Does anyone have a feedback for Colegio de sta. Rosa? It's nearer to our place than St. Paul's and mukhang maganda naman yung mga nakalagay sa website nila. I'm planning to enrol my eldest here for Grade 1 next school year. TIA!

Its a nice school also sis..same lang din sila ng tuition halos ng st paul..uhm, mahirap lang ang parking, kasi nag inquire kami noon sa labas pa kami nag park, katakot..so sa san agustin na lang kami bumagsak..try mo rin inquire sis sa csa, sa loob ng dasma..konti lang din difference ng tf..mas mahal konti sa csa..

Yesterday I emailed Hope Christian Makati (Along Pasong Tamo Ext), here's the info.

The following are the requirements for Pre-school applicants:
 
    Age requirement:
    Pre-Nursery    -    2.6-3.5 by June
    Nursery           -    3.6-4.5 by June
    Kinder             -    4.6-5.5 by June
 
Tuition Fee:    P97,700 (annual)
Mode of payment:    semestral
 
Other requirements:
- Secure a copy of the application form from the registrar's office
   or download the application form from the school's website (http://www.makatihope.edu.ph/)
- 2 copies of recent passport-size picture
- Clear photocopy of NSO birth certificate
- Clear photocopy of report cards (English, Chinese)
- Application fee (P750)

my daughter is 3 yo and I plan to enroll her na next school year. I want small preschool muna then when she gets in primary, tsaka ku sya pasok sa big school. Im considering KIDS or Kids Playlab. For mom who have started scouting schools, how do I start? SHould I call them first and schedule an appointment and bring my child na din for a trial class? Is this a good time na? Need your inputs and your experiences like when and how did you actually started scouting for a good preschool for your tots.. tia

better you request for a trial class this jan to feb.  kasi kung march baka mahirapan ka na kasi they'll be busy for moving up activities. 

you can also consider having your child have summer class on these schools to assess further if your child ready to go to school.

^ hi anhing, last year i have enquired around 1st week of February. Isa din sa choice ko ang Playlab but i enrolled my daughter to a different school which i regret later on, next school year ill transfer her to either Playlab or KIDS. =)

Based on my experience nung nag ocular kami ni hubby, okay ang Playlab kasi small student-teacher ratio mas natutukan sila. and progressive school pala ito. i haven't tried doing an ocular at KIDS, sa feb ulit siguro.

before enrolling my daughter in KIDS, we had trial classes at Kids Playlab too. okay sana sya kasi mukhang ok yun place and small yun teacher-student ratio.

One of the reasons we went for KIDS is them having some sort of outdoor play area that is always manned by either the teachers or the yayas. Another is mas homey yun feeling sa KIDS and I felt comfortable speaking with the Directress - Teacher Mina. When we had our trial class, she actually was not able to spend too much time with us as she was constantly going around and checking even participating in the different classes. We thought nung una parang for show yun but when we noticed that most if not all the kids actually talk to her and approach her, we felt that that is what we were looking for in a preschool. =D

KIDS is on top of my list, next is the Kids Playlab. I have to do phonecalls this week and schedule oculars and trial classes sana on the weeks to come.

One more question, so say for example I chose KIDS na. Do they require some sort of a reservation fee (if so, how much) or parang sa CSA, once you get in you have to enroll na agad?

Hi mga sis. I'm also a mom who is scouting for a school for my son. He's turning 3 yrs old this March. Ang hirap maghanap ng school lalo na sa Makati kasi pricey ang tuition fee. I'm interested in KIDS and Child learning center kasi it's near our place and walking distance lang.

Does KIdS do progressive teaching? Hyperactive kasi [textspeak!] son ko and I think mas okay ang progressive sa kanya rather than traditional. Medyo maiksi kasi ang patience nya. Do you know kung magkano ang tuition fee nila sa KIDS? [textspeak!] mga nakita ko kasi na post mga 2011 price pa. Thank you.

^sis sa KIDS around 60k if you pay quarterly, please correct me if i am mistaken or around those figures.  Playlab last year is at around 55k around that figure

There is a 5000 reservation fee which will be deducted upon enrollment.

I just called KIDS, and TF if 61K & 2K reservation fee (deductible from tf upon enrollment). they will also allow 1 hour seat-in for a trial class.

Will schedule a trial class for my daughter next week..

We're kinda torn right now, looks like we're transferring house and school is a major factor if we'll push through.

My daughter is scheduled to have her written exam in st. scho marikina next month, her report card was checked before entertaining her for oral exam since she's only 4 and currently enrolled as prep in a traditional school.  She was accommodated naman since she has 96+ average.

I just inquired at IMC and looks like age is a factor on where to put her - advance or junior casa.  I would want her to be in the advance casa but she'll not be 5 until july.  Will wait na lang until February for the oral/written evaluation.

CSR has specific age din.

^sis parehas na yatang 6yo ang grade 1 ng ssc at csr. Bago kasi naimplement ang k+12, 6yo ang grade1 ng ssc tapos 7yo naman ang csr.


@sale seeker, sis ok pa naman sa don bosco makati. 2 anak ng kaibigan ko dun nag-aral simula prep. Yun isa engineering student na ngayon sa dlsu, yun isa nasa mapua. Yun pamangkin ng husband ko grade 6 naman dun ngayon magaling rin na bata lalo na sa math.
