Hi, anyone who knows a pedia dentist around Quezon City?? Yung di gaanong mahal at subok nyo na sana.
This will be my toddler's very first visit to a dental clinic kasi.

My 4 years old daughter is candidate for
4 front teeth extraction,
4 molars for pulpotomy and crown and
4 molars -sealant
that costs 36,000 plus 12,000 anesthesiologist total of 48,000 pesos.
si Dra. Georgina Remulla po ang nag suggest nyan upon seeing the panoramic x-ray of my daughter.
The Lolas are super kontra. Old school kasi. they keep on telling me baby teeth lang yan and tutubo din. hayaan ko lang daw na magkusang matanggal Sa part po ng anak ko napastahan na yung 3 ipin nya ni Dra. Remulla. after 2 weeks Ok then biglag may lumabas na gumboil. im not sure if gumboil, maga or bukol. pagkasabi ko and sa pagkaka intindi ko sa suggestion ni Dra. Remulla, The cavity reach the deep aprt of the tooth na and need na extract or pulp. Makikita daw nya sa periperal xray while sedated yung anak ko kung ma save pa.
now here the worries:
1.) IM-IV sedation -ano po ang effect nito sa anak ko? totoo po ba magiging makaklimutin sya. yan kasi sinasabi ng mga Lola. ambata bata ,agiging makalilimutin na.
2.) yung paglalagay po ng silver crown sa 4 na molars ng anak ko, wala po ba possibilty yun na matanggal tapos malunok nya? and kung sakali po diba pag hindi pantay ang pagkaka lagay nun stainless crown ay sasakit din?
sa ngayon po nag request ang pedia ng anak ko ng cbc and urinalysis bago ang procedure, after that, once cleared tuloy na tuloy na kami sa Sedeation and Procedure. kahit magalit na sa akin ang mga Lola

Sana po maging Ok ang Work ni Dra. Remulla. Kaisa isang anak ko po ang nakataya. kaya ganun na lang ang takot ko.

^the same procedure was done to my child before when she was the same age. nagpa quote ako sa Abesamis Clinic dyan sa Festival Mall (i think almost P50k ang quote that time), then the last pedia dentist na napuntahan namin before was Dra Remulla as well. ka-e-explore, i ended up inquiring sa Pediatric Dentistry sa Banawe, QC, when we went there for the dentist to check on my child, I learned that Dra Remulla is one of the consultants there. Kaya hindi na rin kami nag hesitate sa procedure. to make the long story short, nagpa-sched na kami and the procedure was done there, and only paid around P35k. 

now my child is 7 and so far ok naman sya. pag dinadala ko sya sa dentist, excited pa nga eh. and super proud na ipakita sa dentist nya ang mga naaalis nyang milk tooth.

yung crown sis, hindi maalis yan kasi dinidikit yan sa milk tooth eh.

actually my child was even a candidate when she was just almost 2yrs old, natagalan kami ng husband ko magdecide dahil hesitant rin kami sa gagawing procedure. hanggang sa dumami na ang sira at lumaki na rin ang gagastusin nung nakapag decide na kami. at the end of the day, kayo pa rin ng husband mo ang magdedecide talaga.

Hi sis, landline ni-cocontact ko pero walang sumasagot. I wonder why? I tried calling Sat and Sunday, once I called them on a Monday ata pero walang sumasagot ring lang din ng ring.

Also, pwede ko ba malaman sis san banda sa SM sila? Kasi lagi akong sa SM north nagtataka ako hindi ko man lang matunton itong clinic nila. Thank sis~

Hi all. Pinacheck up ko si baby 4 yr old little ones cleaning and flouride cost 2300 then need daw 2 teeth extraction and 3 pasta thru sedation pero hindi naman cya nagquote then after 3 weeks try q sa ismile then all was beeing explain to me so check up uli si baby endend up no tooth extraction root canal gagawin to save his tooth so aun ang quote 20k fkr sedation and 68k sa procedure for 17 teeth.. can be lower down if extraction daw but as much as possible is saving teeh daw... anyone enlighten me if okey ba sedation ...

Hi mga mommies, I just want to share my story with my son. I've been reading and searching dito regarding sa sedation so I want to share mine

My son who is 4 years old last year pinaclean ko teeth nya. pero alam ko na madami sira teeth nya since lagi babad sa milk. So we have one in tooth kingdom in megamall. Then suggested din ni pedia dentist  ang sedation since madami gagawin sa teeth nya. di ko pinansin thinking na 7 years old matanggal din ang teeth nya. Then sumakit teeth nya so another pedia dentist in ismile BGC. Quoted as 86k for all including the anesthesiology. Magaling mag explain si doc paul as in pina intindi nya talaga pros cons and all that. We were planning na ni husband ko na  under sedation na si baby since December my bonus ganun kasi kawawa lagi masakit teeth nya.

