According to my friend who is based i Brunei, they do accept SG dollars there. Same value lang daw.

i agree, nagulat pa ako that they gave me singapore dollars in change when i bought drinks and food at CBTL pinoy pa employees and they have Jollibee

Help naman, I have a few questions regarding Brunei.

Okay ba ang location ng Brunei Hotel or Centerpoint? Which is better? And pwede bang mag-book ng mga tours in Brunei na mismo. Will be staying there for 2 days lang and may kasama akong naka-wheel chair so I think better if we take a tour than cab around. What do you think?

Also, how far is the airport from the hotels in BSB area? Pano ang transpo dito aside from cab? (early morning arrival, taking Cebu Pac flight w/c arrives at around 1:20am and will leave Brunei at 2:40am).

Other than cabs (which are sometimes unmarked) - there are the purple public buses.

We stayed at Brunei Terraces but I really don't recommend it. It was expensive and old.
It was also quite creepy. It seemed like we were the only guests in such a big hotel.

sis foruiz, you may wanna check The Times Hotel (http://www.timeshotelbrunei.com), kakabukas lang to last year, so amoy bago pa talaga. hehe this is a 5-minute drive from the Airport.

You can never go wrong with Rizqun International Hotel, and The Centrepoint Hotel. malapit toh sa shopping centers ng Brunei.

Yung tita ko nakastay na rin sa Brunei Hotel, malinis naman daw. and malapit naman toh sa Yayasan Complex and The Sultan Omar Ali Saiffudien Mosque.

There are cheaper hotels like Grand City Hotel, LR Asma Hotel, Goodview Hotel.

Pero kung ako tatanungin, pinaka ok ang Empire Hotel talaga. Yun nga lang mahal. pero sulit naman talaga. Hehe

^Nice talaga sa Empire Hotel kaya lang malayo sa center/shopping area. Okay lang siguro if you plan to just stay and relax the whole time sa hotel. I love their pools!

^yun nga lang, malayo talaga sa city. sayang ang Jerudong Park hindi na ganun kaganda, malapit sana sa Empire yun. Kumbakit pa kasi may bayad na, na dating free ride-all-you-can naman. hehe

Nakapaglibot ako sa Empire Hotel, at totoong maganda sya. Nakakarelax dun!

^operational na uli sis. pero hindi sya ganun kaganda like before. super saya nung dati, para syang EK but the rides were 10x better. and want-to-sawa talaga, dahil libre. hehe

sa KB ka pala dati sis bratty. dito ako sa KB. probinsya lang diba? hehe

Waaah! Miss ko na ang KB! Gustong gusto ko bumalik dyan kaso wala pa opportunity. And for me, mas magandang magraise ng kids dyan keysa sa Sg. Namimiss ko na ang millimewah! Tama ba? Saka ano nga yung bakeshop dyan sa town? Dun ako bumibili ng pandesal lagi eh. hehe!

haha gano ka bah katagal dito sis? talaga namiss mo KB? bihira ko marinig yan eh unless lumaki din sila dito. hehe

mas tipid dito sis kesa sa SG. ok nga magraise ng kids dito. haha syempre sasabihin ko yun dahil dito ko lumaki. lol
