I was supposed to do this last year sa SG when the earthquake and tsunami in Japan happened. Pero this year, I am seriously contemplating it.

i also bought two vouhcer at p2,580 each. malamang sa cebu ko nalang gagamitin. sayang kasi since july ang punta ko sa bora which is low season baka makakuha akong cheap acomodation dun kaya sa cebu crown ko nalang gagamitin.

Sorry for the late reply sis. I stayed at Island Nook Hotel Totoo nga na Boracay is a good solo travel place. Maybe because of the bohemian beach spirit. I met a lot of solo travelers din, puro foreigners

Saan ka magstay in Boracay?

I'll be going to Cebu din Dec6-9. Kung walang makakasama, magiging solo travel ulit

Ay sis panu mo namit [textspeak!] ibang solo travellers,  lalapitan ka ba nila? Or theres a place in boracay na dun nagpupuntahan mga solo travellers....

Im planning to do this solo travelling and i want to start in boracay sana para at least friendly environ muna hehe....

Just booked tickets to Dumaguete-Siquijor for my first ever solo trip! Wooohoo!

Question, dun sa mga nagsolo trips sa beach, how did you secure your belongings? I'm planning to do a day trip to a beach, so walang hotel room na mapagiiwanan ng gamit.  Mahirap naman magswimming na dala ang camera. Unless underwater camera... ?

kelan ka punta ng dumaguete-siquijor? ill be there this march too. baka pwede meet up para share tayo sa cost ng land tour. sa siquijor kasi, you have to rent a habal-habal for 700. mas cheaper if i have someone to share the cost with

Mga sis, advise naman sa itinerary for a 2 days or 3 days trip to Davao and Samal Island.

I have unused return tickets kasi that would expire on March 10... naisip ko lang na mag Davao kasi di pa ako nakapunta dun & gusto ko naman ma-experince Mindanao, hehe.

Kaya lang I have no idea on places to go to, how to get there, and most importantly, where to stay.

Help please?

i'm from davao city!

pag within the city ang gusto mo, try this:

- crocodile park
- japanese tunnel
- sto. nino shrine hills
- jacks ridge (better at night) -- resto at coffee shop siya overlooking davao city
- night life -- torres, matina town square (try mo [textspeak!] halo-halo dito), damosa
- people's park - this is just another park pero since andito ka na rin, go ka na lang.

the best part is samal island because of the beach. if you want a white sand beach na di pa na spoiled  ng modernization, go to isla reta. its better kung may kasama ka para may ka share ng cost. but if you want an accessible beach pero masaya, you can go for:

- paradise island (5 mins away from davao port)
- maxima (not so much on the beach pero madami kasi siyang attractions like one long slides, 15 ft diving board, at hanging something (i forgot the name)
