count me in. im on my 30's na din and no idea ako kung ano ba talaga ang gusto ko. andami kong gustong gawin pero diko alam kung paano ko uumpisahan. problem pa wala akong enough money para ma pursue ko lahat ng gusto ko. nanghihinayang na talaga ako sa ilang years na pinalampas ko. wala akong ibang pwedeng gawin at the moment but to pray and ask for divine guidance.

same here sis , parang pareho tayo gusto kong mag aral , gusto kong magwork , marami din akong gustong gawin sa life ko  pero paano ? i know mahina ang loob ko talaga, nakakainis talaga  ako.

hi mga sis..Im 31 now and finally very happy sa pinupuntahan ng career ko.

Last year I decided to have a homebased job via Odesk...at first super risky for me coz I have a son and syempre sa panahon ngayon talagang dapat me pinagkakakitaan but I tried it and now happy na ako finally nakita ko na ang right job for me.

Mga sis just find your strength (career wise) and even if risky go for it...habang nasa 30's pa tayo hanapin na natin kung san talaga tayo magsucceed and kung ano talaga gusto natin job kasi habang nagkakaedad eh talagang me discrimination na (here in Philippines). Don't be afraid to try...atleast habang maaga aga pa nalalaman na natin kung ano talaga career we want at san tayo patungo...goodluck everyone and we may all succeed.

Mula ng nagsara yung pinagttrabahuhan nya, hirap na hirap syang makahanap ng work because of her age. Madali sabihing it's never too late, kaya mo yan. Etc, but for someone like my friend na ilang beses na-reject because of age, di ko rin sya masisi kung minsan nadedepress na talaga sya. But of course di ko pinapakita sa kanya. I still encourage her to try and try. She's planning to go abroad na lang din pag wala pa ding luck here.
Kaya yan ang nakakainis sa Pinas.  ::)

Pa join. Will be turning 30 na rin in 2 years pero I always wish I could just forget about the pay but just do what I love to do. I guess most of those who want to jump ship e yung mga nasa BPO like me, pero I plan to save at least 6 months worth of what I earn now before resigning and deciding what to do.

Kakastress naman kasi [textspeak!] sa call centers.

i'm in early 20s but i'm uncertain about the career path i'm taking... kung siguro malaki yung financial aspect baka okay pa, but nooo.. haha. actually di ko naman kasi talaga type yung kinuha kong course, pero hindi rin naman sa ayoko, parang so-so lang. grumaduate lang ako for the sake of graduating, tapos pagdating sa work, andun pala yung implications nun..

the thing is, i'm not really sure what job i want, but right now i have started on entrepreneurship, which i enjoy naman tsaka for extra income din. so kahit doubtful at uncertain sa career path ko ngayon, tolerable naman kasi after office hours meron kang ginagawa that you enjoy.

join ako dito, im 31 and quit my job last yr, i came from a bpo co. stayed there for 8 yrs, umalis ako dun dahil sa sobrang stress na! hindi naman ganun dati pero dahil sa merger sobrang dumami yung trabaho, every week nako nagkakasakit grabe. last month lang i got an offer from a small company, office work pa ang ginagawa ko ngayon with paper works and all but im planning to try na mag sales :) mababa ang sweldo unlike with bpo pero hindi naman stressful, natututo tuloy ako magtipid haha kasi dati malaki ang sweldo bili lang ng bili kahit di kelangan :)

I'm turning 30 by the end of the year and i just made my decision to change career more than a month ago. I used to worked in the call center industry and now i am a freelancer/blogger. It's a bit hard because you have to start from scratch and learn the basics at the same time there's the pressure na kailangan mong humabol. But i guess the maturity that you have developed helps in handling everything with grace.

I resigned from work last week to focus on my child's schooling, incoming preschool kasi sya. Kind of scary pero I know that I also need to think of a way to keep my sanity. Hirap ata pag fulltime mom and wife.

I just turned 30 last week and got married 2 months ago so last December I decided that when I reach my 30th birthday, I should have a job na super like ko talaga. Yung tipo ng work na hindi pinagtyatyagaan lang just because of the salary or the position.
I came from 1 of the biggest company and the benefits are awesome, I thought that was the perfect job with a perfect salary & benefits.
Anyways, I decided to focus on the things I like doing the most. I love working on the internet, I may not be a gifted writer but I like to write, I may not be excellent in marketing but I wanted to learn more about Social Media Marketing.
So I decided to work at home as a Virtual Assistant, thank God I found a stable company & awesome boss! I felt more comfortable and happy that finally, I'm doing something I really like.

just my two cents ;)

Ano bang mga hilig mong gawin sis? Pwede kasing mas type mo yung magbusiness or maghowcase ng skills/talents mo kesa magwork under a company. Just my opinion.  :)

^ Ay naku sissie, i feel almost the same. Kasi nga I just resigned from work so ako ito natatakot na isugal yung kokonting perang naitago ko. It could have been easier if I were still single but now na may family na ko mejo mahirap magdecide about money. Then my hubby wants me to have my own diskarte daw, do as I please daw... ayokong masisi after kung merong di magandang mangyari sa business ko.  :-\
