Iniisip ko kung anong magandang next class na i-take after the Basic Photography.

awww sayang sis. nanlibre sya ng isang course sa 2009 students nya tapos 50% off naman sa succeeding courses na kukunin mo. sana may promo ulit si sir next year.

i didn't know that he offered discounts for his 2009 students. nalaman ko lang thru your posts. hindi ko na kasi pinupuntahan yung website niya. oh well.. sayang nga.. i'll still join in his classes pero regular price na.

The photography classes can wait and will always be there. As long as you take pictures & practice the skill, you'll be surprised that you don't need it anyway.

Aww Sis thanks : ) but really I have to take kasi very basic ang alam ko sa photography.  Nangangapa pa rin ako esp. using the external flash - positioning, settings, etc.

The photography classes can wait and will always be there. As long as you take pictures & practice the skill, you'll be surprised that you don't need it anyway.

I definitely agree with you, talagang practice makes a big difference.  Kahit naman papano ngayon I don't struggle setting up my cam.

pwede sis. canon 1000d at kit lens din ang gamit ko nung kumuha ako ng class ni sir nicolay. d60 naman gamit ng travel friend ko at iyong classmate namin na friend na rin namin ngayon canon sx20is ang gamit nung umattend ng class ni sir.

wow talaga..nice..sana matuto na rin ako, kasi one year na sa akinung dslr ko, di ko pa talaga cya alam, wala kasi ako [textspeak!] mag-aral..sana makasama din ako sa inyo mga sis pag may photoshoot... =)

Yup, you can join his classes. I joined his class almost 2 yrs ago, ang gamit ko lang is digicam pa nun. Hehe!

mga sis question lang po. sorry if this may appear as an stupid question, pero yung mga pics ba na parang collage ang dating (i.e. 4 small pics arranged in 1 big photo), sa photoshop lang ba ginagawa yun? or may cameras na may ganung settings? TIA sa replies!

^Sis you can do it in Photoshop as well as online sites like photobucket.  Alam ko dati nagawa ko din ito sa Picassa.

Not sure if meron sa camera, siguro depende sa model.  Mine don't have that.

Sa Iphone you can download app that can do that.  Not sure about other phones though.

@ bleudskymd: as in yung compact cam? buti allowed.    dun kasi sa isang photography class na nakita ko they require talaga that you have a DSLR.

^ sis ok ang photography classes sa FPPF (though medyo pricey). siguro kapag pang-seryosohang hobby na ako sa photography, saka na lang ako mag-aaral sa FPPF. good luck sis! let us know your feedback about their photography classes.

Yup. In his class, 3 kami nun na digicam ang gamit. Now, I'm not sure if Sir James still allows digicam when attending his Basic Photography Class. My disadvantage is that I wasn't able to apply immediately what I learned from him kasi wala yung ibang features sa digicam ko. ISO lang ang meron.

ok pa rin kay sir na naka-point and shoot or prosumer cameras ang students nya. iyon nga lang disadvantage ito sa mga kukuha kasi mainly iyong tinuturo ni sir na settings ay para sa nagmamanual shot sa dslr.

ang kagandahan kay sirnicolay pag nagkaroon ka na ng slr at nakalimutan mo na ang tinuro sayo (basta nakuha mo na ang course na gusto mo ulit kunin) pwedeng mag-sit in at kunin ulit ang subject na nakuha mo na dati.
