^so he'll be in kinder 1 na? TF is Php41 + plus books of 2 +. that's for whole year payment, pag installment may additional charges pa ata. subject to increase pa din ang quoted rate. better call them para malaman mo how much exactly.

Inquire ko lang sana I am from Taguig and I have my 4 yr old son, Gusto ko sana malapit sa area namin para di ako worried, based on this thread Integrated Montessori Center - cost:  Junior Casa 1 47-50k sounds good at pasok sa budget namin, Question is more on English po ba teaching nila? yung anak ko kasi nasanay mag ingles last time kasi pumasok sya sa school sa province napansin ko medyo Out of place sya kasi di sya makarelate masyado sa usapan..

I would prefer sana school that practices speaking in English.. Please suggest po?

Play LAB sounds interesting din worried lang ako sa transpo baka po wala mga service going to school..

You can inquire at csa makati, its near taguig area, from bgc you can go straight ahead to forbes then dasma..

Hi sisses, any feedback on Kids Playlab in SAV Makati? How much ang tuition fee nila and what are the inclusions. One time payment or they have installment basis (like 2 payments).

Mataas kaya passing rate nila sa mga grade schools such as Xavier, LSGH, Ateneo?

I wanted to enroll na my son this June he's 2.7 yrs old, but hubby said maaga pa, best time would be JUne 2014. If June 2014, when kami dapat mag inquire sa Kids Playlab, mga summer of next year ba so we can reserve a slot for him?

For now, sa Gymboree muna sya. He just finished his Learning Lab class last March.

hi there prettyarcher when i paid for my daughter's reservation in Playlab (P5000) last feb 15, 2013 i was able
to get a 10% discount, and if you book on a later date you will get 5% discount nalang, so i took advantage of the
10% and reserve for a slot. take note that only 3 slots left and no more slots for the morning sched so i had no choice
but to take the afternoon sched mabilis mapuno yung slots because limited lang talaga yung kids na pwede nila i-accommodate. Yung 10% discount ko i only have a total of $53,000 (i rounded it off na) that is for an everyday class.
tapos yung 5% discount almost P58,000 na this is for cash basis but if installment like monthly aabutin ng P60,000

and yes, they have installment basis, cash, 2 payments, quarterly and monthly. TF includes 3 sets of white polo shirt with school logo and other school supplies.
passing rate sa big schools? that i was not able to ask them but i believe they produce smart kids, and the teachers were graduates of lasalle according sa nakita kong
certificates sa office when i did my ocular inspection.

my son belongs to the 3rd batch of graduate of kids playlab (kinder level).  in their batch they were 6.  2 were accepted in CSA, 2 in Don Bosco Makati, 1 in La Salle lipa batangas (i have no idea dun sa isa nyang classmate).

yung last year batch, 4 kids (1 in St Paul pasig, 1 st. paul makati and 1 was homeschooled but this upcoming school year the kid was accepted in don bosco mandaluyong for grade 2 level, yung 1 kid wala din akong idea).

i hope this stats may give you an idea...

thanks for the idea about the acceptance rate in big schools. I am still half hearted if i will enroll my daughter
in playlab for kinder, she's nursery 2 level kasi this coming school year. pero im still yet to find the outcome. i am eyeing
assumption san lorenzo or st. paul pasig for my daughter.

@ceejhei sa lsrk din nag nursery  daughter ko. then, sa playlab na sya nag kinder..

i wrote my feedback at lsrk na on my previous post, why i transferred her.
i have no problem with my daughter's study habit and learning skills naman. My concern is more on her social skills. She's not that friendly kasi.
The first few days, parang i wanted to pull out my daughter at playlab. They were only 6 in class and she's the only girl. Since she's a new student, she doesn't have friends pa. So, she prefers to play alone. She always come home sad and asking me to pull her out from that school and transfer her to another one. I talked to her teacher regarding that matter. What her teacher did is, she introduced my daughter to kinder, nursery 1 and nursery 2 class. hehe.. That's the time she gained friends and enjoyed going to school. 


My daughter passed the interview and exam at OB and St Scho.
Medyo nahirapan sya sa exam ng St Scho since it's more on reading. Good thing she passed it.

For those looking for pre-schools pa in the Manila-Makati area, we went around these schools:

1. Kiddie Minds

* Tuition: 32-35k
* 10 kids per class
* Progressive
* Found the school too cramped though and medyo not so organized yung stuff. Then again, maybe because it's summer pa and they're still fixing the classrooms :p No waiting area for yayas or guardians.

2. Kids Avenue
1279 P. Ocampo cor Del Pilar St. Malate, Manila (near Aling Nene's)

* Tuition: 38k inclusive of books and supplies
* 10 kids per class. 2 teachers per class.
* Progressive
* Classrooms were more organized than Kiddie Minds. This is a bit like a house turned into a school. No guards. Yayas and guardians have a waiting area outside.
* Subjects for Nursery are math, reading, science and language

3. St Lucy Integrated School
2608 Bautista St. cor Vito Cruz, Malate, Manila (near Becky's Kitchen)

* Tuition: 33-37k inclusive of books and supplies
* 10 kids per class. 2 teachers per class.
* Traditional
* Subjects for Nursery are reading, phonics, math, writing
* Classrooms were very nice and organized but not airconditioned. The place looks very secure and they have strict policies regarding picking up students. Only accredited people are allowed to pick up your child.

4. Betty's Bellarmine
Cuenca St., Palanan, Makati City

* Tuition: 39k (tuition only, no books of supplies included)
* 10 kids per class. 1 teacher per class. Although when I asked kung puwede sumingit, they were going to allow my son to be the 11th. So I'm not sure how strictly they are enforcing the limit.
* Traditional
* Subjects for nursery are writing, reading, language, math, science and computer
* Nicest facilities out of the 4 schools. Fully air-conditioned classrooms. They have a big multi-purpose hall with a playarea for functions. They also have an accredited school bus service

5. Little Archers Mall of Asia (not Manila or Makait but near us kasi)
1F Selecta Universe, Mall of Asia
* Tuition: 82k ( no books needed, supplies included). This price is valid til may 31 only daw.
* 10 kids per class. 2 teachers per class.
* Progressive
* I haven't visited them yet. I called them lang today.

My eldest went to Betty's Bellarmine. They're very hands-on specially sa nursery students. My mom's house is a few houses away from the school, now all of my kids are studying at their Pasay branch at Betty's Vermillion Academy since malapit sa amin. Betty's schools have been there for 40 years na ata. They're traditional but since konti lang ang students dito ko na sila pinag-aral. Ayaw ko ng marami in a class and medyo mura naman ang tuition also.
