si Manang (Glo). may edad na pero ok sya. 3 months palang sya samin. sobrang bait. hindi malikot yung kamay - problem ko to in the past kasi kahit shampoo nawawala eh binibilhan naman namin sila ng shampoo. magaling pa magluto at matyaga sa pinsan ko - spoiled brat kasi pinsan ko e.

Our all around yaya gave me a present nung birthday ko.. pantulog.. last year bag (kahit na hindi ko nagagamit palagi pero it's the thought that counts).

after so many yayas finally nakahanap ako ng yaya for my dau (2 yo) na ititreat sya as her own, well yung yaya is 25yo single and no kids, lucky lang kasi she knows how to take care of my baby, and good thing is high school graduate sya, nakakatuwa lang kasi gustong gusto sya ng dau ko,. nakikita ko talaga na she really cares for my baby. going 6 mos na sya samin,. at ang gusto ko about her is that kahit hindi nya trabaho may kusa syang gumawa sa house, ( kasi we have hh naman which is her auntie ), so lucky to have her sobrang kampante ako pag wala ako sa house.

we have a maid before, bata pa siya ng namasukan sa amin around early 20s, then only stayed for 2 years and left us to pursue another job. I was still in grade school then so ang amo nya talaga is my parents.

She recently visited my parents' house and gave them chocolates. She also gave my mom a original Lacoste bag and she left a Benetton bag for me. Yun pala after she left us she got work sa casinos as a card dealer (sorry don't know the exact term for the job). Then she was able to apply abroad, and now she's based in New York! She found a loving husband too. Umuwi lang siya sa Philippines for a short vacation and visit.

My parents are so happy that she has a good life na. Well she told my parents na she owed it to them because of my mom's encouragements and their goodness. She promised to visit everytime she's in Manila. My mom's so touched, she's crying while making kwento to me.

My mom's current maid was also her maid when she was a teenager. We're super lucky to have her, she's quiet but masipag. She's middle-aged so we give her leeway if she can't complete her work sometimes - in some cases pa nga my mom tells her to only do certain chores for the day. She's not perfect though, she has a habit of telling us we've run out of something when it's gone na (like rice, dogfood, etc), but again we let small things like that go. I have even asked her to pay via LBC items that I've purchased online! She super loves our dogs too, to the point where she gave our male dog mouth to mouth when he was born kc he wasn't breathing! If I say na the dogs smell bad, she'll give them a bath right away. My mom told her that the condition to keep the dogs is that they remain clean and the house remain clean since we have allergies. She even caught a stray parakeet and kept it for a year. We finally donated it to our church's aviary and she cried pa. We'll bring her to our church one day so she can see the parakeet again hahahaha She remembers all our birthdays and no fail prepares misua or pancit - she even prepares it for her own birthday! 

We treat her like family rin, buy her food when we get take out, share any food given to us etc. I traveled a lot for work last year and would always bring back something for her - blouse, soap, cologne, etc. Now that I'm married and pregnant my mom sometimes brings her to our condo to clean (we don't have our own maid yet) and I give her 200-300 per visit. She's really excited too about my baby - telling me I should eat tofu para my baby will be white and makinis hahahaha

yung yaya ko noon nung maliit pa ako, mabait sa akin.  kapag pinapagalitan ako nung isang yaya namin, pinagtatanggol nya ako kahit pa pinsan nya yun.  kaya lang kinuha sya ng mama nya sa amin kasi magkakatulong na sa ibang amo, may utang kasi dun mama nya.

yun maid ko tamad magday off,,ako pa mismo nag iinsist sa kanya na mag day off sya to meet her siblings here in manila,,kya lang ayaw nya talaga,. so thankful din na mapagkakatiwalaan sya

yun maid nila hubby in their house in qc, sobrang masipag. malinis palagi ang bahay as in napakalinis. ayaw nyang gumamit ng washing machine pag naglalaba kasi hindi daw natatanggal ang dumi pag ni-washing. mapagkakatiwalaan din sya sa lahat ng bagay. masarap din magluto. at pinakagusto ko sa kanya ay dahil mahal na mahal nya ang anak ko, binibigyan nyang pera pambili ng laruan o di kaya damit kapag sweldo nya. she's 70+ na. 35 yrs in service na daw sya kila hubby, matandang dalaga.


