Nice Stories about Yayas and other household helps

most of my yaya and kasambahay ay really nice to me and my family, isa lang ang di ko nagustuhan dahil super tahimik sya at di talaga nakibo, so i don't get to talk to her.  but all of them are super nice...pag may umaalis kaming kasambahay/ yaya umiiyak ako talaga sa room ko because i miss them kasi i treat them as a family member na rin.

i remember nung nagwo-work na ako i would always bring our kasambahay pag namamasyal ako para makapamasyal na rin sila then i will buy them something sa mga stores na pinupuntahan ko and kain sa labas. kaya pag may nadalaw sa bahay namin na dati naming kasambahay they will tell me stories na pinupuntahan namin na di ko na nareremember pero sila tanda pa nila. i feel blessed talaga to be with nice people in my life.

yaya ko more than 30 years na samin 32 years na ata...mapagkakatiwalaan lalu na pagdating sa pera siya nagbabantay ng store ng mama ko, kasi wala na siyang aalagaan samin 24 na yung bunso kong kapatid e 
di ko na nga lang siya makuhang yaya ng baby ko kasi maliit siya tapos 15 kg na ata baby ko 1 yr old pa lang kawawa kapag binubuhat nya.

medyo masungit lang minsan kasi matanda na din pero ok lang hirap na daw maghanap ng mapagkakatiwalaan ngayon...

My yaya knows my workout schedule and routine at home. Kanina, I was suprised na pagkagising ko, naka-ready na mga workout stuff ko sa living room

My trusted yaya came back from her vacation after 5 months. She said sorry na hindi sya nakabalik agad. Okay lang naman since may iniwan naman sya na replacement nya. What matters now is that I have someone I can entrust my kids' welfare when I'm at work. I'm so happy talaga

My son is undergoing ABA therapy and I always bring our kasambahay kasi sya na talaga nag aalaga sa son ko. Ayun, she likes it there! I mean, its a new experience for her kaya gustong gusto nya. She is learninga a lot daw and maganda daw pala sumama sa mga ganun kasi lumalawak pa daw ang knowledge nya.

Sobrang pro-active sya sa son ko since sabi sa therapy we have to be consistent. As in sya pa nag le-lecture sa mommy at lola ko about what to do. Take note, nag i-english na rin sya!

Arriving from her day off, the new maid brought home pancit palabok.  Nakaktuwa lang.

there was a time na i was super tamad to go out of the house.  i forgot its the due date pala of our water bill. funny thing, sakto lang ang money ko sa bill, which is 257.  i left it sa counter for our yaya to pay the collector. nagtaka ako she was rushing to her room.  i asked her why.  inabonohan nya daw my money kasi the bill daw is 267, so she added 10 peso.  i told her, sakto lang un, and the bill is 257 lang talaga.

it was a small amount, 10 peso.  it was not used. but the gesture really touched me. because for someone who doesnt have a lot, she extended her concern to us.

My mom's HH used to work in my grandma's household when my mom was a teenager, my mom got her again and she's been with us for more than 10 years.

My dad was recently hospitalized and needed a blood transfusion. The blood bank required us to donate blood (not necessarily his same type). We were scrambling trying to find donors, 4 candidates did not work out (high blood pressure) and when my mom told her HH, the HH insisted that she donate blood nalang! My mom was touched but didn't allow it since she's more than 50 years old narin.

our HH moved her vacation days to January instead of December. Considering it's a holiday month, the ticket fare is sky high din. Told her that I'm not happy with shelling out that much for her 1 week vacation she understood and moved it to better days. Everybody happy.

new yaya has only been with us for a week. so far, so good. she cooks too! while I do not ask her to cook or do any household chores, she has nicely volunteered to cook something for us during the weekend. masarap talaga. I really hope she stays long. ok din sya sa baby ko.

share ko lang din, when I was a kid, my yaya stayed with us for a long time. long enough that my mom actually paid for he tuition so she could go to night school. when she finished, she left. but she's kept in touch with me and my parents. she still attends our birthdays, sends gifts pag Christmas. nung birthday ng daughter ko, nag-attend sya and she also "sponsored" the birthday decorations for the party. I love her.

Nagsimba ang yaya ko at pagbalik nya may pasalubong sya na french fries sa mga anak ko.

Mag leave ang yaya ko sa October pero sinasabi niya na talagang mamiss niya ang alaga niya (bunso ko), lagi niya daw maiisip.

Nag exam ang 2nd baby ko at si yaya talaga ang nag effort gumawa ng reviewer with drawing pa, top 3 ang anak ko.

Master Degree sa multi tasking ang yaya ko.

Super love niya ang youngest ko at talagang feel na feel niya pinapatulog sa dibdib niya ang baby ko.

I love my dating HH.  Paglabas ko ng room sa umaga, nakready na ng food sa table. I'll just turn my plate and kain na.  Kung pwede nga lang pati damit ko for the day, iready na nya, or when I'll be travelling, mag offer that she'll pack my clothes pero di ko pinapagawa sa kanya kc I want ako magpack kung ano dadalhin ko for that certain travel.  Also, may malasakit sya.  Lights, electric fan etc are turned off when not in use, unlike mga iba na ang pag-iisip ay "hayaan mo na, di naman tayo nagbabayad eh".  When I'm sick, she makes sure na all the things I need to eat and drink to help me are readily available.  Like when I had the worst UTI ever, buko juice is always served for my breakfast and may pabaon pa sya sa akin na buko pagpasok sa work.  Like what my cousin said, I'm being served like a princess kaya nung umalis sya, super adjustment kami sa mga next HHs.  But atleast when I need her, I just text her and agad agad anjan na sya.

I;m sharing with you guys a story of a Yaya that stayed with me for a month pero I've known her for 6 months.  Malapit siya sa puso ko.

Hay, swerte ng amo niya sa HK.  I remember the Saudi woman who looked for her Pinay nanny now that she is grown up Mukhang love na love nya talaga yung yaya niya kaya hinanp at  dinalaw sa  Pinas.

I like our current houselp kasi they can adapt to our schedule and our common practices. Yung tipong di ko na kailangang iutos kasi alam na nyang hihingiin ko kasi kilala na nila ako. Gusto ko talaga yung may kusa.

My kids' long time yaya has pasalubong for the kids every week from day-off pero kanina nagulat ako kasi Forever 21 pants for dau and shorts for baby ang dala niya. She loves my kids talaga. Kaya madalas may dagdag weekly sahod niya from me pati vitamins niya and some kaartehan sagot na din namin. Our new helper naman super linis ng house lagi and ang sarap magluto. Kahit na pinapagamit ko ang automatic washing machine to make her work easier ayaw pa din. She is also very honest to give back mga naipit na pera sa pants. Mag6months pa lang siya sa amin pero am praying na maextend talaga siya para makawork akong mabuti with the 2 of them handling our home.

The eldest daughter of our house help will graduate this March, cum laude.
Tinanong ko sya kung may possible na umalis na sya since graduate na anak nya.
Ang sabi nya hindi daw kase meron pa siyang dalawang anak na mag-college.
Sobrang nakakatuwa kase nagsisikap sya na mapag-aral yung mga anak nya at yung mga anak din nya nagsisikap para mabago buhay nila sa future.

Sana I can find someone like that too.  So far mabait naman my yaya but she would need to eventually go back abroad.  Sa house naman, I've been nice to my former maid and she was not bad before.  Sana I can find someone na may kusa din, kahit man lang to ask me whether I would like to eat pag lunch and walang work.
