id like to ask if you have any feedbacks sa Lilliput Academy located near cherry foodarama qc. Im planning to enroll my 3 y/o son because its near our house and their reading program says "WE CAN MAKE YOUR 3 YEAR OLD READ IN 3 MONTHS" me and my husband are both bookworms and i like our son to be introduced into reading as well.

Hi sis^ yes its in tandang sora. Maganda curriculum nila before kasi the directress was a former teacher for the united nations in morong bataan. Mga students nila noon different races from american to vietnamese:) Doon nila binase yung program nila. Nursery palang ang kids doon nagbabasa na halos lahat. Mabait ang directress nila kasi you can talk to her talaga regarding your concerns at magkakasusundo kayo. Like in my sons case he is scheduled to meet with a gifted child specialist, she asks for update kung ano na ang balita tsaka willing siyang mag-adjust sa case ng son ko. Kilala niya talaga yung mga estudyante niya by heart. It's my sons second school year happy naman kami.
Tuition fee is aroun 29-32k depending on your scheme.

were you able to check out these schools? my husband is interested na kasi in enrolling our daughter to a toddler class. she'll be 2 this June. our main concern is her social skills.

i have the following on my list. These are the ones I have visited.
Brick's (no trial class yet)
DML (no trial class yet, but tatawid pako ng e.rod nito from our place)
Links (trial class was OK)
Raya
CHILD

I haven't visited Little Sandbox, this is also very near our place.

Facilities are nice at DML, Ample Parking Space, pero malaki population nya and school. I was impressed with the school facilities, meron sila basement auditorium, tent for school programs, swimming pool. The reason why i didn't get this for my little girl kase 2x week chinese lang, halos balewala, a schoolmate told me if i want her to learn chinese wala matututunan dun. Sisters are the teachers there. Pina ballet ko lang daughter ko this summer.

St. Mark's is a traditional school but with very good reputation.  Medyo strict sila when it comes to school visits kaya di kami nakapunta before.  I suggest you try to call them first to inquire para di masayang punta niyo.

Little Sandbox ba is the one in Tomas Morato, yung nasa may Amber's?  If that is it, then IMO, I didn't like it when we went there a couple of years ago.  Literal kasi siyang house na converted into a school, I mean they didn't even bother to make some modifications to make it look/feel more school-like.  The kitchen look like a literal kitchen na nilagyan lang ng mga chairs and tables to be use as a classrom then yung parang pinaka-sala nila may dividers lang para maging classrooms.  The general feeling I got was it's very disorganized.  And if I remembered correctly medyo mataas din tuition fee nila.  But to be fair madami din silang students.

Yup, I was able to visit the ones on my list. Pero as in visit lang and inquire kasi wala nang classes.

CHILD - was ok, the teacher had a detailed powerpoint presentation. But the sked doesn't work for us.

Links - Taga Bridges yung nag-assist sa akin, so kulang sa details.

Kidschool - Yung front ng house naka-convert to a classroom. Vertical class, snacks included. The school directress/teacher has many years of experience. Magulo yung street nila kasi ginagawa.

Little Sandbox - Hindi naman na sya mukhang bahay, maayos naman ang pagka-convert ng classrooms. I like that they have an outdoor play area, at maaliwalas yung dating nung place for me.

Kinderfield - I liked the place, but the sked doesn't work for us.

Raya - I was very tempted to enroll my son here because one of the founders was my professor in college. Also, they integrate more local elements into their curriculum and the medium of instruction is bilingual.

I noticed that these schools are very similar in terms of curriculum and the daily flow of classes (they all have free play at first, then circle time, etc.). The tuition fees are also comparable, except Bricks which was considerably higher.

For some reason I was really drawn to Little Sandbox. My husband and I showed photos of the classrooms and playground to our son and we asked him if he wants to go to school there. He said yes. We also drove by just to show him. The following day, we were with my parents and he told them about "his school" and that he wants to show it to them. This morning we went there to enroll and when we entered the office, the teacher said hi to us. My son, who has a tendency to be shy, immediately said hi to her. He was also trying to give his ID pictures to her. My husband and I were pleasantly surprised.

So my novel ends here. School starts on June 13.

Same experience with Links. Hindi knowledgeable masyado ang nasa office. When I went back, thats the time na may nakausap akong teacher who had the answers to all my questions. Naimpress ako sa behavior ng students sa class and yung security/assistance pag papasok or lalabas ang mga bata. They dont have that in Raya or Child? And guard sa Child may ka telebabad Bur the teacher I talked to was very knowledgeable complete with all the props ( leaflets, etc). But I wasnt happy when my child sat in for a trial class kasi hindi macontrol ng teacher ang
Mga kids. Sayang, magaling pa man din magpresent ang teacher about the school at may outdoor din
Sila. Si brick's kasi wala ano kasi nasa second floor?