Then I started researching so dito ko rin nabasa ang Pediatric dentist center in Banawe then I set up an appointment last May 2018. Cleaning for my Son 4 years old and 3 years old daughter. Naisip ko kasi sedation dito mas mura so papagawa ko na. We had Dra gania she explain it all well so bale lahat bagang 4 sides up and down left and right is my baby rooth canal each then may mga pasta pa. yung 4 front teeth na pudpod di na daw gagalawin since baba n daw yung teeth nya according sa xray. So she quoted us 46k something that includes sedation and anesthesiology. Then if resident daw ang gagawa less 40% so total around 34k. Another option na sa kanya ko lang narinig is oral sedation my chocoloate syrup lang daw then wala injection pero di pa rin daw alam ng bata. 3000 per syrup but each side lang ang magagawa since 30mins effect lang so for 4 sides will cost 12k versus 16k for IV sedation.

we decided IV sedation na para isahan at di na balik balik. We had schedule na ng June 19. Then my clearance na ipacheck up muna namin kay pedia few days before na procedure.

June 13 nagpunta na kami kay pedia then she advice us na ayaw daw nya hanggat maari ang IV sedation so nasabi ko ang oral. She advice us na un n lang daw at tyagain na lang namin balik balik. So I follow her advise kaya naresched ang son this July na since wala ng slot

I choose na Dra Gania and hindi na resident kahit wala na 40% off since i was thinking na 30minutes lang so dapat mabilis lang at gamay na talaga. at per punta naman namin so hindi ganun kabigat bayarin.

July 23 scheduled Oral sedation 2days before 5th birthday of my son. 7am nasa PDC na kami my pinainom na na syrup then after 20 minutes parang antok na son ko pero ayaw pumikit sabi ni doc umeepek na daw then check ang teeth nya yung bagang is need na extract since di na kaya ang root canal. Then she advice na pag kaya pa idamay na daw nya ang upper na root canal at pasta. So I say yes. Then during the procedure lumabas yung assistant sabi sa kin idamay na rin ni doc isa pang extraction sa taas bagang kasi kaya pa naman daw. Di naman kasi nagwawala ang son ko, again I say yes basta kaya.

After like 40 minutes so loob ng operating room tapos na then nilipat na siya sa recovery room. may kagat bulak kasi nadugo pa teeth. All nagawa 2 tooth extraction 2 pasta 1 baby root canal. Sa left side nya yan both up and down na. Total cost is 11k. So sa next visit is right side naman and one session na rin since kaya naman daw ni baby.

After nagexplain si doc ng mga expectation, after 2-4 hours daw wala na manhid so baka sumakit, wag daw masyado eat pwede din daw masuka. So the whole day is bantay lang. So around 10:30am umalis na kami kumain muna kami sa daan nakaubos ang son ko 2 pancake gutom siya ayaw ko nga sana madami baka sumuka. Pero wala naman kahit dumating kami house wala lang nung hapon na nagplay na siya kaya pinag tab ko na lang kasi tumatalon siya while playing eh kakabunot lang teeth

Overall I can say mas okey at naging oral sedation at ska it helps na sinasabihan ko siya before procedure kaya very behave lang siya. Nagpasched na kami next month kasi sana okey pa teeth nya at walang extraction kahit mas mahal ang root canal mas okey at hind madugo.

Wow brave naman ng son mo sis! Pineprep na din namin daughter namin for monday. Hindi naman siya takot sa injections so ok lang. Excited lang siya magpabunot kasi kakain siya ng ice cream after hahaha!

Concern ko lang is first day ng school sa wednesday so one day lang rest niya. Though sabi naman ng anesthesiologist pwede na magschool. 14 teeth aalisin sa kanya eh. So anim matitira. Ang mga bata mas matapang pa kesa sa ating mga parents ano?

Hi Sissies! Oral surgery ng daughter ko went well. Ang galing kasi walang pain siyang nafeel nung nagising siya.  Parang walang nangyari. Mas lumakas pa siyang kumain. Back to her normal self na agad. Kinabukasan nakakakain na agad ng wafer.

Sis Pretty_aye nakarest siya ng whole day. Nakakatuwa ang bilis ng recovery

Hi sis. Anyone knows a good dentist here in san pedro laguna or alabang na ok makipagdeal sa toddler na 3 years old at affordable naman? Hilig sa milk ng anak ko at ayaw din magpatoothbrush. Nagpapabrush lang kung may sakit maramdaman. Dami ng bulok na teeth ng anak ko gusto ko sana ipacheck bago magpasukan.

^taga south din ako, pero sa Pediatric Dentistry (Banawe QC) ko pinagawa yung sedation procedure ng anak ko... I was quoted almost P55k before sa Abesamis, but ended up paying P36k in total.

^Sis pwede na dalhin baby mo sa pedia dentist. Hindi ko alam anong age dapat pero baby ko around 1 year 5 months sya nung dinala namin. Marami-rami na syang teeth nung time na yun. Sabi nga rin ng dentist nya buti raw dinala namin ng maaga.
