^ay, sorry no, he is not (or if he is, I wouldnt know).  Our company has medical benefots for dependents.  It includes dental treatment/consultation of dependents but does not include orthodentistry.

We are super duper happy with Dr. Eric Hernandez. Yes, a bit pricey but even my dentist cousin recommend him.  Fortunately, our insurance covers his services.

But you just said your insurance covered Dr. Eric's services? I'm just intrigued since Dr. Eric is a pediatric dentist and aside from those HMOs offering reimbursements rather than coverage, specialists are not usually covered---even consultations.

^Dr. Sis, yes, our company has a group health insurance for the employees' dependents.  It covers medical consultations with doctors and dentists of our dependents, as well as hospitalization. So, what I do, is just submit the OR from Dr. Eric and submit the same to our HR for reimbursement, together with the form signed by Dr. Eric, which is provided by the insurance company and which asks the doctors to indicate details about the consultation.  In other words, I advance the amount and the insurance company reimburses the professional fees and medicines I paid for.  Sorry for the confusion.

sis ratacutie, I think sis tinmuning is aking for the name of your company's HMO. hindi man direct chinarge ni Dr. Eric sa HMO card nyo atleast makakareimburse ka.

We're also looking kasi for pedia dentist na macocover ng health card namin. sayang naman kasi..

^I'm sorry, it is NOT an HMO, it is a group health insurance policy. Please note how I described the process of claiming reimbursement from the insurance company.  Unlike HMOs, health insurance policies reimburse the expense and do not directly pay the doctors.  Sorry for the confusion and I hope this clarifies the matter.

We had an appointment with Dra. Kristine of Borough Medical Clinic in MOA. I used our Maxicare cards and na-clean naman yung teeth ng mga chikitings ko. Pero for extraction na sila and kailangan daw sila patulugin.

Advise niya sa Pediatric Dentist ko na raw dalhin, meron daw sila dun, pero yung iba proceudres daw eh hindi na covered ng Health Cards, medyo mahirap daw mag-pa-appointment. I forgot to ask the Pedia Dentist's name, tatawagan ko na lang sila.

I'd like to know ano yung covered sa Maxicare na gagawin sa teeth ng mga kidlets ko, if gagastos din ako malaki, I'll bring the kids back to Dr. Jay (Tooth Fairy) na lang, super comfortable yung kids ko sa kanya.

we go to Dr. Georgina Roa-Remulla sa clinic niya in Alabang and satisfied naman kami. our baby is 3yo and it's her third visit na sa kanyang dentist. first visit with Dr. Remulla, medyo umiyak ang baby namin but I guess that's pretty normal. Dr. Remulla is patient, she takes time to explain kung ano ang kelangan gawin and how it should be done. Second visit naman our baby cried a bit but not as much as she did nung first visit. Last saturday was our third visit and no cry na si baby. As in we didn't have a hard time at all. Higa lang siya and she waits for Dr. Remulla to finish with what she's doing.

Dr. Remulla charges 1, 500 for cleaning & fluoride application. Naka-schedule ulit kami next week kasi merong kelangan pastahan na teeth si baby and ayaw sabay-sabayin ni dra kasi baka ma-overwhelm daw si baby. Sayang naman kasi nakiki-cooperate na siya. For the pasta, she charges 1,200 per tooth daw.

May pediatric dentistry training ba yung dentist ng Tooth Fairy? Kasi may earlier post na nirefer nung Dr. Jay yung patient to a pediatric dentist. When I asked the poster why, hindi naman nagreply.

How come a lot were raving about Tooth Fairy being a pediatric dentist kung hindi lahat ng pediatric dental procedures e ginagawa niya (hence the need for a referral). Can somebody clarify if he is indeed a pediatric dentist or a general dentist who happens to treat a lot of kids?

hi mommies na nagpupunta ke Dr Jay of toothfairy, ask ko lang if nakokontak nyo pa ba sya now? lung lumang number nya na 458... e unattended na, apparently yung officemate ko before patient nya din at me bago na ngang number, kaso puro ring nman, hay magpapasched sana ako sa knila ng weekday e, super hirap kc ng weekend nila. kung alam nyo po ang  bagong number paki, thanks :-)

^^Try going to Dr. Garret Robles. He has a clinic in Philcoa and St. Lukes (according to him, he charges cheaper in his Philcoa clinic). Came across his name when I was searching for a pedia dentist in QC. Was supposed to bring my kid there but we opted to go back to Dr. Vismanos' clinic in Banawe.

anyway si dr. eric hernandez, dun pa rin ba sya sa medical tower (amorsolo) or lumipat na sya ng st. lukes? sabi nya kasi 2 years ago baka raw lumipat sila... saka would you know magkano na yung basic cleaning with flouride nya..
