sis we bought this luggage @robinsons.. PATRIOT ang brand nya.. ang its ok naman.. matibay sya and stylish narin.. nasa 1400++ lang.. 25kilos... meron narin sya lock na number combination..

I use the Mendoza(a light pink one! Hihi) and Samsonite.

For local,  I have a bright blue Mandarin, which I've had for 5 years, I think it's giving up now. Hahaha. But I've used it to death already.

^Mahal if you buy here talaga. Buy in Hong Kong, better yet in Europe. In Germany where it's from lagi meron naka-sale. Prices there are 8-20K lower compared to here.

I bought a 4 wheeled luggage at robinsons ermita yesterday. Racini ang brand, 1899 ang price. 25 kls. Maganda sya.

^sis, okay naman to buy from local stores for your luggage needs. Basta reputable stores lang. I used to buy my Samsonites from Rustans, Landmark and SM. But for my Rimowas I buy them in HKG (I get 20% crew discount). Super OA kasi prices nila dito.

^^There are Rimowa stores at HKG's T2, TST and Central. Way, way cheaper to buy there compared to here. Better if you have a friend who works for CX, they can get you a discount. But of course it's still the best to buy in Europe, particularly in Germany. Lagi silang may naka-sale na Rimowas.

For me worth it. Aside from it's lightness (Salsa series), matibay din sya. Nakailang byahe na rin my Rimowas on a full load plus na-test din namin sa mga cobbled streets of Europe.

@mama squeak, it is really about the price. ang laki ng diperensya ng price ng samsonite between local stores and duty free.

^If you're talking about the price, yes definitely may price differences but not that much though. When I bought my Samsonite Sahora series from Rustans and compared it with the one from Duty Free a difference of mga 1K-2K lang. Hindi pa kumpleto yung sa Duty Free, laging out of stock. Mabenta siguro.

But if one wants to save more, for Samsonites buy in the US where it's from. Lagi silang may naka-sale. For Rimowas naman buy in Europe where it's made. In Germany, laging naka-sale sila.
