May solo travel ako this year! Nov 6-8, Kota Kinabalu. Nov 8-10 Brunei. Tapos Nov 10-13, Jakarta. I'll meet the rest of my friends sa Jakarta, pero mauuna ako kasi gusto kong maraming mapuntahan sa isang trip lang!

sisters, is it really okay and safe to travel solo to boracay? haven't been there kasi and i really want to unwind and just relax, kung may malapit na beach sana sa manila na madali commute and safe okay lang, kaso parang wala akong maisip... anyway, kung sa boracay, from airport ba (which is better caticlan or kalibo), from there ba pano punta sa boracay? tricycle lang or van ba? tia!

boracay din solo travel ko this august. from caticlan airport kung masipag ka maglakad malapit lang [textspeak!] sa port. first travel ko na walang itinerary.. (^_^)

I traveled solo in Italy last year, before I went to grad school. I'm planning to travel solo again somewhere sa Eastern Europe or Turkey maybe next year. *crossing fingers* sana matuloy.

Solo travel offers FREEDOM. You can do what you want at the pace that you want. There may be disadvantages - like no one to take your pic and no one to watch over your things while you go to the bathroom, more costly, etc. But the advantages definitely outweigh those disadvantages so much.

Solo travel gave me the guts to just book tickets during seat sales - no need to consult other people. Yan ang date, sale ang ticket, game na! Sumama ang gusto sumama!

This year for me is about solo travels. Traveled solo to the following places thus far:

1 week in Singapore
1 week in Thailand
2 months in the US - Covering San Francisco, Seattle, Los Angeles back to San Francisco, Las Vegas, NY and then back to San Francisco

Correct! Sis.  People keep on asking WHY did I travel alone and they find it weird... But as you said, The feeling of  Freedom and Liberating.  And I don't know but it also give you a confidence.  Thanks sa mga GT sis who continue to give tips, advice and encouragement.

Yes, I'm looking forward going solo to  my dream destination, Europe!  Budget na lang ang kulang.

I'm planning on going solo trip sa October in SG or HK. Do you know how much would be a good pocket money pag nandun including hotel accommodation and food (granted wala akong makita na kakilala na matutuluyan )

if u're in tight budget, HK is cheaper than SG. i've been in both and i did solo travel in HK last year. i enjoyed HK a lot and ill visit again HK next year! for my solo trip last year, its 5 days 4 nights and i stayed in a guesthouse, the whole trip cost me 15k excluding ticket fare only.

Yes, travelling solo is not bad at all. Mapupuntahan mo lahat ng place na gusto mo puntahan. Ayun lang wala masyadong pictures.

I had experience travelling solo in Beijing, Macau, HK, and more to come.

I think solo travel is a real different and cool adventure, is a good opportunity to have a good joy with yourself and learn about new cultures, see things that you never saw in your country, you know, different and cool experiences that you can have only visiting other countries. I used to travel alone a lot, about 2 years ago, and I have nothing to regret, but well, if I will suggest some place that is a truly a unique one this place will be Rio de Janeiro in Brazil, South America and some Caribbean Island.
