What brand is your recommendation for luggage?

hi mga sis, i'm also looking for a luggage. I both concorde but after 2 trips, nasira din agad.. Gusto ko na din sana ng matibay pero pricey. Do you think ok ang Jansport wheeled luggages? may nakita ako sa ebay 4,550 e. I hope ok naman.

^^matibay naman ang pierre cardin sis. I got it kasi nagustuhan ko yung plaid pattern. Kaya lang medyo mabigat. My latest luggage purchase is same  as sis Charmed. An ultralight American Tourister na 15 kg luggage. Magaan talaga in fairness! Pero walang masyadong protection yung front nung luggage kasi medyo manipis yung front weave. Pero nice sya for me kasi magaan sya talaga~

It is Samsonite for me. Nalaglag ko trolly hand carry ko in an escalator in Genting, Malaysia with its puller extended but it survived with no damage. Another was when I thought I left my key inside the luggage, I tried destroying the zipper but it just wouldn't budge. I was getting depressed because I needed something in there, thankfully I found out that I didn't leave the key inside the bag after all. American Tourister is good too. And my Trunk 360 by Samsonite's wheels has also survived the abuses I made by pulling it in very bad terrain.

Im very tamad to fold and fix my things on the way back so Ive been using a trolley duffel bag.  Its light and very sturdy.  Mine held as much as 40kg once.

i wanted to buy a branded luggage but no matter how much one tries to take care of his luggage and put Fragile stickers on it, once it passes the conveyor belt, it will likely gain some damages or scratches upon claiming it. lucky if none.

ok ba talaga yung american tourister? hindi ba parang manipis yung zipper nya? nakita ko rin yung samsonite and delsey mejo expensive siya... pero meron din ako nakita na local brand Urban tatak meron na rin built in TSA lock mas mura at makapal naman yung zipper. Still undecided on what to get? ano bang ok at sulit?

just wanted to share...

usually i use a big samsonite for checking in and for carry on a small one from the same brand.

samsonite is good naman, been using the same set for 4 years na. the only issue with samsonite are the wheels, every trip i take, at least one wheel breaks, and though may warranty, they always don't have stocks, so we end up waiting a long time.

also, would like to share that i got a free luggage from citibank, i applied for a new credit card and they gave me a luggage from Rudy Project. if you buy it, that's actually 8.5k daw. so happy!

haven't tried it yet. but the brand is well known naman. and it is light weight.

Samsonite.  I bought mine here in SG.  Always kasi ang sale ng luggage dito.  So far I have

samsonite luggage xspace spinner - SGD250 (PHP8,250 --> sa landmark nung nicheck ko PHP16,000

samsonite polycarbonate carry-on bag (i forgot the model) - SGD250 (PHP8,250)

I like samsonite.  Though its only three year warranty.  The samsonite store where I bought the luggage shares the with american tourister.  I was supposed to buy american tourister kasi maganda ang style and design but the samsonite SA told me hindi daw matibay ang american tourister as low cost product sya ng samsonite.

I like Samsonite for my luggage. I wasn't able to go the Rimowa's flagship store in Munich. But I saw a lot of Rimowa's at other stores selling 10-15K less than HKG's prices. As in super cheap! Our friend who was with us just had to buy a pilot bag for himself.
