Hi sis
pazing. Sorry if this ends up wordy!
Day 1
1. Whitehall (watch the Horse guard parade - need to be there b4 11am right?)
2. Trafalgar Square (check if malapit na lang din ang Nelson Column and St. Martin-in-the-Fields)
3. The National Gallery
4. National Portrait Museum
5. Admiralty Arch
6. Westminster Abbey (If Churchill War Room is near, visit na din)
7. Big Ben
8. House of Parliament/Parliament Building
9. Chinatown
10. Covent Garden
If you're out by 8/830am at Westminster, you can see 6, 7, 8 together. If picture-picture lang, you should be done in less than an hour. Walk up north along Whitehall and you'll end up with the Horse Guard Parade on your left. The Changing of the Guards starts from there to the gates of Buckingham Palace. The Imperial War Museum where the
Churchill War Rooms are, is also on your left although not along Whitehall. It's £30? Or£25, I can't remember na to get in; there's not much to see from the outside as it's all underneath. It will also take you at least 2 hours in there.
After you've seen the Changing of the Guards (and guessing you skip the War Rooms), go up further north along Whitehall to get to
Trafalgar Square, where
Nelson's Column is right in the middle. If you followed the guards all the way to Buckingham, you'll have to go northeast along The Mall, right out from under the
Admiralty Arch, and straight to Trafalgar Square. If you went up via Whitehall, the Admiralty Arch will be southwest if you're facing Nelson's Column.
So! Right near Trafalgar Square is the
National Gallery, and just slightly behind it is the
National Portrait Gallery. If you're facing the National Gallery, there's a church on your left which
St. Martin-in-the-Fields.
Walk up along Charing Cross Road (St. Martin-in-the-Fields will be on your left, the National Gallery & National Portrait Gallery on your right) and you'll come to Leicester Square station. Walk towards the right and you'll find yourself in the midst of
Covent Garden. On your left will be
Chinatown. If you wanted to see them both and don't mind the walking, go to your left past St. Martin-in-the-Fields, west along The Strand, and just go left when you see the Adelphi Theatre. That should take you within Covent Garden. From there you can go southwest (you can walk down Long Acre, of any of the little streets), and you'll end up in Chinatown or even Soho.

Day 2
1. St. Paul's Cathedral
2. The Shard
3. Borough Market
4. Shakespeare's Globe Theater
5. Millennium Bridge
6. The Church of the Knight Templar
7. The Monument
8. Tower of London
9. HMS Belfast
10. Tate Modern
11 RAF Church
12. Tower Bridge
Girl, this is a major walk! I can't suggest where you start. It depends on the kind of day kase, but on a brilliant day, you get fantastic views. Get off St. Paul's underground if you want to start with
St. Paul's Cathedral. Check the times for when they let you in and climb for the views. This takes an hour or so, I think? Then go right down south and you'll cross the
Millenium Bridge and end right smack in front of
Tate Modern. There's a fee for exhibitions, and I think you need to be a member to get up the cafe for the views of St. Paul's dome. Anyway, from there, a short walk east is
Shakespeare's Globe. Go further along (just walk along the river path) and you'll end up in
Borough Market. Very close to it -- 5-10 mins -- is
The Shard (book to get up for the views). Go north, cross the famed London Bridge and you'll get to the
Monument. From there you can take the tube or walk (one stop lang eh) to Tower Hill. If you walk,
HMS Belfast would be on the river. You'll then have to cross
Tower Bridge to get to the
Tower of London.
You can walk up to Tower Hill station to get the tube back to Temple station, and see
The Church of the Knight Templar and
RAF Church. You can start from here instead of St. Paul's but the walk from Temple to St. Paul's is long. So depende kung gaano na kasakit paa mo kakalakad, you can do that. When the sun starts going down, I think it's the Waterloo Bridge near Temple that has these pretty Victorian streetlights. Not too sure if it's that or Blackfriars, but either way, nasa gitna ang Temple so you're bound to see it.
Day 3
1. Hyde Park
2. Buckingham Palace
3. St. James Park
4. Knight's Bridge
5. London Eye
6. Piccadilly
Did you want to get on the London Eye? If you just wanted photos, you could do this on your first day, since it's all close to Westminster. If not, you can start from here, work your way westward through St. James' Park, Buckingham Palace (if you didn't follow the guards during the changing), then Hyde Park. If you're not pagod from all the walking, Knightsbridge is nearby so you can check out Harrods too.
Day 4
1. Greenwich
2. Cutty Sark
3. Thames Clipper
4. Tower of London
5. Tower Bridge
6. Harrods
7. Oxford Street
Traveling all the way to Greenwich was a whole day affair when we did it. It's just too far southeast from where we live, but it's a lovely place. You can see Cutty Sark right outside the station. If you're careful with time, you can head back to Oxford Street, and going down Regent's Street, you'll end up in Piccadilly.
With all the sights you're planning to see, I'd suggest a walking lunch.

Dinner depends on where you end up. Day 1--you're near Soho and Chinatown. Day 2--you can walk up to Covent Garden from Temple. I'm not familiar with eats along or below the Thames as I live up north. Day 3--hmm, if you end up in Knightsbridge, there's Burger & Lobster in Harrods but that's queuing so depende how hungry you are! Day 4--you're near Soho/Piccadilly again. There's Hawskmoor for steak nearby, or there's Brassiere Zedel, a French art deco restaurant.
