Hi! Anyone here from Adelaide?

I'm planning to study Nursing in Adelaide, Australia. Ano ba magandang UNI sa Adelaide? I'm torn between UniSA or Flinders. Alin ba mas maganda mga sis?

I just lodged our application for student visa last wednesday and hindi kami makapagdecide kung saang campus whether in Adelaide or Melbourne. Gusto namin sa Adelaide since may additional points sya for pr purposes but then unti lang daw jobs dun while in Melbourne sana maraming opportunities

anyone from Adelaide here?share naman mga sis kung marami bang mga odd jobs na pede applyan like clerk, cashier, supermarket...

depends where you live... what suburb are you gonna be living in ba?

I work in the city but I live in the northern suburbs. I take a train ride to get there, and to get home a train ride and a bus. Malayo layo but kayang kaya. Sa Manila nga, LRT, MRT at 2 jeepney rides ako to get to Makati, tapos dito na train at bus ride lang magrereklamo ako? it's doable. But ang difference lang dito sa Manila is everything has a schedule and buses aren't readily available, na tipong nakahintay, nakapila dyan sa may kanto pagbaba natin ng LRT/MRT.

May oversupply na ba ng nurses sa Australia?

I'm graduating from college next year and I'm planning to take Nursing (in Australia) after, 'yung graduate entry sana (unimelb and usyd have a program like that). Two years lang siya (4 sems + 1 summer sem). I'm looking at my options... dream ko talaga mag-work in a hospital setting. May ibang course pa kaya na pwede?

^alam ko, in demand pa naman sya. There are other "pathways" to become a nurse and that's either finishing an Advanced Diploma in Nursing and you become an Enrolled Nurse... or finish a Degree, and become a Registered Nurse.

Shempre if I were you, I'd aim higher Registered Nurse na!

^^if gusto mo talaga mag nurse mas better nga yung graduate entry na 2 years lang kaysa dun sa 3 years na bachelor, pero if nursing kana dito I think pede kana mag bridging program which is less than a year lang then you can apply na to be an RN, pero if you're not a nursing grad here then yung best option is yung graduate entry, ang alam ko yung flinders uni lang ata nag ooffer ng grad entry for nursing na yung previous course is unrelated to health, kasi yung ibang uni, kelangan daw may health subjects kana before though I'm not sure lang

^sis cha, di ba sa adelaide ka?ano course mo before and pano ka naging pr then citizen? through employer sponsorship ba or you apply as skilled worker or regional sponsored?
I'm set for adelaide na kasi at sa kaplan business school ako, may nababasa kasi ako na unti lang part time jobs jan.

Yeah, RN naman ang labas doon sa mga courses na tinitingnan ko, parang fast track, graduate entry. Though 'yung costs kasi, medyo mabigat sa bulsa. Pero worth in naman siguro after, di ba?

^^yep graduate entry is fine. I'd say it's worth it naman cuz ok ang pay ng RNs dito and may demand pa.

Hiiii! I'm actually a Nursing graduate. I recently passed the board exam too. Sabi kasi sa aking ng agency, since I'm a Nursing graduate I can take up Nursing in UNI. More likely na 2 years of studying na lang instead of 3. Yung 4 years of study ko dito sa Pinas, 1 year lang ang i-ccredit nila. Ano difference nito sa bridging program? Parang mas mabilis pa yon compared sa pag-aaral ko ulit ng 2 years. TIA.
