^ My son din, who is 1 yr and 9 months, super iyak and ayaw bumitaw sa akin on his first day of summer class last april 11 sa ccdlc, until now, may tantrums and anxiety problem, pero d na tulad ng una na naka pacifier na eh, sige pa din iyak, then ayaw pa magpababa ng karga, tas ayaw magstay sa classroom.... ngayon tinatanggal na nya pacifier nya then nagpaparticipate na sya on coloring activities, tpos naglalaro na din although pag napansin eh tumatakbo pabalik sakin sabay yayakap... hopefully next week, mag improve pa lalo....

For preschools in QC, meron bang nag o-offer ng afternoon class? Between 1-3PM? Parang mas gusto ko pang PM class ang baby ko. tia!

We have just been confirmed of a slot for our daughter, who's 2 1/2, sa UP Kalinga Day Care Center (near UP infirmary), and she will be in the 1pm-5pm class, everyday. Dun yata sya sa young childrens group ( 2 to 3 yo). May 30 pa ang orientation.

Right now she;s attending the summer art class at UP PAUW. Dapat dun din sana sya sa June, kasi di pa sya abot sa minimum age requirement s PAUW, which is 3 1/2.

How is your son na, sis? I guess nakapag adjust na sya? Ako naman problem ko sa little girl ko, parang di na excited pumasok everyday. I already spoke with her teacher. Sana hindi sya ganito sa June. Kung lumipas ang bakasyon after summer class tapos ganyan pa rin sya, di ko na muna i-eenroll.

Sis, you can inquire in schools near your place. Malaki ang qc e, but if you're near mindanao ave, yung sch ng baby ko may 12 noon class daw sila for nursery ata.

im from fairview and my son gonna go to private school malapit samin... will finally have his summer class on monday for preschool, he's 3 1/2 ...kabado ako kasi medyo bulol pa sya plus tag-lish sya magsalita eh minsan napapagkamalan ng tao na gibberish but actually a valid sentence pero mixed english tagalog and sometimes spanish (thanks to Dora and Diego and Bob)...

haizt sana he'll do well in class naman at sana madami syang maging classmate.

^ sis aceofhearts, i've been scouting for schools in qc with an afternoon class also.  so far, its only gymboree in trinoma that has an afternoon class.  problem with gymboree though is that as of two weeks ago only 1 has enrolled for the afternoon class.  i'll try to check again within the day if there are other students na.  aside from gymboree, there's nest grade school pero mid-morning class sya (froom 11pm to 2pm) and pediahouse which is from 10:45am to 1:45pm.  hope this helps :-)

after several weeks/months of looking for schools, i am now inclined to enroll my son in nest grade school.  are there mommies here with kids enrolled in nest or who used to have kids in nest?  i would appreciate your feedback po before i enroll my son :-)

May daughter is in Carmel Child Devt & Learning Center near cherry foodarama in congressional ave. Marami rin atang schools na nago offer ng pm class but i guess depende rin yun sa enrollees. Marami akong nabasang schools from this thread with feedback pa. You can call them up and inquire para mapili mo yung schools na bibisitahin nyo. It could save you time.

Ok na baby ko sis, very adapt na sya sa class, in fact everyday nilolook forward na nya yun pagpunta school, pag umaga when he wakes up siya na mismo nagsasabi na "Kul, Kul" tas sabay susuot nya slippers nya lalabas ng bahay kahit na nakadiaper lang sya o kya nakapajama... kya wala nako problema sa pagpasok ng school nya and sa pagstay nya sa room, kaya lang di ko pa din sya naiiwan kasi nga hinahanap pa din ako tas sobrang lakas umiyak kala mo eh may amplifier yun bibig.,. pero kahit nsa room ako, di na sya nagpapabuhat o umiiyak maliban pag inagawan ng laruan o books o crayons na hawak nya... ngayon super enjoy sya sa school kasi pagpasok nya nag hihi sya sa lahat ng mga taong makikita nya then pag uwian naman lahat ng taong nakikita nya nagbabye sya... tas nagpaparticipate na din sya sa nursery rhymes nila at salahat ng activities kya malamang ieenroll na namin sya ng august after he turns 2.... maganda kasi yun sa ccdlc kasi no pressure on learning, talagang play and learn sila, and super fun sa mga bata... kaya mismong mga bata yun kumukusa to listen to their teacher tas gagawa ng activity... kaya di ko pinagsisihan na i enrolled my son as early as 21 months....

^If you think both schools are equal on most factors, you can ask your child's preference (I'm assuming you visited both schools with him).

Sis i had the exact same dilemma before summer classes. I was torn between these two schools too. I even wrote the pros and cons of these two schools because I was too pressured for time because the summer class was about to start then. Upon research, here's what i found out about these two schools:

1. God's Litl Creations
Very clean and new classrooms. Curriculum includes singapore math and singapore reading. Playground and school area seemed safe for kids. Tuition is lower compared to other preschools within the area.

2. Carmel Child
Very good reviews (need I say more? Hehe...)

I really considered glc bec of the reasons above but upon further research i stumbled upon a comment from a mom that it is not dep ed accredited (from momexchange). I had a hard time finding reviews for this school. Yun pala ang dahilan why i can't find them in momexchange school reviews. I found the comment under review from another school kasi she's commenting on schools within the area. Although may mga students din naman sila na nasa big schools na rin. Nasa flyer nila. So maganda rin siguro ang turo nila pero assumption ko lang ito. I cannot attest to this kasi hindi ko na dun inenroll daughter ko.

 I also considered my daughter's reaction when we visited these schools. She seemed at home at ccdlc, one of the reasons din why i enrolled her there for summer and we will continue til next school year.

help, mga mommies... i was about to enroll my son na sa the nest grade school along matahimik street when i chanced upon gingerbread house along commonwealth and kinderhaus along esguerra ave in brgy. south triangle.  both have afternoon classes (12nn-3pm).... any feedback po on these two schools?  btw, my son will be 3.7 years old by june...

hope to get your feedback soonest as kinderhaus has only 3 slots left and enroll is now on-going :-(

mamapeew - sis maraming schools ang walang deped accreditation some are now big shcools that have long been established. Hindi na nilang ginagawang priority as long as they know na they give quality education evidence yung mga na produce nilang graduates. Yung nga lang pag nagkaproblema ka di ka din makakalapit sa deped since di sila recognized. One should atleast have a permit to operate.

lenieliam - gingerbread house of learning ba yan sis the one in mindanao avenue? If it is the one classes are 3x a week only. They have mandarin classes. I inquired din kasi 2 years ago. Tuition was around 62k. Kinderhaus is mentioned in some thread backread ka. I dont know anything about the school since its far from us.  Hope this helps.
