suggest ko lang na sana maganda din ang presentation ng baon ng mga kids para mas ganahan silang kainin ang baon nila..like this bacon and egg. Nilagay ko sa muffin pan yung bacon, and then yung egg, topped with grated cheese and basil.  I baked it for 15 min

this one naman, hotdog and egg, topped with grated cheese and mint, I call it heartdog and egg  :)

chicken sisig
chicken breast, salted and fried.  cut into small pieces. set aside.
saute garlic in a little oil, then add onion and the chicken.
add reno liver spread, lemon (kalamansi), salt and pepper to taste.
mas gusto ko medyo angat yung lasa ng lemon.
ulam na namin lahat ito kaya lang naghihiwalay ako para sa mga anak ko yung walang sili at konting sibuyas.

chicken tocino (marinade in pineapple juice, lots of garlic, oyster sauce, brown sugar, salt and pepper)
beef tapa (oyster sauce, soy sauce, lemon, lots of pepper, pineapple juice)

pag madalian talaga, tuna flakes in oil yung century tuna. binabawasan ko lang ng oil then toppings na agad sa rice. yun nah!

mac 'n cheese -- I use chizweez, fresh milk and butter
ham and cheese roll -- fry it with breadcrumbs
shaped sandwich with melted cheese
lumpiang shanghai
cheese sticks

Plus I always make sure, may kasamang fresh fruits, para mawala din ang umay nya sa baon nya.

pa-share ng iba nyo pang pambaon, grabe ang hirap mag-isip ng mga easy to make baon, working mom din kasi ako kaya sa umaga talagang aligaga sa pagpe-prepare ng baon.

about "crunchy" ulam, hindi ba nawawala yung crunch kapag hindi na bagong luto like the case of lumpia?

^^with my experience, pag lumalamig ang lumpiang shanghai, lumalambot ang balat eh  :(

dagdag ko lang:

pancake, sine-shape ko sya using cookie cutter then nilalagyan ko ng spread like cheesewiz or nutella or peanut butter

then I recently discovered, yung muffin ng Gardenia ang sarap hehe... so pag di ako nakapag-prepare ng baon, yun ang isang option ko ipabaon  ;)

^great idea sis! will also try the pancake.

about lumpia, yun yung worry ko e. baka hindi kainin. gusto ko sana cheese sticks, i wonder if same effect din sa shanghai.

kapag gusto ko sya pagbaunin ng rice eto naman mga pinapaulam ko minsan:

chicken lollipops
chicken tocino (home made)
pork tocino (home made)
adobo
prawn camaron
scrambled egg (shine-shape ko using cookie cutter para hindi boring ang itsura hehe)

plus of course, fruits on the side

I recently do my nephew's baon who started nursery last week. He is a heavy but picky eater... ayaw nya dati ng lumpiang shanghai so I added cheese mas malasa sya parang cheese sticks na rin. One time I did spaghetti, yung sauce nilagyan ko ng grated carrots and small bellpepper with bits of leftover chicken. Hindi nya pansin kasi small cuts kapag kinain nya then alternate different pasta types, macaroni or twist type noodle.

One time its ham and cheese veggie sandwich rolled and cut into bite pieces. Mas nag eenjoy kainin AND ubusin yun food kasi parang pica pica lang ang dating.. then lots of water. Bawal kasi fruit juice/ tetra and soda sa school.
