My son's dentist is Dr. Joni Ann Jo of the Pediatric Dentistry Center of the Philippines (PDCP). Ok naman experience namin sa kanya.... Before our consultation with her, madami na pala sira teeth ng anak ko. I was not aware of Pediatric dentistry and how important milk teeth are... buti na save nya lahat, yung 5 teeth linagyan ng silver crowns. the rest, pasta lang. my son had to be sedated. Dr Joni Ann was very particular on preventing psychological trauma so that my son will not develop fear of dentists....

I've been looking for a pedia dentist near our place. Kailangan na kase ulit ma-check ng teeth ng daughter ko. Last time we had it checked she was a year old pa lang, 2.5YO na sya ngayon e. We brought her to a pedia dentist in PCMC pero di ko sya masyado feel. Wala na kasi sa mood baby ko, pinilit pa nya pa-open yung mouth, super iyak tuloy. I'd like to try that Tooth Kingdom this time. How much fee pag i-check lang teeth?

^ P500.  I suggest palagyan mo na ng fluoride para sulit the trip.  P1250 kasi the fluoride application, inclusive of the check-up.  Mabilis lang kasi ang check-up, count lang yung teeth, linis ng konti and if walang problem, that's it.

Dr. Jay of toothfairy is good. He was able to clean (using the machine) my 3 y/o daughter's teeth without any hassle at all. And it's only 250 with free fluoride na  .
Sa first dentist experience nya na-trauma talaga sya. 1 1/2 pa lang sya nun and the dentist had 2 people hold her to open her mouth. So imagine ang horror ng bata! She was a pedia dentist daw ha. I paid 1,650 for that experience, but sware never to come back again.

It's better to make an appointment para hindi kayo mag-wait.  Dr. Claudette Raymundo is there kapag Sunday and may weekday sked din yata siya but I'm not sure which day/s.  There's also Dr. George and another girl na pedia-dent.  Lahat sila from UP College of Dental Medicine.

Hello po, how much po and nagastos niyo sa anak niyo for everything, including the sedation? Kasi [textspeak!] baby ko, 20months pa lang siya, and may tartar na sa 4 front teeth niya. Ayoko na sanang lumala pa...thank you.

1st check up ng anak ko who was 1yo at that time was at PDCP, okay sana bumalik dun kaso ang layo because we live in cainta..

baka may ma suggest kayo pedia dentist in pasig/ortigas/mandaluyong or cainta area..?

Most of the problems ng mga parents is yung phobia ng bata sa dentist. Let's admit it, not all parents have the means to bring their children to a pediatric dentist, and I mean yung trained na pediatric dentist and not just those who just attach the term "pediatric dentist" to their name without even having proper training.

Ang pinaka-importante sa lahat is orient the child to have a positive outlook on dentists and dental procedure and make toothbrushing fun for them para maengganyo sila to do it regularly. Maganda rin na hindi magkaroon ng phobia ang bata sa dentista kasi minsan unknowingly e contributory tayong mga magulang sa pagkatakot ng bata sa dentista.

sa sobrang likot ng 21-month old son ko, nabasag yung lower part ng isa sa upper front teeth nya last friday. He was playing with his kuya when it happened, sabi ng father ko (he was the one taking care of him that time) nasubsob daw sa floor. buti na lang hindi nagbleed lips nya, okay din gums nya. pero i was really, really sad. The following day we went to tooth kingdom SM The Block ( I've read the post of sis marose17). Buti n lang Dr. Claudette Raymundo was available, timing naman kasi wala naman kami appointment.

She was so nice talaga. Thanks sis marose17 for your post. She explained the options very clearly. Nagpacleaning na rin and flouride application. Walang naging problem, sobrang relaxed lang si baby.
