hi, mommies! may tanong lang ako para sa mga nakapagpaship na ng mga big items from pobox.ph. Nagpaquote kasi ako sa kanila. I chose a playard and travel system (stroller and car seat) from amazon then sila (pobox) ang magpurchase for me. kasi pag ako din ang bibili using paypal, may additional charges din naman eh diba? well, they gave me a quotation kaso EXCLUDING shipping fee from LA to Manila they would determine daw the exact cost pag yung item ay nasa warehouse na nila. Have anyone tried magpaship ng playard &/or travel system from them? How much ang cost? so i would know kung makakatipid ba ako o mapapamahal lang...

^ sis, what do you mean may additional charges if ikaw mag-purchase via paypal? pobox will charge you some sort of shopping fee if they purchase for you kaya ako, i always purchase myself then i ship via po box.

yung items na napili mo sa amazon, you can contact them to ask for the package/box dimensions of the item. give these dimensions to po box so they can quote shipping fee from LA to manila kasi magiging odd-sized box siya.

but for reference, i was planning to buy a lightweight umbrella stroller kasi. the stroller is only 39.99 at amazon but po box quoted me 62.50 for shipping from LA to here. stroller lang yan. a travel system is more bulky because of the infant carrier/carseat. the playard will probably be about the same as the quote for my stroller.

sis clueless, sa ebay kasi nakikita ko lang pag magbabayad tru paypal may extra charge, i don't know if same applies in amazon. sa pobox meron nga silang charge if they'll buy for you, 5%. honestly, di lang talaga ako marunong gumamit ng paypal (though i have an account)... odd sized nga daw ang box pag mga strollers, cribs, playards kaya nga baka sa laki din ng shipping cost baka it will defeat lang din the purpose of buying online, di kaya? balitaan mo kami when you get your umbrella stroller ha

For irregular-sized stuff like trolleys, Sea Cargo companies charge 90 USD. Ganyan nangyari to my Aunt who sent my baby's Quinny Buzz 3 here-- kasi daw kung regular balikbayan box pinagpa-patong-patong lang nila, pag may kakaibang size nga naman hassle pa.

@milktea-- sis ako i ordered from target naman my baby's playard and travel system tapos shipped it through pobox.  Ang charge for the shipping was $60 for the playard and $115 for the travel system.

I've been doing a lot of online window shopping lately, dami ko nagugustuhan sa walmart or babiesrus but when it comes to shipping, talo talaga. Nag pa quote ako sa johnny air retail, mas mahal pa shipping kesa sa item mismo. Mas maganda talaga if may balikbayan box na lang, kaso ang tagal pa nun
