Vacation on Cruise...questions, tips, & suggestions

Just watched Living asia's star cruise episode, and i was so convinced to finally go aboard the star cruise's virgo. anybody who knows how much the said package would cost me? the most affordable rate of course...=)

last year, my family and i went on the star cruise virgo. yung 3-day cruise nila. from singapore to malaysia and thailand. the cruise ship itself is fantastic. the facilities are all great. very nice experience for me and the rest of the family. you should really try it

Hi sis! we have a travel agency but u can also check their rate sa website ng star cruise. Rate depends on your route and type of cabin. Ive tried their 3nights cruise, Sin-Penang-Phuket-Sin before.. and its super enjoyable. If ur not rushing, there are advance purchase promos also.

plan ko din to... kaya lang baka next year na.. may friend ako sa travel agency according to him mas makakamura kayo if you'll buy a slot mga 6 months ahead about 30-50% ang madidiscount nyo. nasa next year to do list ko to! ^_^

my parents and i watched the same episode sa asia living ata...and we are all convinced to take that cruise as well! Kasama ang meals sa package right? Ano pa ibang inclusions beside the meals? Buffet style ba ang meals? Thanks!

it is really way cheaper if you guys booked the cruise in advanced.

^wow sis! kami baka nov or feb na next year, medyo fully booked kami sa tours this year. pero I cant wait to go on a cruise din! Sis post ka dito after your cruise ha? Have a blesses trip! Make the most of the 6 meals per day! Hehe

^sis lemonade, is it really a "no jeans" dress code? pa-share naman ng usual dress code ng mga katauhan sa cruise.. hehe!  i haven't planned yet what clothes/shoes to bring because of this dilemma. tia!

^the dress code only applies at certain restaurants and on the captain's gala night. sabi doon, strictly formal--no jeans, no slippers, no sandals, etc. pero ang mga asians hindi naman sumusunod sa dress code. nung 1st cruise namin, nag-evening gown pa ako during the gala night. pero hindi rin naman lahat naka-formal, medyo na-out-of-place pa tuloy ako. kaya nung 2nd cruise namin, nag-cocktail dress na lang ako.

^ thanks sis... 'yun son ko din kasi hindi malaman ano gagawin eh puro siya jeans! how about for young ladies, kung hindi naman sa bella vista or if not for the gala night, can they wear shorts? pacensiya na sis lemonade, first timer kame ng family.

^^yes, definitely, you can wear shorts! i wore shorts a lot during our cruise. btw, please don't miss the nightly shows at the lido theater. they're fantastic!