pero kung may pros, marami din cons sa kanya:
una, masyado syang selosa, inggit na inggit sya sa mga ibang katiwala nila sil, inaaway nya palagi (ang mga katiwala na yun parang mga semi katulong na rin. kaso lang hindi sila nakatira sa bahay talaga. nandun lang sila pag narito sa pinas mga in-laws ko.)
pangalawa, madaldal sya lalo pag nanonood ng tv, maingay sya. di tuloy naiintindihan ang pinanonood. pangatlo, pag wala sila sil parang bossy sya sa ibang katiwala. and even hubby sinasagot sagot nya. yun lang ayaw ko sa kanya. Pero kung ipapa-rate sya sa akin from 1-10. 8 score nya for me dahil love nya anak ko.

Our Yaya takes pictures of our baby. Hubby and I are both working kaya madalas sila ng dalawa ni baby naiiwan sa bahay. Pinipicturan niya si baby habang naglalaro sila kaya when hubby and I get home, we can see pictures of our smiling daughter. Kahit papaano we get an idea din of how her day went

it's the kids exam week and last night I saw Yaya din reviewing. Sabi nya she reads the English-Tagalog dictionary kasi ineenglish sya ng kids. LOL Willing to learn pa si Yaya and to widen her vocabulary

about a month or so ago, one of the laundry cages in the building across from ours (we live in a condo compound) caught fire. 5/f yon, our unit is on the 4/f so parang ang lapit. the baby was having dinner when the yaya saw the fire through the window.

the went down to the ground floor and then called me to let me know. tapos yung maid bumalik pa sa unit to get clothes and milk for the baby. we told her next time wag na babalik sa unit kasi baka mas delikado.

happy na kami kasi at least they had the presence of mind and talagang welfare ni baby yung inisip din nila.

Si all around hh ang pinakagusto ko sa lahat ng dumating na hh sa amin. Kasi napagtyagaan nya mommy ko. Hindi sya abusado, unlike yung past hh namin. Sayang pinauwi sya ng mama nya sa province, sana bumalik na sya kasi wala naman daw sya work sa province. Btw, ika-1mo nya sana yesterday. Di pa sya umabot ng pasko dito

After a year of having the most Tamad, spoiled and super useless na maid finally I found one that's the exact opposite. My new maid is super sipag, Hindi mapili sa food and Hindi text ng text! She's been with us for just two weeks pero so far I'm happy with her work ethic. Okay din sila nung Yaya ko. I'm just hoping she would last

It's my yaya's 2nd week with us and so far ok naman kahit mejo naga-adjust pa si Zoe with her. My prob lang with Zoe is she's mejo suplada with our helpers kahit wala naman syang nakikitang ganon na treatment from us.

me na-touch naman ako sa yaya ng kid ko.  it was her 4th birthday last friday and yaya bought her a gift...yung panties na disney characters kasi she knows it's my daughter's fave

nung naka bakasyon si maid,siya daw ang nagluto sa kanila nung naiwan siya sa bahay..at ginaya raw niya yung aking recipe ng Fried Chicken..pwede nyo rin gayahin mga sisters kung hindi niyo pa nagawa..after pakuluan or maasinan o kaya lagyan magic sarap,dip ko muna sa harina tapos beaten egg,then bread crumbs with durog na red chippy hehe ..at ginaya raw niya yung aking recipe ng pancit..muntik na raw maubos ng mga pinsan niya hehe..sarap na sarap daw mga pinsan nya sa luto niya..aba dagdag points rin yon natuto siya magluto kasi kailangan niya yun.

natutuwa naman ako kay yaya kasi lagi nyang kinakausap yung 14 mo. old baby ko..i really appreciate na she makes an effort to teach my son new words...minsan kukunin nya yung board books ni baby sa playroom tapos babasahin nila sa sala..i believe this is also one reason bakit sobrang ok na vocabulary ni baby (ang daldal ). .there was one time lang na may di ako nagustuhan sa tinuro nya pero after ko mapagsabihan ok na...

si all-around helper naman di malikot ang kamay kahit na naiiwan ko jewelries ko nakakalat sa room di nawawala, kahit madalas naiiwan sya sa house...pati yung money na naiwan ko sa bag na limot ko na intact pa din
