Solo Travels (Thread 2)

nainaj, trust me. it's not as hard as you think. lampa akong babae. taon taon akong naoospital, pero kinaya ko activities sa Sagada. lakas lang ng trip! gow gow! kayang kaya mo yan!

i did Sagada alone, awa ng Diyos buhay naman ako.

that's my 1st ever solo travel. wala ng pacute and easy destination. hard core agad. ganun din naman yun. solo traveler ka pa din =)

if that wasnt encouraging enough for a novice female traveler, i dont know what is methinks gagayahin din kita, hahaha! how many days were spent for the trip?

@ frothe, actually super madami ka pwede puntahan esp if you're alone since wala ka iisipin na preferences/inhibitions ng kasama mo. cebu is a good place to start. davao is also good. somewhere north naman ilocos. hth

Thanks sis @helga21. I've been to Davao many times.  Maybe I would try Cebu or Ilocos.  Sana hindi ganun kagastos when done alone.

OD, im sure you can do this too! hardest part is 1. convincing yourself and 2. go out of the house and ride the bus
after nyan, easy na. magugulat ka. hehe (dami dami pang mental preparations, simple lang naman pala)

have been travelling alone but never tried sagada kasi when i went there with a group, mejo nahirapan ako what more pa if alone. and i thought i was brave enough already. i'll definitely prepare for my solo sagada adventure! thanks for inspiring!

^ me! sa Pagudpud! yes priceless ang quiet me time sa beach, on my bday BUT I admit, nainggit ako sa mga pamilya na magkakakasama kumain, at mga barkadahan na nagjjumpshot sa shore.

hindi ako fulfilled sa solo travel na to. kasi naman unexpected to, naiwan lang ng plane yung kasama ko.

San pa kaya magandang mag solo beach alone? yung pwede pang overnyt lang tsaka yung malapit at kaya talaga ng newbie solo traveler hahaha. Para mag outing ako mag isa pag naaasar ako sa bf ko hahaha TIA sisses :*

solo beach - the best na syempre ang Boracay. you don't need to go far to another island just to do beach bumming alone.  the island is too busy too kaya hindi ka mabu-bore.

For the solo beach experience, I'd probably try Magalawa Island on a weekday.

Magalawa island is in Zambales.  They even have a facebook page.

I travel alone here and there but not really to explore and get lost in a city. In September I am going to Italy for 10 days and I hope it would be more than 10 days. It will be part of my Eat, Pray, Love trip.

^Oooh! I Like that! Maybe you can share your travel tips in Italy in the European thread after? Right now I'm planning our Italy itinerary next year spring or fall. I've alloted 2 weeks for the trip.

Weekdays there's a higher chance na solo niyo yung buong island.  Weekends kasi there are more tourists.  It didn't stay hidden for long after a few people blogged about it.

i see, still will opt for weekend para hindi na din masyado hassle mag-leave sa office and besides ang naisip ko kasi, mag-isa ka nga mag-travel but you may also welcome new friends or buddies, meet new acquaintances, something like that..
