Yaya of my 3yr old baby girl sobrang spoiled ang anak ko, once sumama ang mga anak ko sa kanya ng may inutos ako to buy something, and then pag uwi ng anak ko daming bitbit na snacks, then sabi ko sa baby girl ko, who bought her that she said ate neneng, wala ako money. I told her that I will pay her, then she said ok na daw yun.

WELL i have a maid before, she's lazy, the type that you have to dictates and spell out the chores she has to do,, but her saving grace

she's  good with my kids and her honesty..

one time, we went to HK, DUE to time constraint i forgot to give her an extra cash for the food and worst i forgot to lock my drawer and left the keys behind.

i was gone for two days and she told me that the money i gave her was not enough so she told my son who was 7 at that time to get money from the drawer coz  i left my drawer open and  , i almost fainted coz my jewelries and cash were there,i checked it out and saw it was still intact,,,

grabee she could have run off with the cash considering it was really huge amount plus the jewelries ,, but she took good care of my household and my 2 kids...i wanna kiss her...

i remember im teary eyed and she told me, mabait ka din kasi maam

good thing bought her a pasalubong... ;D

she's no longer with us and i wonder where she is now,, but i will never forget her honesty,,, :)

share ko lang yung naging friend namin sa japan nung nag training kami dun. super nice lang kasi ng story nila ng amo niyang hapon. she was an entertainer daw before pero nung nagkahigpitan she has no other choice but to go back here sa pinas. paguwi she joined daw sa mga pyramid na later on a ng scam sa pera niya super iyak daw siya nun kasi she's a single mom. gang nakilala niya nga amo niya now sa baclaran church daw where siya tinda sampaguita  na hold up daw dun yung hapon together with her daughter, hinde marunong mag english kaya siya nakipag usap cinamahan niya daw magtaxi hannggang hotel she even gave money pambayad ng taxi galing sa benta ng sampaguita since nasa room pa pera ng hapon den after that rest is history sinama siya papunta japan para maging yaya ng anak & ang pinaka magandang part kasama yung anak niya dahil wala na nga mag-aalaga since single mom siya. she was there for 15years already.

kakatuwa lang kasi as in nagkakaiyakan pa sila ng amo niya habang kinukwento nila samin yung pangyayari. sabi pa ng amo niya i'll die w/out her.

kami din we are very lucky to have a very dependable, smart and loving yaya. We had her when my youngest is only 2 months old. Ngayon 3 years old na ang anak ko and my 2 kids really love her. She is so maasikaso and may kusa, no need to ask her to do something kasi magkukusa na siya. And so smart din kasi minsan dami kong for pick up ng courier and iba ibang courier siya, never siyang pumalpak. Love niya talaga kids ko and even my parents who stay with us at nakikita siya every day magtrabaho, two thumbs up sa kanya, love din siya. So sad lang paalis na siya kasa padating na yung boyfriend niya na foreigner and they have to process their travel papers na. Sana man lang makakita ako ng kasing okay niya..our best yaya so far talaga.

I feel really lucky to have my current yaya. She's quite young pa (17 years old) but she's very hardworking and caring to my daughter. She's also proactive, bihirang-bihira ko mag-utos sa kanya kase pag she's not doing anything, naga-ask talaga sya saken kung ano pwede  nya gawin. She also takes time to read to Zoe and teach her things like close-open without me telling her.

Pero I give her extras and encourage her to go out sometimes with our other helper. 2 weeks ago, I gave her extra money kase nag-off yung isang helper namin and sinama sya, sabe nya ibawas ko na lang daw s apay nya yung binigay ko. Sabe ko naman it was just an extra something for her. On her birthday in May, we're thinking of buying her a cellphone. Eh she gives half of her money to her mom kaya I know na mahihirapan sya makabili. Basta ang usapan namin kelangan mag-remain yung attitude nya ngayon on cellphones na she'll only use it when she's not attending to Zoe. Mukhang hinde naman namin magiging issue yan cus for the longest time I thought wala syang phone cus wala ko nakikita or naririnig until nung nabanggit nya samin.

