What brand is your recommendation for luggage?

^For me, no. But of course heavier compared to their polycarbonate bags. I also have a set of their Topas multi-wheels and gamit na gamit ko ito compared to my Salsa and Bolero bags.

ang ganda sana ng aluminum but hindi practical for me kasi ang bigat (and i'm not willing to pay for over baggage )

^You're going to Europe right? Then buy there not here. It's way, way cheaper compared to here. I would not buy a Rimowa in Manila as super OA ang presyo dito. All my Rimowas I bought either in HKG (with staff discount) and Paris. No worries with the warranty since worldwide naman ang Rimowa.

Topas is aluminum. Salsa and Bolero are the polycarbonates. Difference between the two, the Bolero is a Salsa with a fabric pocket on the outside. For check-in luggage I would go for the Salsa since I don't need outside pockets in my luggage. For cabin bag, I would go for the Bolero since the outside pockets are pretty convenient for small items/documents that I need to secure without opening the whole bag.

ilang weight ang kaya ng 29' na luggage? some salesperson say 35 to 40kg, yung iba 25 to 30kg daw.

yung binili kong 36,800 na Rimowa dito. 550euros lang less tax pa sa Paris! Urrrgh! laki pala difference.

pero oks lang kasi iba pala talaga siya kaya mahal. nanghihinayang pa ako noon pero laking ginhawa hilain lalo na madami kang bitbit!

I have an medium American tourister for checkin and a delsey carry-on, the AT is still in good condition while yung delsey may problem na sa zipper but still usable. I've been using these bags for about 5 years now. I have another carry-on na nabili ko lang online na super cheap, walang brand, ok din naman. The colors of the luggage are too loud kaya parang ayoko na haha.
I'm going to buy na new luggage, 1 for check-in and 1 for carry on, baka AT at Delsey na lang din ulit.

I would love to spend on rimowa but when my large luggage needed replacement, I got a carlton instead.  This is supposedly a UK brand so it should be good too.  I notice lang na if hindi balance ang gamit inside, parang lumulubog in the middle.  It's my first time to encounter this, any similar experience even with different brands?  I got it a week ago lang.

based on expreienced hanapin mo [textspeak!] leather material ang ginamit. kasi kung plastic may possibility na it will crack during baggage handling kasi tinatapontapon lang nila yung mga luggage natin. AND, of course, pagbranded din + factor na din...
