Who's from Manchester here? My daughter would love to watch the Soccer Aid game on June 5, sakto nasa UK kami nun. Tickets will be purchased online, pero pano delivery ng tickets? May nakakaalam ba sa inyo? Prefer ko sana deliver na lang sa hotel, Hotel Old Trafford, or pick up sa stadium.

^ My hubby is a football fan and we watch football everytime we travel! Sabi nya it might be hard to get a ticket for Man U. If you can buy from the club website, you can pick it up on the day (eto madalas namin gawin). Kung third party website you can ask to be delivered sa hotel.

^Thanks for the reply. I bought the tickets na and I used the hotel's address para dun ipadala yung tickets. I've talked to the hotel na din, they actually help me gather info. They called the stadium and suggested that I use their address daw. We are no soccer fans, my daughter insists on watching lang coz of Louis Tomlinson of One Direction. LOL

^ You can fly to Edinburgh. You can fly anywhere sa UK with a UK visa.

^^as long as you have a valid UK visa then you can enter/leave through any of the border controls in the UK, Edinburgh included. To my knowledge though walang direct flight from MNL to Edinburgh so you will have to transit somewhere depende na lang anong airline ang kinuha mo.

Mga sis question, I'm currently here in London until August for work... but I'm planning to go to Paris and Switzerland sana, (side trip ba) kaso I don't have Schengen Visa with me. UK Visa lang and work permit Tier 2.

Do you have any suggestion on how to apply ng mabilis for Schengen Visa?

hello po. if a honeymooners will travel to UK in late Nov, how long can they stay with 100k budget? (good for two na, excluding airfare, shopping)

places to see: overnight sa edinburgh, stonehedge, london - city tour, harry potter tour, museums
airbnb or budget hotel
eat mostly prix meal, picnic at parks, once or twice dining at nice restaurants

optional: overnight at bath

^^ I dont think there is a fast way of getting a schengen visa, unless France or Switzerland has an express option.  I live in Dublin and normally 2 - 3 weeks ang schengen visa. Call the embassy, you still have time kung hanggang August ka pa.

Currently based here, but I haven't done much travelling to English Countryside.

Is Cornwall worth it? 6 hours by train, sobrang layo.

^ As a person who loves going to the seaside, I would say yes! Cornwall is definitely a go to place every summer. Please bear in mind that Cornwall is also quite big, it spans from Falmouth to Land's End and upto Newquay. 

Had been to as far south as Devon country from Torbay and and Falmouth.  And as far west as Newquay. It was a great experience. Plus the people  are always lovely. Food is great, and the cornish ice cream and clotted cream are way better than the ones Sainsburys sells (except for the clotted cream that Fortnum & Mason sells-this is quite divine).  The countryside in summer is always picturesque, the the photographer in me can't help but go back to.  St. Ives is also a go to place but a tad expensive.  Travelling by train is a bummer, but travelling with friends is a must. My friends and I loved our adventures in Newquay, some of them went back. If I still lived in London, would probably go back with them hehe.

I'm still not over our UK/Scotland trip last April-May. I want to go back!!!

I recommend The English Bus tour (https://www.theenglishbus.com/) if you plan to go to Stonehenge-Bath. Small group lang per tour which I really like.

^If you have a visa from the UK, you're only eligible to the 4 kingdoms mainly England, Wales, Northern Ireland and Scotland.  The EU (European Union) countries  require a different visa. For that you will need a schengen.

Hi! Is it advisable to our London and Edinburgh in mid March? I read temperature is between 9-6 degrees with 4 hours of sunshine? Is that too cold and the day too short? Uncomfy cold for me is the wet Vancouver temperature of less than 10 degrees. I dont know if its comparable.
