^^Yes, worth it for me. The curl stays for almost an entire day even after magwashoff na ng eye make up. Kaya lang I had to practice (a lot of times) before I got the correct angle sa paghawak ng Shu curler. Sa first few times kasi, parang bent sideways yun curl. Unlike sa Laura Mercier curler, kahit anong angle perfect yun curl. The tradeoff is it does not hold as long as Shu's curl.

agree with poreraser, does nothing for the pores parang so-so primer lang sya. hows the brightening uv base kaya? like ko pa din uv base because it doesnt break me out or give a white cast sa photos but im wondering what would be the best variant as im not impressed with the poreraser one

i bought the purple set from taste central. brightening ba yun? haha, can't remember. P750 lang e. i wanted to try lang sana.

The UV brightening is really brightening in the sense na it's a lavender white mousse. It may work well on light skintones the best. Darker skin tones may look ashy with it. You just have to be careful when you use it kasi baka your face is brightened while your neck is not. So use a small amount only.
The best is the UV bb mousse for me as a primer/base. It has the most decent coverage overall.
Shu curlers don't work well for me as well as the shiseido ones. I have almond eyes kasi. Maliit and not that curved. Shu curlers don't fit with my eye type.
Pero for me nothing beats the fanny serrano mini curlers, especially for the price!

sa mga may Shu Uemura eyelash curler, is it really worth it? Ive been contemplating for months whether to get this. my eyelashes are so stubborn they wont hold curls longer than an hour, will this do the trick kaya?

I'm currently uaing Fanny Serrano lang for years now and it holds my curls nalang pero parang I wanna switch di kaai noya naccurl lahat in one go. Parang di swak sa eye shape ko. Choosing beyween ahu, shiseido, or chanel. Di ko naman alin ang okay for my eyes. I have wide almond eyes.

Newbie here!

I availed of the eyebrow styling and the makeover from DG and as expected I found myself purchasing make up for the very first time - super late bloomer.

I purchased the following:

Nobara cream cover stick 754
Rouge unlimited supreme matte M CR 342
White recovery Ex+ whitening powder foundation 754
Foundation compact case
Duo color cheek set sweet pink
Duo case black

I got a few freebies and the lifetime membership but thought that sana dumerecho na ko sa Shu instead of buying the DG deals since ma-avail naman din ang eyebrow styling and make over for free when lifetime member na (P5k minimum purchase). Sayang ata ang P1.299 for the deals.

Anyway, I really don't wear make up but I want a refreshed me when I get back to work from my maternity leave.

For a no-make up or fresh look what other items/accessories should I buy?

I am thinking of:
- brush set
- lip pencil
- eyebrow pencil
- mascara

Mabigat sa bulsa! Is there a way to save or at least may promo kaya?

recently got the shu uemura lasting gel pencil eyeliners in m black and m brown. same creamy formula as the original gel liner but more convenient for carrying around. love that it's also waterproof

I'm currently hooked with their cleansing oil. During my trip last Jan. may nabili akong small size na cleansing oil for a fraction of the usual srp. Sobrang nagustuhan ko siya.
Then I went back to Hongkong ulit this weekend lang and I'm so happy na may nabili akong sale ng mamechiyo cleansing oil pink variant for only 320hkd and that's the big size pa

wow, thats such a steal for the 450mL. I'm about to run out of the Ultime8 sublime and I plan to go back to my default variant, si Sakura Fresh (pink).

How do you use the cleansing oils? Cotton ba or tissue?

all the variants - dry hands and face. si Ultime8 pwede slightly wet hands (dry face).

You have to massage the oil onto the skin tas you get to feel the dirt and grime loosen up off your face. I take time massaging the oil sa face. Afterwhich, i get small amounts of water sa palm and massage it against my oiled-up face, ayun mag eemulsify na yung oil to completely remove dirt and makeup.

for eye & lip makeup removal (especially when the liner accidentally smudges or if youd to redo your lip shade), better to use qtip and cotton pad respectively. masyadong inaabsorb ng tissue yung oil, imo.
