Wow, ang ganda ng itinerary. Not bad for the price. Paano ang accomodation niyan sis? Kasama ko kasi si hubby.

Is it true na may direct route na ang cable tours to sagada?

^ yes. Cable tours offers direct trips to Sagada via bontoc. Although I'm not sure if their buses are still in good condition.  I heard from friends na panget daw bus nila and luma na.

Thank you sis. Finally nagdecide kami na magsagada na lang ni hubby. Mukhang hindi kakayanin kung kasama ang pag akyat ng Mt Pulag since 3 days and 2 nights lang allotted namin for the trip. We will be going with our relatives this Feb 24-26. How much pala ang bayad sa tour guide? Per person po ba yun or per group? Per day or per location? Thanks

hi goddess_diana,  There is a standard tour guide rates  per tour destination or package.  naka post yan dun sa municipal hall kailangan nyo pumunta duon for registration upon arrival and to get your guide.  example if you choose to go to sumaguing cave for caving activity standard rate is p500 maximum of 4pax. so kung dalawa lang kayo that would be p200 each.

Tip : hanap kayo ng kasabayan if you're going to big falls and kiltepen view both destination required to hire a jeep since malayo ito at para may ka sharing kayo sa jeep fee. you may ask your guide kung sinung may pupunta rin.

me and my friend are planning to go to sagada sa holy week (first week of April) 3D/2N (night trip ng maundy thurs MLA-BANAUE-BONTOC-MLA route) with a limited budget so i was thinking kung malapit lang yung echo valley from residential lodge or yung ibang tourist spots like calvary hills, hanging coffin na pwede na lang mg-DIY instead of getting a tour guide.

meron ba pupunta in sagada by that time para makisabay na lang kami pra shared na lang sa guide fees/jeepney rental? thanks in advance.

hmmm...as far as i know fully book na ang residential lodge ng holy thurs and friday. kasi a  friend, group of 50 na sila from cebu going sa sagada na book sa residential.  yes walking distance lang st. mary church and echo valley from residential lodge. will be there on April 5, 6 ,7 with private vechicle kaya sorry hehe labo tayo mag share sa Jeep rental

would you know kung ano pinakamalapit na hostel from residential lodge? para dun na lang kami magpareserve.

Andun ako Feb 9-13 (my 5th time  ). Kakamiss tong lugar anto. Fiesta doon sa weekend.
If your planning to go with the Manila-Banuae-Bontoc-Sagada route, buy your manila-banaue tickets way ahead. Di ko lang sure kung operational na yung Autobus at Florida. Pero Ohayami is, leaving Manila @ 9:00pm++. Suggest though na take the easy route, Manila-Bagiuo-Sagada (incase na di kayo daan ng Banaue). Batad rice terraces ata is under renovation...

Echo Valley, Hanging Coffin, Calvary Hills & Underground River is within Sagada proper lang. No needs of guides, map lang need mo. Natry punta sa mga yan mag isa, same with Lake Danum, sagada pottery and Small Falls. Subrang daming tao sa holy week so better reserve you accomodation and guide. Queuing sa loob ng cave... Also consider if you need to hire a transpo sa mga pupuntahan nyo.

[textspeak!] mga nka-group na na-mention walking distance lang ba cya or we have to ride a jeep to go to each of the group? kase we're planning to stay in residential lodge pero kung fully bookd na as previouly mentioned, gusto nmen sana yung malapit din dun sa residential lodge. any suggestions? yung aguid rice terraces, ok din ba na puntahan? thanks.

- Echo Valley, Hanging Coffin, Calvary Hills, Underground River: walking distance (super lapit)
- Lake Danum, Sagada pottery (long walk, +2 hours depende kung mabilis kayo. What we do is walkaton to Sagada Pottery (kung walang tao, pasok lang kayo) then ride a public bus going to Besao (15mins) and have the driver drop you off at Lake Danum entrance. You can also hitch a ride pag may nakasalubong kayo. You always have an option to rent a transpo. Been to Lake Danum 4 times.. we walked twice (round tirp), hitch a private car once, ride a public bus for free (driver didnt let us pay), & rented a transpo once.
- Small Falls, Sagada Weaving: walking distance ( less than 30mins from town kung mabagal)

+ Key is to buy a map and ask around. Everyone is helpful.

Sis yung mga accomdotion sa town center magkakalapit lang naman. You can look for accomadations within town center.

Yung Aguid rice terraces madadaanan nyo yun papuntang Big Falls. Yun requires transpo talaga kasi malayo. Pero ask muna kayo sa mga guides or muncipal hall if pwede na sya puntahan. Kasi right now, close for public.

ayan pwede ka mamili dyan sis purplegarnet. from municipal hall mauuna yan traverler's inn next to residential lodge then canaway resthouse  nasa isang street lang sila though nakapag inquire ako sa canaway fully booked na sila on holyweek nagpa reserved group of one agency. try try mo na din tawagan. pag wala kapang makuha na place p.m. mo ako    

Big falls may sometimes closed for public pag may rituals sila. just ask your guide
