Hi, my wedding would be december this year. We are planning to visit London this January so by Oct sana gusto ko na mag apply ng visa para  mas maplan ko ang trip namin and kung mag france pa kami i still have time to apply for shegen visa.

Sa application namin ni fiance, ilalagay ba namin na honeymoon trip yun or be general na lang na tour lang? Sightseeing? A
Syempre pag nag submit kami ng documesnt, wala kami proof na married kami kasi ikakasal pa lang. Though we have a joint account naman and mga travel dates na magkakasabay. Meron din ako mga contract for our wedding like hotel reception and photo video confirmed. Which i think is unnecessary.

i am applying again for UK visa - general visitor

planning to submit all my documents on 13 April and my travel date would be on 25 April, mabibigyan kaya agad ako ng visa.. hirap kasi mag apply ng visa even if you have travel history..may sleepless nights talaga habang wala pa ang passport

^sis allow 15 working days hindi kasama sat and sun para sure.. ako nun kahit may previous visas ako 15days max padin bago lumabas yung sakin..

i haven't experienced this pero what i can advice is that apply as general tourist visa then state dun sa application form (may part na parang essay dun to help you in your visa) state na you'd go for honeymoon and then send a detailed itinerary trip. Include your contract of wedding maybe na galing church and maybe inivitation tapos yung ITR niyo pareho and then yung joint accounts niyo and single accounts. Very detailed ang application form like magkano ang baon, magkano laman ng account, magkano plan gastusin. Basta kailangan matibay ang evidence na babalik kayo ng pilipinas and enough ang funds sa bank accounts. HTH

i have submitted my application kanina sa vfs, 12:10pm ang schedule ko i thought maraming tao pagdating ko, ang bilis ko natapos 15 minutes lang

I remember maayos naman system nila, and everything went fast for us also.  I don't believe casing strict nila ang US, you can base naman sa reaction nila if approve ka na more or less.

Sis did you avail the sms service? May na receive ka na ba na message na your visa has been dispatched to the British Embassy? We applied kasi last April 13 and no text and email yet as of now

i did not avail any services that they offered, just the standard fee of usd129. my office mate availed the sms service, she submitted her application last 07 april and until now wala syang nareceive na notification. unlike with my last application, the following day i got an email that they have received my documents. i suspect binago na nila policy, since they put fees with the kind of service they offer, also i have noticed na there was an increase of visa fee, from usd142 to usd 129 (standard process)

well just hope we'll all get positive results

I was at VFS Global before for my UK visa application and at the lobby there was a booth for travel sim. I am trying to look for their services now but I can't find it. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and has anyone tried their services?

Apparently, the average processing time for a general visitor visa is 15 days as of March 2015.

not yet sis.. i have checked the website also, there is a chart where you can see % of applications decided and days of processing

i just thought for second time application fast tracked na ang processing, might be peak season this time of the year kaya busy ang embassy

just wanna share din yung experience ng officemate ko for availing sms service, naiinis sya because she did not received any sms regarding the status of her application

Hi sis, the rooms are at average rate of 6-7k a night. I don't think that's enough given may transpo, food and entrance/tour fees pa.
