I was NSD but newborn screening could only be done at 48 hours after birth. I gave birth 11PM na so that whole day was gone. We decided to just stay at the hospital until the newborn screening was completed.

Hi sis, she is my OB and I am currently 7 months pregnant under her care. She is very sweet and super caring. I text her anytime if I have any questions... Very open and down to earth. Hindi rin siya mukha pera unlike my past doctors. I really like her a lot.

Just wanted to know if anyone of you recently gave birth at CSMC under the care of Dra. Karen Torredes, how much does she charge? Included ba sya sa nagbibigay ng package? As much as possible I don't wanna transfer OB sana kasi im really comfortable with her kaya lang I might need to dahil sa HMO coverage. argh!

I read here na nasa 35k ang NSD delivery sa CSMC? What type of room yun? thanks so much!

i used to work in cardinal santos medical center for almost 4 yrs and dr. pastorfide is one of the best ob. he's an ob to the celebrities. you'll be fine under his care for sure.

Ask ko lang can I still use my maxicare for prenatal check up sa cardinal santos? Kay dra aguilar ako. eversince sa friendlycare ako nag papa check up sakanya and I use my maxicare for prenatal check ups. Since dun na ako manganganak sa cardinal she asked me to.have my check ups there and ultrasounds. TIA
