soooo envy you sis minakichu     aliw naman your blog kasi it reminded me of my RLs and other bags which i have long forgotten because of my addiction with LV, hahahahaha..

^haha sis it's been a long way talaga, kakainis din minsan influence ng friends Kaya dun nagsimula my addiction. Pero super happy din ako sa mga cheap items, mix n match. Yung mga expensive pang longterm use na talaga. Sa clothes di ako mapili. Anything goes basta ok ang fit. Sa bag and makeup and jewelry Lang ako addict talaga. Hehe

clothes - i love buying clothes from tiangge but i make sure the tela is nice. i already know the kind of garment that shrinks so i stay away from them kahit maganda yung design. if you love gh, you'll know na where to buy clothes, you just have to spend 1 hour looking for the stall. hehe. i love Bayo for its femininity and class, so that's where i buy talaga. my other clothes, i ask na my mom to buy me in the states.

jeans - i only buy in Topshop. no other brand gave me the perfect fit. i rarely buy jeans, twice a year lang yata so even if it's a little expensive, it's still worth every penny.

shoes - yes. i've found comfort in them. and when they get worn out, you'll just say, "worth it na yung pinambili ko nyan. i'll buy another one like that".

bags - yes. i think every woman lusted over a designer bag at one point of her life. and i really think every woman deserves to have one Speedy in her bag closet. kahit one lang. if you can afford more, why not?

cosmetics - yes, branded even if i only use a concealer and a lip&cheek tint. shu uemura and benetint.

watch: yes, too. it's an investment. period.

so, to sum it all up, i guess i am a sucker for branded stuff. BUT I ONLY BUY THE ONES I CAN AFFORD, I DO NOT LUST OVER THINGS I CANNOT BUY EVEN IN TWO LIFETIMES. i love tiangges/bazaars basta good quality talaga (i love rockwell bazaars!). Imelda Marcos once said, "They say I'm extravagant because I want to be surrounded by beautiful things. But, tell me, who wants to be surrounded by garbage?" True, right?

clothes, shoes, bags, watches, make-ups - lahat branded simply because yun ang gusto ko.. i buy not to boast but because branded things make me happy.. people need not know that what i have or wear are branded, care ko    my happiness does not depend on what others think of me..

just like you sis amji, i do not lust on things i know i cannot afford, i know when to stop naman..

sis minakichu, remember i said i soo envy you, hehe, saw kasi on your blog the burberry scarf that has been haunting me since feb..  been thinking tuloy if i should buy it, part of me is saying i need it but the other part is saying hindi, hahahaha, isip isip isip muna

@amji - i really like the one you quoted from Imelda Marcos i remember my sister-in-law telling my mom that i'm like her eldest sister who are brand conscious & loves signature stuff..so what if I'm like this? same as ms.honey i'm happy this way, and what's wrong if we can afford it

bought it na last saturday sis minakichu, hahahahaha, i ate my words.. told myself i'll stop muna from spending after my recent lv purchase but when i showed it to my mini me and she said "its so cute mommy", hala sige binili ko na talaga..  she's only 3 yet so kikay na talaga

the scarf is really pretty talaga weee i liked what sis ms. honey said too if you can afford it why not pera mo naman yun and if you know your limits naman go! some kasi nababaon na sa utang super shop pa din para lang ano?? diba? may kilala kasi ako ganon i pity her.

Here goes:

clothes - Zara, Mango, Landmark ( you can find gems here), tiyangges of the world, sp. HK and Singapore's kasi Japanese inspired sila

jeans - Lucky Brand ( super lambot to death), Seven (slims my hips- akala ko payat ako!!).  I don't like stiff itchy jeans kasi e.  I find these two brands to be the softest and most comfortable.

shoes -  I had some Gucci shoes when I was single- thanks mom (decades ago) kalyo lang nakuha ko, kaya after that I'd go for the softest pair usually unbranded (dami sa Australia nito- cheap pa), I am loving Melissa now- very soft pala, Birkinstock.

bags - branded, I dunno, just can't seem to buy unbranded ones...psychological na e....anyways, once you've crossed the line girls, you'll know. Kaya think 100 times before buying your first designer purse.

cosmetics - no make up for me

watch: understated but elegant watch- middle of the road ones.
 
Underwear: only Cotton on Body- cheap and ang lambot talaga
Some Victorias before to push my girls up- very effective kasi...but now that am oldER, di na- Cotton on nalang ako.

top- ok lang branded or tiangge. madali lang kasi mwala sa uso..

jeans/shorts- i prefer branded.. matagal masira at matagal mawala sa uso..

make-up- branded at kelangang hypoallergenic din.. =)

undies- branded dapat. =)

shoes- branded- pangmatagalang gamit.. rain or shine hindi agad masisira.. =)

bags- branded

gadgets- definitely branded..

nag-iinvest talaga ako sa branded para sa pangmatagalang gamit.. mas practical kaysa bumili ng mura at sa madaling panahon sira na.. =)

thanks sis minakichu, am so happy for you as well   ... you are one lucky lady,  pls do take care of your lv speedy roses...  i shouldnt have listened to my hubby when i was about to buy that, kasi sakit daw sa mata.. ayun tuloy, namaga mga mata ko kakaiyak when i came back after a week to buy it kasi wala na sya... priceless daw itsura ko sabi ni hubby, para daw akong naagawan  ng candy 

hirap pag branded din kasi i get uncomfortable everytime i see replicas/fakes, grrrr!!!

for tops - kahit ano lang saken basta i prefer pure cotton

bags - lacoste, lacoste and lacoste (happy nako with that)

rubber shoes - nike, merrell ( i rarely use flats or sandals)

perfume - jo malone (love it!)

underwear - anything cotton (basta match!) i usually buy jockey lang or triumph, and hubby buys me VS whenever possible

when i was younger, i used to shop at baclaran or tutuban tiangges then after one or two washes yung slacks naging capri pants na....hehe

hmmm...i think im into branded stuff but not really the premier designer stuff yet.  control muna, mahirap na if masimulan...

tops - maldita, mango, guess, calvin klein, burberry

jeans - guess (this is the only brand which fits me well)

shoes - any basta authentic leather so im into Alberto and havaianas for flip flops

bags - a collection of burberry (i started when di pa sya uso), coach, dooney & bourke, longchamp, a collection samsonite (for luggage)

make up - clinique and the body shop

i consider myself as 65% branded.

not all branded stuff are must-have for me though.. there are branded stuff na i know i can only/should only have in my dreams.. and there are branded stuff na i know i can live without..

i am branded in most of my things.. not in a boastful and show-off kind of way but because of the quality, durability and elegance that comes with it.. i used to buy cheap-tiangge stuff a lot before but they end up getting sloppy and their colors wash out after a few uses, i still do now but i inspect the material intently and very seldom nalang..

i believe i am a middle-class branded.. hehe.. there are luxury brands that i can only dream about and feel guilty spending for.. especially now that i'm a mom already.. first priority ko future ng baby ko..

i spend for shoes, jeans, bags, underwear, tops (a few) & jewelry..
