Hello sissies! I plan to give birth at Cardinal next month.  Any tips on what to bring to the hospital especially kung room-in ang baby? Super thanks!

Hi sis, she is my OB and I am currently 7 months pregnant under her care. She is very sweet and super caring. I text her anytime if I have any questions... Very open and down to earth. Hindi rin siya mukha pera unlike my past doctors. I really like her a lot.

Hi sis berryl, I'm also under Dra. Howard. Nanganak ka na ba? if you dont mind, how much ang inabot mo sakanya. I really like her a lot too! She's very warm, caring and honest as a doctor. I would like give birth at Cardinal din sana pero she warned me na ang quote nya is 100k for Cardinal :/ TIA.

@itsCJDJ - you have to bring 3 sets of baby's clothes, 3 swaddling blankets, and 1 bath towel. That is good for 2 nights ka na nasa hospital ha. You can bring extra if your stay is longer. Useful din ang breastfeeding cover lalo na kapag may mga bisita ka. Cardinal provides diapers and other bathing essentials.

Hello!  I am considering giving birth here. Can anyone confirm that Philhealth does not apply to the maternity packages?  Ang sabi kasi sa akin pag nag-avail ng Philhealth, regular maternity rates will apply.

Hi everyone, csmc is one of my favorite hospitals bec of the care and service. my current ob is affiliated with mmc and st lukes global. Im still having thoughts on giving birth at cardinal. Any good ob recommendations? Im almost 12 weeks na, so i guess i can still switch while this early. Thanks!

I'm actually having the same dilemma as you. I'm still trying to find an OB because my current OB is affiliated with st. lukes global and mmc (Dra. Patricia Malay-Kho) only. She is actually nice but sa CMSC ko sana gustong manganak (mas mura). Haha! My mother's friend recommended Dra. Solema G. Rivera from CSMC, you may check her out. I've read blogs about her and she seemed a very good OB. I hope I can schedule an appointment with her too.

I won't recommend my OB there, Dra. Asuncion right after I gave birth I never go back to her.
She was my OB from 2011 until I had a baby. When its a first time, I would expect of a guidance, presence of an OB with me not all the time but atleast when needed. However, she was only there when nung i CS na ako. And visited me once in the room eh 3 days ako dun. The last visit was her fee collection. I was not able to checked out earlier pa kase hindi sya makasign dahil nasa conference sya and couldn't go back to the hospital yet. So yun extended stay gave birth ng Saturday checked should be Tuesday, naging Wednesday

i am planning to give birth at cardinal santos and my OB is dr.lety chua-toregosa. anyone who had her as OB? magkano ang rates nya and how is she as an ob? first time ko kasi nagpacheckup sakanya and i observed that she is strict pero nakakausap naman unlike un dating ob ko na kung hindi ako magtatanong eh wala din siyang sasabihin. lol.

hopefully lower than 100k ang normal delivery rates.. di na kaya ng budget pag lampas pa. hehe.

I gave birth last October at CSMC. Normal delivery but vacuum assisted. Our bill was around 90k. Private room na yun. Sulit naman kasi maganda services kasama na ang free consultation sa lactation expert na nakatulong ng malaki sa breastfeeding.

Plan ko din dito manganak.. sino po na-CS dito recently? Pa-share naman how much nagastos, hospital bill, package, doctors' PF.. sana may marecommend na OB na mabait and magaling pero abot kaya ang PF hehe.. i'm hoping around 100k [textspeak!] bill (less na lahat, given na scheduled CS and no complications). 

Mas ok kung less than 100k (economized package + doctors' PF) .. thank you sa mag-uupdate

2014 pa ko nanganak sa CSMC, less than 150k lahat lahat na. Di ko rin recommend OB ko. HAHAHA. Gusto ko maalaga.

I don't want to go to her for checkup then if she's way expensive pala di na ko magpakita 😄  I don't know how do you do your scouting. Please share. TIA!!!

Hi, anyone here knows kung pwede ba mag-avail ng package sa Cardinal Santos even if may part na icocover ang HMO? or dapat ba normal rates ang kunin? Thanks.
