Sis. Marose, thanks for the info about Tooth Kingdom sa The Block. I will get an appointment for my daughter. Actually she used to not have any phobia with dentists, but i dont know kung bakit after nearly 2 years of having regular visits with a clinic in SM, all of a sudden ayaw na nya. Eh she's having tartar build-up pa naman sa front teeth, so it's very important to get it cleaned para ma-save.

 I hope here sa tooth kingdom mare-restore yung confidence and comfort nya with dentists..

I really have to bring my son there since there is no way that we can have the tooth filling and putting a silver crown without sedating him. Does anybody here have their kids sedated? Is it safe? Kasi when he had his accident, nadapa siya and tumama yung gums and all his front teeth,
tinamaan, pumasok, maga ang buong mouth niya for almost a month, kaya nasira halos lahat ng teeth niya.

Nahihirapan son ko kasi, di na rin siya makakain ng maigi, even now, that okay na yung teeth and gums niya.
And nagrereklamo na rin minsan sa pasulpot-sulpot na kirot ng teeth.

Kaya next weekends, may appointment kami with Tooth Fairy.

Sa mga nakapagdala na po ng kids nila kina Dra. tayag et al, (sa Pediatric Dental Center) how much po ang consultation fee, extraction, root canal procedure nila?

We went to Tooth Kingdom kahapon and met with Dra. Veron Junio. The thing is, yung ngipin ng niece ko needs a lot of work to do (extractions & root canal with capping to protect the incoming permanent teeth) and I agree na it would be better if done with one sitting, via sedation. Kaya lang almost 50k po ang quoted amount na aabutin (including the sedation fee of 10-12k from pedia anethesiologist). Siguro dahil nasa The Block ang clinic kaya mahal, maybe we can lessen it naman sa Pediatric Dental Center? TIA po.

Hello mga fellow momsies! Meron lang akong questions... I need to bring my son na kase to a pedia dentist ASAP. natanggal na kasi yung teeth nya sa harap nung nadapa sya then ngayon nasisira na yung teeth? ayaw kase talagang tumigil nung son ko sa pagdede. I tried once(for a mo yata yun), kaso napapansin ko parang nagloloose sya ng weight hindi naman sya kase ganun magana kumain... kaya ayun napilitan ako ipabottle feed ulit pero as much as possible "twice" a day lang. tapos after nun puro water. then brush ng teeth talaga lage. Waaa. kaya i need to consult na a pedia dentist kung anong pwedeng gawin sa teeth nya( sana hindi naman ganunn kalaki yung gagastusin? wala bang nagbibigay ng installment??? hehe.)... nakakainis kase bakit kase hindi ko pa sya pinacheck dati pa.. haaays!!! sabe kase nung iba hayaan lang... arrgg! kaso ngyon madalas na sya nagrereklamo na masakit yung teeth nya...

my daughter has stains on her teeth and i really need to bring her to the dentist soon. kaso we've been practicing kasi for her to open her mouth when asked, ayaw talaga minsan so i'm really worried that she wont when we get to the dentist's clinic. pero iniisip ko din, siguro naman sanay na yun mga pedia dentist with mga ganun na scenario and they might be better equipped to ask my daughter to cooperate.

Pag pediatric dentist kasi talaga may kamahalan. As a dentist and mom, what I can suggest na if limited budget, have the first 2 or 3 dental appointments done with a pediatric dentist. Very crucial kasi the first 2 or 3 visits para hindi ma-trauma yung anak mo.

Better to schedule the first dental visit of the child while the kid is not yet in pain----hindi kung kelan may masakit nang ipin or may namagang gums kasi for sure traumatic ang first visit nun.

Mabigat lang sa bulsa at first pero if you're really on a budget, the succeeding appointments can be with a general dentist na lang provided na puro cleaning and filling ang kailangan.

paid a visit to Dr. Jay of Tooth Fairy last Friday AM.

he was very nice. very accommodating. my bulilit kasi is less than 2yrs old so im kinda nervous of how she will react to a dentist since its her 1st time.

he even explained how he can look over my bulilit's teeth since she's still small to sit and hold still on the patient's chair by herself.

he also explained the bulilit's tooth problem. bulilit's one front tooth is blackened already. this is caused by trauma raw. in layman's term its pasa na ng ipin. which eventually is the reason why its now dead. yes. dead na ang isang front tooth ng bulilit ko.

he gave us a referral after all the explaining he did. tapos hindi nagpabayad. he doesnt require payment daw for simple consultations lang. if he really did some procedure tha'ts the time lang daw.

i definitely recommend him to the mommies who have smaller kids too!