Yung nakuha naming yaya ni Amber nakakaaliw. Tomboy kasi siya at may girlfriend. She asked me kung pwedeng pumunta sa bahay yung gf niya pag off nung gf, so I said yes kasi hindi naman big deal sa akin yun as long as maalagaan pa rin niya si Amber. Nagulat na lang ako nang pagdating ng gf eh may dalang food, ulam for that day and the next day namalengke ulit for the ulam. Whenever I say na bibili lang kami ng ulam ni hubby she would say na, "may ulam na ate brendz, bumili si kate". So, I said ok. And from then on, lage na siya nagdadala ng food. Syempre moneywise, ok yun nakakatipid kame, haha. Kaso syempre I see to it na I also share kapag nandun siya kasi baka kung ano ang isipin. OT ba ito? hehe. anyway, they are good to me and to Amber so ok siya sa akin.

our yaya for 3 years left last Sunday kasi she'll be processing her papers na for Australia. Touching naman kasi i really saw how she took good care of my kids. Sabi nga niya she treated my kids as her own daw at mahal na mahal niya kaya namimiss niya agad. Kami din naman namimiss siya pero sabi ko naman we all know she'll have a better life in Asutralia and in the future naman she'll be taking care of her own kids / family naman. I am really so lucky that we had her for 3 years.

These stories are heartwarming. :)

For us working mothers, reliable and honest househelps are lifesavers.  They are our 'extra limbs' to allow us to do so much more. :)

Back in Bacolod, my mother-in-law (MIL)'s househelp would even wait outside their house for my hubby or his sister when they stay out late.  When sister-in-law got pregnant out of wedlock, she felt my MIL's pain and cried with her.  MIL told me she never lost anything, not even a hairpin all the years she served their household.

Manag left their household and worked for another employer but she went back to work for them again.  Now it's the same manang who helped me look for a new yaya to replace our present yaya.  Actually, she said marami raw gusto pumasok but she was our one-woman screening committee. :)  Even her relatives whom she cannot vouch for didn't make the cut. :) She picked one, a mother of 3, same age ko and she worked for hubby's family na rin pala years ago when she was still single.  Haaay, prayers ulit for a good relationship with a new yaya.

Nakakutwa reading all of your nice stories - sana makahanap ako ng yaya na okay.  the one that I have is so-so, she said she's experienced BUT parang ang daming di natatandaan.  Maasikaso siya kay baby yun lang, she's set in her ways na tipong she will make yabang her work before and her past amos - basta hindi connect!

Tapos she's super proud that my baby is her 29th alaga!  To think she's only 37 and started working at 20!!  tee hee!...

I hope I can post a loveable story!!

BTW - all of my mom's helpers, super love ko sila - they're like family to us na :)  Reward namin is we buy them TV, dvd players etc :)

^If I may ask, what's your yaya's name?  I hope it's not Aileen.  :P  Ganyang ganyan kasi yung previous yaya namin eh which I kicked out after just a couple of months with us.

My yaya isnt perfect but I love her to bits kahit minsan sumasablay. I really appreciate how she takes care of my daughter especially these past couple of weeks na sobrang busy ko sa work. Our other helper recently left and she's neve rcomplained about anything but we make sure to help her out and that she has enough time to rest as well.

I ranted a couple of times about her but hinde pa din matatawaran ang bait and sipag nitong bata na to. I treat her like family and I hope that we can continue this kind of relationship for the years to come.

kasama namin sa bahay is my cousin she's just 17 years old.. napakabait na bata.. masipag, hindi cya mahilig sa cellphone.. ginagawa nyang lang atang radio cp nya..:) matyaga sa bata.. mahilig sila sa kwentuhan ng anak ko ( my daughter is 3 years old) pag pinagagalitan ko anak ko sa kanya sya tumatakbo.. nagpapakampi kaya i know she love my daughter..
