Vacation on Cruise...questions, tips, & suggestions

Hi guys, have you gone on a cruise? I plan to take my family to a surprise cruise but couldn't decide which one to take. Here are my options. If you've tried any of these, please tell me which is the MOST SCENIC one.

1. Carribean

2. Bahamas and Bermuda

3. Mexico

I've tried the Carribean cruise years ago so I can't remember most of the details. But I recall going through the Panama Canal.

By the way, if anyone here wants to go on a cruise to Alaska or Europe, I can share some tips as I have taken cruises to those places .

First time kami mag cruise this year.  mega production kasi 12 kami.  brother ko bahala sa tickets.  they say mas mura daw if you can booked it in the US.  sister ko ang nagbook ng flight and ako bahala sa mga shore excursions.  We went on a mediterranean cruise via the ruby princess.  we went to 10 ports.  start kami sa Venice and we ended in barcelona.  i took charge also of getting everyone's schengen visa from the italian embassy kasi yun ang pinaka maraming port na dadaanan namin.   Killer lang yun flight from Manila to Venice.  21 hours ata yun.  But once we're onbaord, sobrang sarap.  80% of the crew are Filipino kaya sobrang alaga sila if they find out you're from the PHils.  Sobrang nice din yun ship ng princess.   We went to Venice, Mykonos - Greece, Rome, Florence, Turkey (Istanbul, and Ephesus), and Barcelona.   Sobrang bitin.  Mag sa-save ako for my next european trip.  It's sobrang sulit to see that part of the world.

mga sis - depende sa ship, destination and time of the year. if 5 days lang, halos pareho lang if going to Europe and staying at a 5 star hotel for the duration of the stay.  para maka mura, timing mo yun promo rates ng plane and ship. 

sulit din kasi 5 star amenities yun board and lodging.  Tapos no need to pack and unpack everytime you reach a new port.  siyempre sobrang bitin yun time unless gusto mo maiwanan ng ship.  Sa food, pwedeng fine dining everyday as in kung kaya mo kainin lahat ng main course the menu, go ahead.  it's part of the price you paid.  kaya order kami lobster, beef, steak, all the expensive stuff para sulit.  nakakataba

Yun visa, mabilis lang.  Sa italian embassy lang kami lang nag-apply kasi longest stay namin in the whole trip was Italy. appearance not required.  kaya dapat complete lahat ng info when you submit your docs.   ang policy lang sa italian embassy, they will schedule you mga 2 weeks before you flight.  Di pwede earlier kasi they are managing the applications.  Kaya if promo fare ang habol mo, nakakaloka yun decision whether to buy pero no refund in case ma deny ka ng visa. or wait for the visa but pay more.  nakakaloka talaga.  it helps if you have other unexpired US Visas or other visas.  better ang chances na ma-approve.

costa cruise offers children free 17 years old down yata. maximum 2 child per family. sulit na din.
