What brand is your recommendation for luggage?

Using world traveller since 2008. Dahil around 3k plus ko lang siya nabili, kala ko di siya tatagal. I have been travelling for 2 times each year sometimes more than that, pero still working and looking good. Hindi ko lang akalain na tatagal siya Nasira lang yung lock niya sa gilid with the combination number kasi may mga travel ako na punong puno yung luggage, 30k ang laman kaya nasira, but im still using it since pwede namang ipadlock lang its black and madami ng gasgas pero usable padin hehe! pangharabas na bag

@pretty_B, bought my samsonite firelite 20kg for 34-35k. FYI, rimova salsa air: 10kg hand carry - 24.8k, 20kg - 26.8k, 25kg - 27.8k.

sis xtine, i realized okay na ako sa hand carry na luggage para kahit domestic flights lang magamit ko sya. kapag naman international flights nagchecheck-in naman talaga ako so, okay lang na 2 bag bitbitin ko. hehe.

Bought my delsey medium nung may 15% sale mga around 13k. Dati small lang palagi luggage ko but since I always checked in my luggage i decided to buy a medium sized luggage na para hindi na ako mahirapan in case may mga bibilhin ako pag small kasi i end up buying another bag minsan kasi hirap pagkasyahin.

We love samsonite. But I'd like to buy the ones na may wheels and pwede ring backpack - ang liit kasi nung samsonite nito e- panglaptop lang kasi.

rimowa would be the best choice if may budget talaga.  i bought something similar pero seque yung brand, so far, i have travelled twice in less than a year and long trips pa un, the luggage still looks decent enough that my sis brought it naman for her us trip.  bought din extra american tourister, same quality, forgot ano tawag sa matigas na uso ngayon.

Just bought American Tourister luggage. panay 10% off lang kasi yung ibang tatak, eh may 15% off coupon ako sa AT. hehe. it's a good deal na din siguro, i bought my friends with me nung bumili ako and sila na ang pumili. hehe.

gusto ko sana yung echolac luggage na white color. idk kung what collection basta yung mala-golf ball ang texture. ang ganda kasi. hihi.

I bought my Medium Brown Delsey sa isa sa mga grocery store lang sa Doha way back 2005. Pag kinonvert siya, mga nasa Php 4,000 lang. Ayun, hanggang ngayon buhay pa naman at kung saan saan ko pa siya nadadala at matibay pa din. Sobrang sulit.

I have 2 World Traveller (1 large and 1 small), 1 Samsonite and a large hard case I can't remember the brand of (cheap buy to transfer stuff from Cebu to Manila). Ok pa silang lahat. Bugbog yun mga large luggages kasi puno parati. I mostly bring Samsonite sa mga trips kasi pwede hand carry or check in. I love it kasi expandable and sleek yun design.

we are using Rimowa. I have three sizes (small, medium and large). then meron din akong small na American tourister na ok pang-handcarry. mas prefer ko gamitin pang-handcarry si American tourister than kay rimowa. wala kasi exterior pockets si rimowa while si American tourister meron. and travelling with kids, mas convenient maraming pocket para siksik at dukot na lang and nasa exterior pockets yung mas madalas gagamitin while on trip (wet tissue, tissue, extra diaper, pocket size alcohol, kids jacket, gadget usb charger. kaso lang taubin si American torusiter or baka lang mas kasi yung contents eh tumutumba paharap.. lightweight din siya..

^the Bolero series (or Salsa Hybrid) of Rimowa has pockets on the outside. I'm assuming you have their Salsa/Salsa Air series.

American Tourister is under Samsonite.
We have 1 each for the family hihi and all of them are still being used after almost a decade (1 is 9 years old and the rest are 7 years old).

I also have a freebie brandless luggage from buying perfumes. Funny lang kasi nakailang trips na yun pang harabas 3 years old na buhay pa din

For those who have Samsonite and Rimowa, do you also fly coach? Natatakot kasi ako sa experiences ng ibang kakilala ko either nasira yung luggage or may mga nawawala silang gamit kasi branded luggages.

I've flown on both coach and business class. Prior to 2010 all my bags were Samsonites, no pilferage or loss naman. Damage mismo sa luggage meron i.e. broken wheel/s and handles. Pero yung damage naman is due to baggage handling and not because meron gustong nakawin sa loob.

My current Rimowas (Salsa and Topas series) no pilferage but meron ng mga usual gasgas and dents due to handling. Di din naman kasi maiiwasan yun. Iniisip ko na lang it adds character to one's luggage. At least alam kong safe yung laman sa loob.
