sis, sa basic digital photography, hindi photoshop ang ituturo ni sir nicolay ah. as in basics of photography (i.e. ISO, apperture, shutter speed, etc). he has other classes na photo editing. pero ang alam ko hindi photoshop ang tinuturo nya dun. more on adobe lightroom.

ohh, [textspeak!] ba yung pagkakaiba ng Lightroom at photoshop? meron na kasi akong cs4 eh pero nahihirapan akong gamitin. hehe

^ oo sis. iba ang lightroom sa photoshop. i've tried both. para sa akin, mas madali ang lightroom. pero kung basic digital photography ka mag-enrol, hindi kayo tuturuan ng photoshop at lightroom. as in photography basics lang talaga.

Good day! Sir James' class (Natural editing & web publishing) uses adobe lightroom & teaches his students how to use it. I strongly recommend that you also enroll in that class, after the basics.

I miss my photography. Lately, I haven't taken any shots because of my busy schedule.

kakaattend ko lang ng class ni sir james (sirnicolay) kanina. ayun, atlast marunong na akong mag-edit. sabi nga ni sir long time no see. last year pa kasi iyong inattendan kong class sa kanya. buti rin nag-intay ako naka-avail ako ng 50% discount sa anniv promo nya.

tama rin sis, practice lang ng practice sa pagkuha. masaya rin kung maganda na ang kuha mo kahit di mo inedit at dahil sa tamang pagtimpla mo.

what about film cameras? anyone here use film? i have a film cam na pamana sakin ng dad ko. i rarely rarely use it kasi ang gastos bumili ng film tapos papadevelop pa. my cousin had a class and they learned how to shoot using film and they were taught to process the photos themselves. kaso sa thailand siya. inggit ako. hehe.

sisses sorry nahihilo na ko magbrowse. I bought a d90,buy sana ko filter kaso andami palang klase. Yung hoya uv filter buy sana buy ko, eh wala ako time pumunta hidalgo ngayon, may site ako nakita yung filter exchange doon na lang ako magpurchase, kaso andami pang hoya uv filter na klase, sa mga naka d90, ano ba masuggest niyo?thanks po sa sasagot

since costly din yung dry box, meron ba dito nag improvise na lang?tips naman po please, yung akin kasi i always detach lens from body tapos sa camera bag ko lang siya nilalagay..

Kahit anung uv filter ok lang. pang protect lang naman ng lens yun. Pwede rin Phottix, Sunpak or Nisi!

naku! the last class i attended with him was still life & landscape photography around late 2009. hindi ko natitiyempuhan yung iba pang classes niya (portraits, black & white, street photography) - either puno na or i'm having clinic.

sana naman maka-attend na ako nung B/W photography classes ni sir nicolay this May. nakakainis ang work schedule namin sa office.. gggrrrr.. tagal ko na gustong matuto ng B/W photography even if mas challenging sya kesa sa regular photography. any feedback from those who have taken the B/W photography classes from sir nicolay? TIA for the replies, mga sis.
