Hiiii! I'm actually a Nursing graduate. I recently passed the board exam too. Sabi kasi sa aking ng agency, since I'm a Nursing graduate I can take up Nursing in UNI. More likely na 2 years of studying na lang instead of 3. Yung 4 years of study ko dito sa Pinas, 1 year lang ang i-ccredit nila. Ano difference nito sa bridging program? Parang mas mabilis pa yon compared sa pag-aaral ko ulit ng 2 years. TIA.

sis pagka alam ko sa bridging program eh, ino offer Lang yun sa summer or winter school. make-credit din yon towards your degree. pero sis, board passer ka na sa aten, so might as well take the 2 years na sinasabe ng agent mo. kase dito pag nakagraduate ka ng nurse wala ng board automatic registered nurse ka na.

^ I asked my Counselor about that. Bridging program nga daw yung tawag. Kaso, very limited slots lang ang offered ng mga UNI. Also, I must have a 2 years experience as a nurse here in Philippines. Anyway, Yes sis, I might take up the 2 years of study. Para makaalis na din and maka-adjust sa environment in case na sa Oz ako mag-work as nurse. Mahirap ba ang aral sis? Wow. Does it mean na kailangan ko lang matapos yung degree then I can work as a RN in Oz?

hi mga Sis, ask ko lang, my Mom has been granted a 1 year tourist visa, oks lang ba if 1 way ticket lang muna ang kunin instead round trip at di magkaka problem dito sa airport pag dating nya? sa PAL website kase limited to 337 days lang yung pwede i-book. thanks.

I've asked this to immigration, if 6 months to 1 year ang visa, ok lang ang 1 way ticket.  they understand daw the possibilities na hindi icoconsume [textspeak!] term ng visa.  P

Yeah, RN naman ang labas doon sa mga courses na tinitingnan ko, parang fast track, graduate entry. Though 'yung costs kasi, medyo mabigat sa bulsa. Pero worth in naman siguro after, di ba?

Hi! My husband is doing the graduate entry course in UniMelb at the moment as a local student if you are referring to the Masters in Nursing Science. According to some of his international student classmates, parang hindi worth it especially since it's very expensive and there is no assurance of PR after graduation.

According to a doctor friend who is doing her Renal fellowship at Royal Children's, by 2015 daw covered na ng locals ang requirements for workforce due to a lot of scholarships provided by the government as in kaliwa't kanan ang incentives just for people to do at least EN and they are giving a lot of incentives to nurses who stopped working after maternity leave to come back to the workforce.

What we suggested to relatives who just passed the nursing board is to get the 2 years experience first so they will only need the bridging course which would only cost at most $5K in tuition fees compared to almost $50K in uni tuition fees.

Weigh the costs and benefits sis since nursing is not as lucrative as it seems according to my husband.

^hi mga sis, try nyo rin mag apply sa seek, i applied without a visa and they sponsored me, same thing nung pumunta ako sa NZ, wala akong visa and applied seek din, got a job and was sponsored...samahan ng maraming prayer...

hi mga sisses pasali nman, question po i got an offer from SCU in GoldCoast for Master of Prof Accounting program 2 years, my plan is to go and study pag naaprove ang student visa, possible ba mgchange ng course say after 1 trimester if hinde ko talaga gusto ang MPA im leaning on pursuing sana Nursing na [textspeak!] for better after graduate jobs.... pwede ba to mga sisses? Hello, I'm really interested in applying for a master degree in accounting at macquarie. I wonder lang if strict ba sila sa requirements. I know that converting my GWA to GPA is passed ako sa requirement na yun. I am not sure lang if my St Paul University formerly St Paul College (College pa sya at the time of my graduation) is an accredited University in Australia. Can anyone know about this? Anyone taking up masters? I inquired at Macquarie Uni, they said I need to submit all the complete requirements including IELTS if I want to get assessed. Mahal kasi ng IELTS so i wanted to know muna if I have chances to get it before taking review and exams.

ALso, about sa work. Mahirap ba makakuha ng work yun dependants full time? I know yun student, in our case is ako yun medyo mahirap yata since limited time lang pwede mag work pero if the applicant is available to work full time madali ba makakahanap? Strict ba sila about having an australian work experience? TIA

approve na tourist visa ko hehe. 1 month stay sa sydney. will go there sa december. sabi ng tita ko malungkot daw pasko at bagong taon doon. anyway, excited na ko!
