Hi mga sis,

Have you heard about Internationatal British Academy Homeschool Programme? Rates is 20k per year per child.  It is DEPED recognized so, you will get records should you decide to move the child to a regular school.

I am torn getting TMA, VCIS or International British Academy.

Baka any homeschoolers here have some reviews re IBA and VCIS.

^hi sis, I would suggest you attend their homeschooling intro/orientation so you would see if it will fit for your needs. I'm also a home schooler mom with TMA. My suggestion for first timers to do home schooling you get a provider so you get to know how it is structured like in TMA may academic consultant and family advisers to guide and assist you then after sometime if you can do it on your own you can transfer to other providers with lesser fees, less tedious reqs.

iceebaby - hello momma, i am also eyeing IBA if i homeschool ko na yung baby ko. and medyo malapit din kasi kami dito, so pwede ako pumunta directly if i have questions, actually not really malapit pero ito yung nearest school na may homeschooling samin.

BTW, i saw your signature, and you're also a working mom? I am a full time working mom kasi, and my husband and I mutually decided to homeschool our daughter. sana lang kayanin padin ng super powers ko mag homeschool. hehe! any tips?

usually kpag mga AOP, SonLight, A Beka curriculum online purchase ng books but minsan if your homeschool provider carry their books you can purchase from them.

Hi katrinac, I am also full time working mom sa corporate world and homeschooling mom din to my 5 yr old daughter. Kaya naman lalo na if supportive si husband. Hindi naman kailangan na matagal yung homeschooling tapos I concentrate talaga muna sa 3Rs habang Kinder siya (Reading, Writing and Arithmetic). Mga more than an hour lang ang structured homeschooling session namin kasi Kinder pa lang siya. Am enrolled with Peniel :-) God bless sa homeschooling!

mga hm kaya yung TF for Grade 4 student sa CFA and TMA?

Natapos ko rin yung pagbabasa sa from page 1 to page 14! So many inputs and sobrang nakaka encourage.
I decided to homeschool na my 9yr old son next year. He doesnt want to go to school anymore since he has poor grades and performance. Yun na rin siguro ang factor kaya ayaw na nyang pumasok sa regular school.

I know parang late na sa homeschool but I will do my best to provide the best way for him to learn.

I inquired sa CFA and reasonably priced naman sila. Nag email ako sa kanila and sumagot sila after 2 days yata. For grade 4 this year eto yung price nila. Tuition and misc fees is 21,675 plus texbooks is 5-6k.
TMA hindi oa sumasagot sakin eh ilang days na akong nag inquire. Wala ring sumasagot sa phone nila.
Planning to attend the VCIS orientation on November 4. Any idea kung how much yung tuition fee nila?

^sis, di ko na matandaan pero parang nasa 30K sa TMA, wala pang books

sumagot na ang TMA yey! they will have an orientation on Nov 13 8:30 am to 10:30 am. Will attend the orientation.
Eto rin yung sabi nila regards sa tuition fee
"The family (tuition) fee as of  SY 2015 - 2016 is PHP 30,000 and PHP 5,000 for each additional child."

^ sis, pede mo din iconsider ang Peniel Integrated Christian Academy, cheaper yung fee nila. 15k ata for gradeschool.

but they guide din ba yung mga 1st timers sa homeschool?

^ok naman sila kausap thru text o email... nagCFA kami umpisa, kaya lang me mga curriculum kami na gusto kaya naghanap kami ng homeschool provider na pede kang pumili ng gusto mong gamitin kaya nagTMA kam..ok naman kami sa TMA, medyo di na lang kinaya ng finances namin kaya lumipat kami sa Peniel. ang isa palang nadidinig kong problema sa TMA medyo matagal sumagot thru email ang ibang consultant. 1st yr namin ngayon sa Peniel...sana maging maayos, kapag hindi, balik kami sa TMA

Yes, yun lang medyo matagal lang sumagot ang TMA talaga. kahit nung inquiry stage ko pa lang parang inabot yata ng almost 2 weeks yung reply nila sakin hindi ko rin ma-contact yung landline nila. anyway will attend their orientations.

Meron na palang nagmention rito ng CFA. I am also interested to that. At least my job is homebased naman probably matutukan ko kid ko. Malayo pa naman but as early as possible I am planning already.

I am interested in homeschooling my son..nag inquire ako sa peniel through fb messenger sumagot naman po sila agad kaso hindi pa daw pwede yung kid ko sa kinder..5 yrs old daw dapat, my son will turn 4 pa lang this may 

Sino po nakaka-alam kung kailan merong orientation and assessment si CFA? medyo namamahalan kasi kami kay TMA. By the way, si VCIS affordable din - for my kinder 1 son around 12-13k ata with book/s na siya.

Mga sis. id like to ask po. ano po ba much better na homeschool for my 2 gradeschool boys, san po ba ako makakamura at maganda for them? kasi sa TMA if i understood correctly, 35k for my two boys na and sa Peniel 15k each child, tama ba? pero ano po ba ang mas maganda of the two. and we are from Palawan po pla but ill start working in BGC by february so im considering na dalhin kids ko and ihomeschool sila. im a single mom btw. thanks in advance for any input.

^ sis, sa fee halos parehas lang magagastos mo...ang medyo pinagkaiba lang nila ay me quarterly test ang Peniel na pede isubmit at the end of the year , sa Tma naman ay mayroong quarterly portfolio review, depends sa location. kapag Metro Manila, sa office nila ang review kapag province o bang bansa, thru Skype naman.

I think I will push na yung sa VCIS. kasi for grade 4 is 8000 lang for the books, free yung Tuition fee for the first yr. kasi sa TMA is 30-35K + 6K to 8K na books.
VCIS is using BJU books.. may nakapag try na ba sa inyo? I am scheduled for an parents orientation sa VCIS of Feb 3 wala pang fee yung orientation/ seminar unlike TMA.
