8 Reasons Why Guys should not Carry their girlfriend/wife's Purse

^ I agree! The bag complements the look. IMO, I don't like seeing guys carry their gf's bags.. give me the impression na "ganun ba kabigat bag niya para ikaw magdala"

I dont like my hubby carrying my bag even with my exes before. Why? Simply because I AM NOT A BURDEN TO ANYBODY. Carrying your partner's bag is just showing that she is a weakling. I know for some its a sweet gestures but its kinda awkward seeing a guy carrying their partner's purse specially if he can carry it better than her hehe... Yah, I would not let my hubby carry my bag, he is already carrying a lot of s***t in his head for me to let him carry my purse or bag..

makulit si bf e! ayaw nya madami ko buhat! panget daw sa girl ang ganun! sabi ko naman ok lang na maging panget, bf ko naman na sya! haha! pero hinahayaan ko lang sya magbuhat ng mga pinamili, o kaya paperbag na may kung ano-ano kapag galing ako office tapos malling kami, but never my bag.. hindi kasi ko natutuwa sa eksenang ganun.. di din ako sanay, kaya kahit mga shopping bags gusto ko ako pa din magdala.. except na lang if appliances pinamili namen, di ko naman kaya bitbitin talaga yun. haha!

hmp! i dont ask my man to carry my purse, pwera nalang kung yun nga super nabibigatan na ako. nakakainis yung iba especially sa mga schools na ibibigay nung babae yung bag nya sa bf nya, elllo teh!! yaya kailangan mo hindi boyfriend!

my prof once told me that a woman wouldn't carry things they can't handle
whenever me and my boyfriend are together , I don't let him carry my things, lalo na kung super pang girl ang bag .  siguro pag sobrang bigat na bag pero dapat di pang girl itsura or pag di ko na kaya hindi niya rin ako pinapadala ng gamit niya dahil di daw bagay dapat fair

I only carry my gf's handbag only if she was carrying my laptop.  Which I think is only fair.

Kapag kaya kong bitbitin I would. Kasi ako mismo nahihiya for him to carry girly stuff.

Pero yun tipong luggage kapag uuwi kami or grocery items hanggang kaya niya siya ang magbubuhat. Even my laptop bag kung wala din siyang dalang mabigat he would carry it for me. Bawal kasi sa akin magbuhat ng mabigat. So as long as kaya kong buhatin ng walang hassle ako magdadala.

I agree, there are other gestures a guy can do to show his 'sweetness'.. Like my boyfie, he'd always open the door for me, carry the bag of groceries, etc.. But never, ever carry my handbag..
Coz if you really want to be that "sweet (and gay)", might as well carry your girlfriend too so you'll both look stupid, eh? LOL!

ang pangit tignan pag yung guy yung may hawak ng bag mo.. para syang t**ga bakit mo pa dinala yun in the first place kung di rin lang ikaw yung magbibitbit..

agree..isa pa, buong buhay mo ikaw nagdala ng sarili mong bag tapos ngaun nagka-bf ka lang ipapadala mo sa kanya? hindi ko kayang makita ng bf ko na mukhang ewan may dalang handbag sa maraming tao. kung marami ako dala, pwede pa.

hindi rin yun ang sukatan ng pagiging gentleman, they can be in other ways.. ^^

nung highschool ako naalala ko lang, inggit na inggit ako sa mga girls na pinagdadala ng bag ng mga jowa nila.. yung mga ex ko hindi nagawa sakin yun eh. si bf ko sinasabi sakin, mas bagay ikaw magdadala bag mo kasi mas maganda. and hindi din ako comfortable mamaya malaslas pa yung bag ko noh!

a hundred times agree with the thread starter. and yes the bag goes with the outfit kaya hindi pwedeng bitbitin ng iba. if i have extra gamit like laptop or gym bag then i let the husband bring it.

natawa talaga ako sa comment mo sis lol "sweet and gay" yes I dont find it a gesture of being sweet... just doesnt make sense to me, specially if the girl's bag is just a small handbag.

Aside from what the TS said. Na-b-bother din ako kapag yung guy nagdadala ng handbag sa shoulders nila.

Kasi masyadong nakadikit sa kilikili nila yung handbag kasi yung drop ng handle di naman talaga meant for guys. Kadiri lang. Iba ang pawis at body chemistry ng lalake e.

my husband carries our son's diaper bag every time we go out. ok naman sa kanya kasi hindi masiyadong halatang diaper bag, walang cartoon design.

this is the first time i read this thread. natatawa lang ako..
ako kasi, i am completely fine with my bf bringing my bag.
ayaw nya kasi na ako ang nagdadala, i think it his gentlemanly ways (not that i'm saying those men not doing the same are not gentlemen).

so ayun. preferences lang siguro yun. what's best for both of you.