 Halos sa likod lang ang little sandbox ng Brick's ano? Ang lapit talaga sa amin. Magkano na tuition nila? Thanks!

Right now I only have Gymboree in Trinoma on my list.. Would love it if you can suggest toddlers' schools that offer mandarin chinese class..  thanks!!

you can try gingerbread house of learning along congressional avenue sis they have a kindermusik program there too.

Finally, we found the school for V. We decided to enroll her in Brick's Place. It's along Roces Ave near Tomas Morato. Our main reasons are location, ample parking, nice facilities, great teachers and very accommodating and flexible sila sa requests ng parents. Mas mahal lang sya than all the other schools we visited pero I feel that sulit naman.

We had trial classes sa DML, too young pa daw sya. Sa Little Sandbox naman, mabait yung directress ang prob lang was schedule. And I really wanted an indoor play area just like gymboree. I already gave my feedback sa trial classes namin sa CHILD, Links at Raya.

hi, mga mommies.  do you know of a pre-schools po in the qc area that are still open ang enrollment?  i am thinking of transferring my son to another school because he refused to go to his existing school na.  i don't know what happened to him last Friday because all of a sudden ayaw na nya pumasok.  so now, i am scouting for a new school for him. 

yung sana parang gymboree set-up.  i called-up gymboree trinoma, closed na po sila for enrollment.  they will be open this coming November pa daw. 

help po, mga mommies :-(

^ Sis, how did the teachers respond to your son's refusal to go to school?  Hindi naman exceptional iyang ayaw pumasok, especially kung first time pa lang ng son mo mag-school.  The teachers should know how to handle this type of situation.

sis marose17, walang ganong masabi yung mga teachers.  when i told them ayaw ng pumasok ng son ko, the only thing they said was "ay, ganun po?".  i had to inquire pa how he is doing in school, has he been crying, etc. parang ang hirap kunan ng info nung mga techers. they said to give my son another month.  kaya lang, if he refuses to go to school talaga, pano ko yung 1 month magagawa? not unless i would result na itulak sya ipasok sa school. :-(

^ Medyo kakaiba ang response ng mga teachers.  Not encouraging.

Kaya ko nasabi iyan kasi with my sons din, may konting resistance sa kanila for a few weeks kapag ihahatid ko na sila sa loob, but not to the point naman na umiyak sila or ayaw talaga nilang pumasok.  Yung para bang inaapi sila kasi iniwan ko sila sa school.  Pero I liked how the teachers handled them from the moment I "delivered" them to the holding room (parents and caregivers were not allowed inside the classroom).  Talagang nakita ko ang expertise nila sa pag-handle ng mga bata, kahit yung mga umiiyak at nagwawala eh napatahan nila. 

Have you talked to your son as to why he does not want to go to school anymore?  Was he like that on the first day?

sa anak ko din sis may resistance. hanggang ngayon, kasama pa din ako sa classroom. haha. but she's only 2. you can try Brick's. They have a preschool too. Vertical nga lang ang class nila.

^^^Daughter ko din every morning umiiyak and she says she doesn't want to go to school pero pag papunta na, okay naman na sya. Ayaw lang naiistorbo tulog. Hehe... Pero this happened to her last summer. Nagtaka ako kasi bigla na lang ayaw na raw nya mag school. I talked to her teachers about it kasi inisip ko baka may umaaway sa kanya o may hindi magandang experience sa class, they said she's okay naman daw in class. She participates daw in activities. Sabi ni teacher baka wala lang sa mood, just like adults, may days na ayaw din pumasok (or bumangon pa nga for some).

Lenieliam, is this your son's first time to go to school? My daughter had classmates who had the same reaction to school. Like in 10mos of school, half of that the mommy had to sit in during class. Then 2 mos the mommy had to sit outside the classroom (tipo bang pagsilip ng kid the mommy should be there right outside the door). It was only in the last 3mos when na naiwan na ng mommy the little boy.

Maybe anxious Lang son mo. But yes I agree with the other mommies here. Bakit parang instead of offering solutions to your son's dilemma, the teacher made it sound like he's a hopeless case, even giving a 1mo "taning". or Mali Lang intindi ko? Are they forcing your son to move out after a month? Or just give it 1mo for him to adjust?
